FIRST IRAN NOW SYRIA APPEARS TO BE COMING NUKE COUNTRY

A recent ABC News item reported on an Israeli air strike that took place early last month inside Syria. This air strike allegedly destroyed a fledgling nuclear reactor being constructed deep in the Syrian desert. What makes this story more than it appears is that it exposes the fact the United States balked, flinched on preventing Syria, a State Department designated state sponsor of terrorism and an ally of Iran, from attempting to attain nuclear capability. Instead, the United States stood by as Israel set the Syrian nuclear clock back.The air strike is still cloaked in secrecy. The Israeli press is forbidden from reporting on it and only a few White House insiders are privy to the details which led to the action. But ABC News reported a “high ranking intelligence official” divulged that Israel had infiltrated the team constructing the nuclear facility. The operative meticulously documented the work being done, gathering evidence that would render impotent any argument that anything but a nuclear facility was being constructed. The operative also gathered evidence that North Korean nuclear technology was being exploited at the Syrian construction site.After weighing all of the evidence the White House indicated that it was not interested in engaging in any military action against the Syrian facility. Those examining this decision, including those at ABC News, believe the White House balked, in a large part, because the evidence presented wasn’t overwhelming enough. They believe that because fissionable material hadn’t actually been created that there wasn’t enough evidence to act.Although the threat of nuclear proliferation by a state sponsor of terrorism should be of utmost importance to us all it is easy – albeit disturbing – to see why the Bush Administration would refuse to take action without actual WMD being developed. It is easy to understand because the world just witnessed the demonizing of the Bush Administration for thwarting the nuclear capabilities of Saddam Hussein’s regime, a regime that was much further along in nuclear proliferation than Syria. This demonizing was the result of political opportunism.Those willing to be honest, listened to or read President Bush’s September 12, 2002 address to the UN General Assembly and understood that the existence of WMD in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq was the least among the reasons given for regime change in that country. People of integrity, who chose to familiarize themselves with the facts, understand that there were several more critical reasons why Hussein’s regime had to come to an end, including the genocide of the Iraqi Kurds and Saddam Hussein’s nuclear development program, which was far more advanced than the Syrian or Iranian programs.Of course, all of those elected to office are not honest or people of integrity. Many elected to office are agenda and ideologically driven, simply engaged in the pursuit of power. To these people, the truth is a “good thing” when it aids their cause and something to be spun or ignored when it stands to detract from their agendas. Such is the case with the WMD argument of the Secular-Progressive, anti-war Left.

Armed with a solid understanding of the facts and a genuine accounting of the reasons for military action in Iraq, it is hard to recognize the rhetoric of the Secular-Progressive, anti-war Left as anything but dishonest.

Those with a fact-based understanding of the issue understand the Secular-Progressive, anti-war Left has employed a political tactic (PROPAGANDA) , to effect a change of power in Washington toward a government more favorable to their ideology.

With a faithful "lapdog" in the mainstream media, their disinformation campaign to obfuscate the truth in their quest for power is formidable. Normally this type of behavior is greeted with a roll of the eyes or a sigh of intellectual exhaustion for its ability to drain the will of even the most ardent supporters of the truth.

But this time, deceitful political opportunists have literally put us all in harms way. This time they have intimidated the Government leadership into questioning solid, actionable evidence of nuclear proliferation by a terrorist supporting nation and, in the face of that evidence, ponder to the point of inaction as to whether the evidence was “enough” to justify any military action.

In our government’s hunt to attain enough “evidence” to convince the inconvincible they almost allowed a terrorist friendly nation to move closer to attaining the capability for bringing about a nuclear Armageddon. Thank God for Israel!

Syria has also proved open to Iraqi refugees, with the United Nations reporting that Syria is hosting approximately 1.5 million of them. More than a thousand arrive each day.

In allowing relatively free transit from Iraq, parts of Syria near the Iraq border are not completely under the Iran regime's thumb, providing far more space in Syria for potential opponents, particularly jihadists, to organize.

Bashar has tried to embrace and co-opt Islamists, moving away from his father's emphasis on repression alone, but many Islamists, and all jihadists, see the secular and Alawite regime Assad leads, as heretical and little better than the Zionist(Israel)regime next door.

They may tolerate Assad when they have other enemies to strike, but they will remain potential adversaries, and some will exploit the political space he has opened.
One lesson of Iraq is that massive instability is dangerous for U.S. interests, even when it occurs in the territory of an adversarial regime. Will we continue to talk about the threat or will we decide to do to them what they hope to do to us in the near future?

DEMOCRATS AND THEIR MEDIA ALLIES USE PROPAGANDA

Propaganda is the deliberate, systematic attempt to shape perceptions, manipulate cognition's, and direct behaviour to achieve a response that furthers the desired intent of the propagandist."

The use of propaganda to win or maintain political power has been used in the United States since the days of President Wilson, but today the Democrat Party has refined it to an art form. The following are some examples of the lies used as propaganda to sway public opinion.

Al Qaeda has been in Iraq long before the invasion. Prior to the U.S. led invasion, there were numerous Islamic extremist groups operating freely and with the support of Saddam’s regime and Al Qaeda’s command councils. Among these groups, Ansar al Sunni, Ansar al Jeddah, and Ansar al Islam were the most prominent. Saddam’s intelligence forces , worked through them, using these groups to conduct assassinations and other attacks on Saddam’s opponents in Northern Iraq. Numerous detainees; captured Iraqi intelligence agents of Saddam as well captured members of those groups and captured Al Qaeda detainees all make this claim.
Senator Biden and other Democrats lied to Americans by saying: "that the war in Iraq has nothing to do with the war on terror; the fight against Osama Bin Laden and his network of terrorist groups."
The Democrat Party’s Congress ordered that the words, “Global War on Terror” no longer be used. Senator Edwards (another Democrat seeking the Presidency) has said that the "the war on terror is just a bumper sticker!".
Leaders of the party’s base like Michael Moore and Bill Maher have told us that " there is no war on terror at all."
Speaker of the House Pelosi has told us that the war in Iraq is not only not tied to a war that her party’s leaders say doesn’t exist, but she goes further to say that it’s not even a war. It’s “a situation to be solved.”
Last fall Democrats were told a flat out lie by Chairman,Dr. Howard Dean, and other Democratic Party leaders who were trying to find a way to take power on Capitol Hill. Americans were told that Democrats would provide a New Direction in Iraq, and that it wouldn’t be an immediate rout or “redeployment” or withdrawal. Americans were told that there was a plan for success; a change in direction. On election night, Dr.Dean, admitted that there was never even a committee formed to brainstorm ideas on when to hold a meeting to draft such a plan.
There whole plan is a denial of the threat posed by Islamist terrorists, and calling the war, "Bush's war, despite the fact that most off them authorized the use of force against Saddam before our invasion.
The collaborators in this propaganda campaign, The media, uses half truths and distortions daily to convince the American public, that the war is unjust and that we are loosing it and our prestige in World opinion. This despite the fact that we are daily making progress toward victory.
The Democrats, and the Leftist who appear to control it, are dedicated to the loss of the Iraq war and the destruction of the Judeo-Christian principles that this Country was founded upon and to replace it with a "PC" secularist Nation. This is not unlike the principles of Carl Marx, who theorized the Utopia of Communism, but never lived under it.

SCHIP GIVES US PEAK AT SOCIALISM HILLARY WANTS

Thr Presidntial race on the Democrat side appears to be locked up by Senator Hillary Clinton, I don't believe the scandal involving Hillary and Ron Paul will have much effect on her nomination. It may have an effect on the general election.
Hillary Clinton has repeatedly shown her Socialist inclination, but the following quote from her illustrates her position very clearly. Hillary Clinton:
"Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you," Clinton said, according to the Associated Press. "We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you...We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
The "common good" has been used as the excuse used by despots to take away individual rights, and redistribute the wealth for many years.
The Democrats in Congress are making a move to expand the Socialization of American health system by pushing the expansion of the SCHIP law,S-CHIP bill (H.R. 976),
This politically motivated bill advances a government run health care system by arbitrarily spending $35 billion over the next five years to expand a social program originally targeted at poor children to now include children and adults in families making over $100,000 a year and people who already possess private health care insurance.
In consequence, over 2 million people will be crowded out of their existing private health insurance and ensnared in this social welfare program.
Moreover, despite pretending otherwise, this bill ensures many of these new enrollees will also be illegal immigrants, who need only show a valid driver's license to join.
Some states, most recently New York, a person need not prove citizenship to receive a driver's license.
Compounding these problems, the bill refuses to prioritize federal spending and, instead, imposes a regressive tax disproportionately impacting the poor. Even with the new tax hike, the new S-CHIP program is unsustainable beyond 2013 and, thus, is fiscally irresponsible. This insult to the taxpayers is exacerbated when one takes into account the Democrats' Budget Resolution's promise of massive personal tax increases, many of which will be earmarked to fund S-CHIP or worse in future years. THE BEST REASON TO VOTE REPUBLICAN IN 2008

Even though the media darlings Hillary and Obama seemed destined to capture the democrat nomination there still is a lot of uncertainty as to whom the Republicans will nominate to run against either one in 2008.

Personally I don't care who the Republicans nominate as long as he/she can pledge that the EITC law won't be signed into law if it is passed by Congress. No one could do as much damage to the U.S. economy as a Democrat in the White House and Congressman Charles Rangel as head of the Ways and Means Committee.

Mr. Rangel has proposed a sweeping change to the tax code which he claims will give relief to working Americans. But people who know how the economy works have said his new proposal could destroy Our economy.

The following is a quote from the National Ledger: "Finally achieving his coveted chairman's role after years of waiting, Rangel wants to make history. His staff is hard at work on an audacious plan that over the next decade would redistribute up to a trillion dollars in American income through the tax system. Even if this package gets through the House, it likely would be filibustered to death in the Senate, with a veto by President George W. Bush as the last resort. But Rangel is targeting 2009, when he envisions a Democratic president and a filibuster-proof Democratic majority in the Senate.

Unlike the Republican Ways and Means chairmen who preceded him over the previous 12 years, Rangel has a comprehensive tax strategy and a calculated plan. His wedge is the AMT, the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) is part of the federal income tax system in the United States. There are two AMTs, one for individuals and one for corporations.

The AMT for individuals is is the most atrocious taxation imposed on the American taxpayer. In its present form it will raise $1.4 trillion in revenue over the next decade, through taxation of 23 million additional families this year alone. Congress regularly prevents this catastrophe by enacting a "patch" to the tax law that limits AMT coverage to 4 million upper-bracket families."Mr. Ranger proposes to raise this by abolishing the AMT.

The Secretary of the Treasury had this to say about Rangels proposed Bill: Meeting reporters at breakfast last week, Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson set as his tax priority a "patch" to slow the runaway Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). This statement flys in the face of Rangels proposed expansion of EITC, that would turn the need for a temporary tax fix into the most radical left-wing tax revision in half a century. It would include the raising of the maximum tax paid by workers from 33% to $40% to offset the income loss in the give aways of increased EITC.

In his meeting with reporters last week, Paulson claimed to be puzzled that Congress had not yet passed an AMT patch this year. Paulson views a tax increase as the worst medicine for today's economy. Paulson is alarmed that the U.S. advantage in tax policy is gone, with corporate taxes here now higher than those of foreign competitors. However, cutting corporate taxes, no matter how desirable for the sake of American prosperity, is no part of Charlie Rangel's desire to make history.

The Fear Mongers of the Democrat aspirants to the White House like Senator Durbin are trying to pull OUR attention away from the Socialization of the United States, by claiming President Bush will go to war against Iran. I believe the Israeli's, with our help, will handle that problem if it comes to that. The real problem with electing Democrats is their main thrust is the redistribution of wealth and the elimination of Christian values in the United States, while making us part of the "One World" community dominated by the UN.

DURBIN FAILS AGAIN

Senator Richard Durbin(Dem.Ill.),already notorious for his calling the treatment by U.S. troops at the prison in Guantanamo Bay,Cuba of treating terrorist prisoners similar to the Nazi death camps, and his infamous calling of general Petraeus a man who would lie for the President. Now has lost another battle.

Only this one is a victory for those of us who believe in the rule of law, and specifically the laws of the United States.

The Senate effectively defeated his bill called "The Dream Act",when the vote to cloture fell eight votes short.

This bill would have given fast track approval for citizenship to all children of illegals who qualified by meeting requirements specified in the bill.

Opponents of this bill, the Republicans who "held the line, believe that our borders should be secured before the "amnesty" concept is enacted.

Senator Durbin pulled out his crying towel and had this to say:

"I don't know when the next chance will be," he said. "But this is an idea whose time will come because it is an idea based on justice and fairness. To think that these young people would see their lives ruined because their parents were undocumented, because their parents brought them to this country."

I guess he doesn't believe the rule of law applies to justice.

Senate Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell had this to say.
"Though I recognize and appreciate the tremendous contributions to our country made by generations of legal immigrants, I do not believe we should reward illegal behavior," he said.
"It is our duty to promote respect for America's immigration laws and fairness for US citizens and lawful immigrants."
Republican candidate for President, Fred Thompson, said enacting the Dream Act would put children of illegals in a more favorable position than those of legal immigrants.

This act was nothing more than a continued attempt by Liberal Democrats to broaden their electoral base, and this blogger is pleased it was stopped.

PR CAMPAIGN WILL NOT CHANGE PUBLIC OPINION OF DEMOCRATS

House Democratic leaders, concerned about the public’s negative view of Congress, has launched a public relations offensive. Monday they began to "polish" the image of the new majority after a series of legislative setbacks this month.

The campaign, ranging from traditional events to conference calls with groups outside of Washington, is designed to co-opt some of the negative news about them.

Democratic operatives, like George Soros, aka: György Schwartz) and MoveOn.org, believe that the American public are fixated on the Democrats standoff with President Bush over Iraq.

They have decided that no other message is reaching the public. In a private meeting for scores of staffers, top advisers to the party’s leadership called on every Democratic lawmaker to amplify domestic accomplishments, from raising the minimum wage to expanding college aid, in a series of events back home in their districts. Part of the Democrats’ new offensive will remind voters exactly who they voted out of office last fall, particularly with regard to the "updated ethics" and lobbying laws...The plan is drawn, because the latest polls show the American public has a more favorable opinion of President Bush than of Congress, 34% to 24 %.

This plan will fail as have so many other propaganda efforts of regimes of the past. Before they can claim to have updated the ethics they will have to address the issues surrounding their leading candidate for the Democratic nomination for President. Senator Hillary Clinton is the subject of a lawsuit brought forth by a Hollywood promoter, Los Angeles millionaire lawyer and businessman Peter Franklin Paul who has asserted Clinton failed to declare to the Federal Election Commission more than $2 million in contributions – a massive omission he believes prevented her 2000 senatorial campaign from going bankrupt in the crucial final weeks.

They also conveniently forgot about Robert Torricelli - Democrat, who withdrew from the 2002 Senate race with less than 30 days before the election because of controversy over personal gifts he took from a major campaign donor and questions about campaign donations from 1996.

"lone rangers" who publish Conservative news that the Democratic-controlled Senate, which has chastised the Bush administration for politicizing the attorney general’s office, has placed a "secret hold" on the nomination of Rosa Emilia Rodriguez-Velez as Puerto Rico's attorney general.
According to The Hill, the hold was placed on the Rodriguez-Velez nomination just before Congress passed the new Honest Leadership and Open Government Act. That act requires that the name of any senator blocking a legislative decision be disclosed to the public within six days.
Observers say the nomination, which was approved by a voice vote of the Senate Judiciary Committee, could remain in political limbo indefinitely.
Rodriguez-Velez has waged an intensive probe of Puerto Rico’s ruling Democratic Party. It is widely believed that an ally of Democrats targeted by her three-year corruption investigation has blocked her nomination.
Most of the speculation hovers around Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., a close ally of Anibal Acevedo-Vila, the Democratic governor of Puerto Rico who is under investigation for campaign finance irregularities in his 2000 campaign.
All George Soros millions can't hide the truth from the American public. I predict this "move" by the Deamoncrat party will blow up in their face as have many other efforts over the past few years.

HILLARY HAS TO DEFEND ANOTHER FLIP-FLOP!

The thought of having the Clinton's back in the White House must make the hairs on the back of the necks of the Secret Service stand up!

Hillary is notorious for the alleged rude treatment she inflicted on her Secret Service detail. An ex-agent even wrote a book about her antics.

But before she captures the prize that she and "First Laddy wannabe"covet, she will have to explain to the voters why she has flipped on so many important issues depending upon whom the audience is that is listening to her.

The latest flap is over her position on Iran's rush to develop nuclear capability. When speaking to a Jewish group she said there are no options taken of the table when it comes to stopping Iran's development of nuclear weapons. But recently in Iowa she was questioned about this "hawkish" position, regarding her "Revolutionary Guard" vote. The person asking the question assumed she had given President Bush the "green light" to attack Iran.

Senator Clinton responded in a letter to Iowa voters this way. She says she "decided to support the resolution after Democrats removed language that according to Hillary could have given Bush the green light for military action", the New York Post reports.
“Only then did I and a lot of other Democrats vote for the resolution in order to pressure Iran by clearing the way for sanctions and pushing the President to get them to the negotiating table,” Clinton wrote in her Iowa letter.
“I was there, and I exercised leadership, and I explained my vote at the time,” she said, in an apparent reference to Obama, who missed the vote. She had been criticised previously by Obama and Edwards for her apparent support of a Bush attack on Iran.

Hillary – who is evidently now opposed to military action – said in February that "no option can be taken off the table" when dealing with Iran.
"U.S. policy must be clear and unequivocal,” she told a crowd of Israel supporters. “We cannot, we should not, we must not permit Iran to build or acquire nuclear weapons. In dealing with this threat ... no option can be taken off the table."

Long time White House Correspondent Helen Thomas had the following to say about Senator Clinton in an article printed recently in The New York Times Union. "Clinton has blown hot and cold on Middle East issues, including Iraq and the Palestinian-Israeli dispute. She is at best pragmatic. Principles? Well, that’s another story.
Before and during her early years in the White House, she supported Palestinian statehood, but she apparently forgot this after successfully running for senator from New York as a Democrat.
The rest is history. She obviously had to cater to a new constituency, make the ritual trip to Israel and forget any sympathy she once had for the Palestinians. But is her 180-degree flip-flop on that festering issue a portent of her leadership if she attains the White House?
As for Iraq, she voted in October 2002 to authorize President Bush to do what was necessary to unseat Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. Unlike former Sen. John Edwards, she has refused to say she made a mistake when she voted for the war.
She cannot claim she was misled. During the lead up to the war when she was briefed on the latest U.S. intelligence about Iraq, Bush was shouting from the housetops that he was going to attack Iraq.
Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld often strutted before reporters at the Pentagon two years before the invasion and bragged about the attack the U.S. would wage against Iraq.
Clinton is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, a post that will allow her to embellish her credentials as a possible future commander-in-chief to show she would not hesitate to make tough military decisions.
As a member of that committee, she visited Iraq in 2005 and said U.S. withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake. But she also criticized the administration for making poor decisions about the war."

Do Americans really want this "liar" to have the "seat of Power" in the United States?

REID AND HARKIN LEAD CHARGE TO SILENCE CONSERVATIVES

This has disturbed the "MoveOn.org Democrats deeply. So much so, that they had to revert to the dirty tricks of the Viet Nam era anti-victory ilk.

So they dragged out a lying Army Basic Training Camp washout to perpetrate a lie. This liar claimed that while earning his purple heart in Iraq, he witnessed atrocities committed by our troops.

We have since learned that his story was similar to that of now Senator Kerryaka "Swift Boat John", as he told lies to Congress about the atrocities committed in his presence in Viet Nam.

Only, unlike Senator Kerry, Jessie Mac Beth had never been to war. He was discredited and charged with attempting to defraud the VA.

The people like Senator Reid, who declared the war was lost over a year ago, and Senator Harkin of Iowa didn't disavow this anti-war liar. They decided to attack the Conservative Talk Radio personality who called the liar, Jessie MacBeth, a "phony soldier".

Senator Harkin is a known deceptive person, who lied about his military service during his political campaign. "Dingy Harry" stooped so low that he sent an email to thousands of constituents declaring that Rush had demeaned our troops.

To further add insult to injury, he sent a letter to the CEO of Clear Channel Channel Communications, and demanded that Rush be removed from their network. This letter was co-signed by 41 of the 50 Democrat Senators with such notably anti-military/anti-war Senators as Feinsteine, Durbin, and Dodd.

Not wanting to be outdone, retired General Wesley Clark demanded that Rush be removed from the Armed Forces Radio Network. We are lucky he is not leading our troops in Iraq. He would probably have advised President Bush to quit fighting by now.

Still smarting from their defeat of the attempt to pass the Fairness Doctrine, that was a craven attempt to silence talk show radio programs. The "egg on their face" for their support of MoveOn.org's calling General Petreaus, "Gen. Betray Us"! The Democrat leadership introduced a failed attempt to hurt the war effort with their attempt to censure Turkey for genocide that occured over 100 years ago.

They will never admit it, but the results they were looking for was not the censure of another despot for genocide, but to anger the leadership in Turkey enough that they would revoke the U.S. right to fly over their Country when transporting supplies to the troops in Iraq!

These people hide behind the saying, "they are doing their patriotic duty to protest and stop an unjust war." What their real intent is, in my opinion, is to discredit the Republicans enough that they can capture the White House not with positive programs, but with negative stories and lies about the war effort, President Bush and all who support "his war".

Wake up Conservatives! Mickey Mouse would be better in the White House than a Socialist/Democrat.

AN ATHEIST IN CONGRESS ATTACKS THE PRESIDENT

For 34 years we have had an atheist Congressman in the United States Congress. A man who has a record of being a secular humanist, and a man who now proudly proclaims his atheism, has taken upon himself to attack the president for his veto of the expansion of the the health act "SCHIP". Fortunately the House Democrats and RHINOS did not have enough votes to override this socialist bills veto.
This disgrace of the U.S.Congress recently received an award from the president of The American Atheists of Kalifornia", Dave King. The award was a gold lame purse!
This "nut case", Congressman Fortney "pete" Stark of Fremont, Cal., has the effrontery to violate the rules of the Congress that dictate that no member will make disparaging remarks about a member of Congress or the Chief Executive.
“Hi, my name is Pete.”
“And I have been totally godless for as long as I can remember.”
This is how he responded to his introduction at the atheist convention recently. Being an atheist he belongs to the Unitarian Universalist Community. More on this group later.

Only an area like the Bay area of Northern California could repeatedly, since 1973, elect a member of the "sect or cult" that refuses to call their gathering place a church, and instead call it a "fellowship".
The Unitarian Universalists, are followers of another Humanist, Starr King. This diminutive orator founded the First Unitarian Universalist Society church that still stands today in San Francisco.
The belief system, if you can believe a mixture of agnostic, atheists and Unitarian Universalists have a "belief" system. Their group is based upon the non-belief in a Deity, but the humanist ,pluralism and diversity of mankind.
What ever you feel and believe is right, you can accept as a true belief ,is the way I interpret my research of this cult that probably has the federal tax exemption of a Church.

2007-10-18: Stark Calls on Boehner, Republicans to Retract Opposition to Children's Health Care, Apologize to American Troops and their Families
"I have nothing but respect for our brave men and women in uniform and wish them the very best,,,,"In a heated floor speech, Stark repeatedly made the charge that the president would rather use government revenues to send U.S. soldiers to war than to pay for low-income kids' health care. A longtime war critic, Stark said the president couldn't find $35 billion to expand SCHIP but at the same time had requested an extra $200 billion to pay for military operations in Iraq. Earlier during the same session of the House he said this: "You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old, enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement."

This is not the first time Stark's mouth has moved faster than his brain. He once referred to a female colleague as a "whore" and speculated that another female colleague learned everything she knows about health care from "pillow talk" with her physician husband."

This is the man who said recently to a group of supporters in the San Francisco Bay area: “It’s not courageous to make a simple statement about personal beliefs … What is courageous is to stand up in Congress and say, ‘Let’s tax the rich and give the money to poor kids.’ Now that’s courageous.”

The American Humanist Association applauded Rep. Pete Stark for publicly acknowledging he does not believe in a supreme being. The declaration, it said, makes him the highest-ranking elected official and first congressman to proclaim to be an atheist. The organization took out an ad in Tuesday's Washington Post, congratulating the California Democrat for his stance.

I think he should be censured for violating House rules, but I won't wait, while holding my breath ,until the Congress does anything about this "trash mouth" Democrat. He fits in well with the rest of his ilk!

DEMOCRATS TRYING TO FORCE WITHDRAWAL FROM IRAQ WITH GENOCIDE BILL

Please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm’s way around the world, and for their families, especially those of our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, who have died in defense of American liberty while prosecuting the war with Jihadistan.

The prayer above is not another slogan for us who hope and pray for a victory in "Bush's War". It is a fervent request for all Jews and Christians to pray for the defeat of the dastardly Bill being proposed by Speaker Pelosi and her gang of power hungry "thugs" in the Congress.

In all my years watching the dirty tricks in Congress being perpetrated by both Democrats and Republicans. I have never seen such a slyly conceived attempt to put the knife in the back of our troops, as the genocide Bill being proposed by the "deamoncrats".

More than 100 years ago there was a genocide in Turkey, but their also have been many other genocides in the more recent past that the Democrats conveniently ignore.

Just to name a few that were as bad or worse are the mass killings still going on in Africa by waring rebels tribes against their own people, Stalin's murder of his entire general staff and the killing of millions whom were declared dissidents. Pol Pot can be remembered for the millions he killed in Cambodia after the Viet Nam debacle.

By condemning the Turks, the Democrats hope to anger the leadership of Turkey enough that they will retaliate against the United States.

The result they want is the denial of air routes for U.S. military planes to fly over Turkey from bases in Europe.

Over 75% of the supplies sent to the troops in Iraq by air must be flown over Turkey.

Since the hypocrites representing the Democrats in Congress have neither the courage or the votes to vote to cut off supplies to our brave troops. They are trying to do it by surreptitious ways. Like a thief in the night!

Please call or write your Congress person, and tell them you want them to vote against a Bill that borders on "giving aid and comfort to the enemy"!

If I was still a Democrat I would be ashamed of what they are doing in an attempt to win powerand control!

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS

For the twelve years I lived in California I was exposed to the liberal antics of the California Democrat party and it's Democrat Governors. My job took me to Sacramento where I stayed across the street form the Capitol. I marveled and was somewhat perplexed how the Democrats had a vice-like grip on the State Government despite the ever rising tax rates they imposed on the people of California to subsidize their welfare state.

So I was surprised when a foreign born actor, who could barely pronounce the name of the state was elected Governor.

Arnold Alois Schwarzeneggar, Austrian born body builder and actor was elected Governor as a Republican in 2003, and re-elected in 2006.

This self professed admirer of President Richard Nixons views on free enterprise, was a breath of fresh air blowing through the state I used to live in . I thought!

But the "Governator", who married a Kennedy, and attends Catholic Mass every Sunday with his family at Saint Monica's Church, has acted like a left wing secularist of late.

The list of things he has promoted is lengthy, but for the pupose of this blog I will comment on the most recent and agregous act that Govoner Arnold has signed on to.

He signed a law recently, that "rips" the heart out of the American and Judeo-Christian Family! "Mom and Dad" as well as "husband and wife" have been banned from California schools under a bill signed by Gov. Schwarzenegger, who with his signature also ordered public schools to allow boys to use girls restrooms and locker rooms, and vice versa, if they choose.

"Analysts have warned that schools across the nation will be impacted by the decision, since textbook publishers must cater to their largest purchaser, which often is California, and they will be unlikely to go to the expense of having a separate edition for other states. The bills signed by Schwarzenegger include SB777, which bans anything in public schools that could be interpreted as negative toward homosexuality, bisexuality and other alternative lifestyle choices. There are no similar protections for students with traditional or conservative lifestyles and beliefs, however. "

In my humble opinion, SB 777 will result in reverse discrimination against students with religious and traditional family values.

It would appear to this blogger that the "GOV." has turned on the very people who had high hopes for a Conservative leader when he was elected Governor. I am glad I no longer live in the "land of fruits, nuts and flakes"!

A CALL TO ALL CONSERVATIVE AMERICANS

On the twelfth of October 2007 Oliver North Posted an article warning US that the "insider establishment" and "one world" advocates in Congress are trying to resurrect and legitimize a United Nations treaty that President Ronald Reagan said, during his Presidency, was a threat to the sovereignty of this great country, and a violation of our Constitution.
The treaty which is on the "fast track" of the U.S. Senate is the "LOST" treaty. First shelved by the Senate in 1962, but resurrected by Senator Biden and his cohorts. This treaty ostensibly is to preserve International waters for peaceful purposes. In fact , the 202 pages of the treaty, would dictate user fees for private shipping companies using international waters to transport goods to and from the United States. It would dictate global environmental regulations that would have to be honored by all ships at sea. But worst of all, it would hinder if not stop the U.S. navy from military exercises that use weapons in their training.
Ex-President Clinton, a favorite of the Internationalists, has come out in favor of the treaty, and I am sure ALGORE will soon lend his Nobel prize winning support to this dastardly treaty.
The following is a direct quote from Col. Oliver Norths article:
"According to the U.N., the purpose of LOST is to preserve international waters for peaceful purposes. But Articles 19 and 20 of the treaty would proscribe the U.S. Navy from training with weapons, collecting intelligence or interfering with enemy communications in the territorial waters of other countries without their expressed permission. Military aircraft are prohibited specifically from taking off and landing in these waters, and severe limitations would be imposed on loading and unloading “any commodity, currency or person” including military equipment. Submarines are required to travel on the surface and “show their flag in territorial waters." Article 30 states that warships not complying with the laws of a coastal nation can be forced to leave. Disputes about these issues would be adjudicated by international lawyers."
In 2003, Navy Adm. Michael Mullen, now the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that rulings from these arbitration panels “could have an impact on operational planning and activities, and our security."
LOST also opens the door to a long-sought U.N. goal: the redistribution of wealth by taxing Americans. The International Seabed Authority, a bloated, multinational bureaucracy headquartered in Jamaica, has the mandate to distribute revenues and “other economic benefits” on the basis of “equitable sharing criteria, taking into account the interests and needs of developing states." In addition to acting as a global IRS, the ISA also decides which companies from which nations will develop mineral resources on the seabed.
The conclusion of Col. North's article sums up more succinctly. than I can, why all Conservative Americans should right or call their Senators and tell them to vote against this power grab by ONE WORLDERS!
"Before casting a vote to ratify LOST, all 100 senators should read Article 314 of this onerous treaty and Article II, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution. The U.N.-crafted document specifies that amendments to the treaty can be adopted -- and therefore enforced -- without the consent of any signatory. Yet our Constitution requires that two-thirds of our Senate concur in any treaty. Do 67 members of this Senate now want to surrender that authority to foreign governments?"

IT MAY BE FREE BUT IS IT ACCESSABLE?

Democrats and some Republicans seem to be trying to make government run health care the major issue for voters to consider in the coming elections. The only real reason for this trend is the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.Her main issue is to provide Americans with Socialized Medicine.

An issue she tried to "cook -up" behind closed doors during Bill Clinton's first term as President. She failed miserably that time.

But now her complete election agenda appears to this blogger, as total socialism, if not Communism.
"It's all about the children," she says, "We have to provide health care for the low income children." Mrs. Clinton's idea of "low income children" is a 24 year old living at home with a family income of up to $80,000.00 annually. Obviously, this is not about the children. It's about government control over your health care in the hands of politicians who won't stop until they have control over every aspect of your life. To see what she plans will produce one need only look to Great Britain to see the costly mess they have with Socialized medicine, and I have written a previous blog on the horrors of the Italian Socialized Medicine I experienced first hand.

In England there is such a shortage of Dentists , particularly in small cities and towns that people have started do it yourself Dentistry(DIY).

They are anesthetizing themselves with liquor and "pulling" their own teeth. Some even do it for others, and there are reports that some skilled "DIY"s are removing their neighbors infected and rotted teeth.

This is a tolerable if unpleasant situation, but the deaths caused by infections in hospitals throughout the United Kingdom are a major concern.

The London Daily Mail reported yesterday that British hospitals are the most dangerous in Europe for killer super bugs. Mutating Strains of Resistant Staphylococcus is the primary cause, and could be avoided with proper barrier protection.

Liberal Democrat spokesperson for the National Health Service had this to say about the high infection rate:
"Our rates of infection are 'alarmingly high', according to research funded by the European Commission.
It put Britain at the top of a health league table for once, but only for shameful failure.
The danger of contracting the drug-resistant MRSA bacteria( a strain of anti-biotic resistant) in the UK was more than 15 times greater than in the safest countries in the study - Iceland, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands.
The findings led to calls for urgent NHS action against MRSA - Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus - which is thought to claim up to 5,000 lives a year in the UK.
The infection can be spread by doctors and nurses failing to wash their hands after treating patients, but it also thrives on grubby curtains, carpets and bedding.

'Just getting staff to pay attention to basics such as washing their hands could make a real difference. Pressure of work can never be an excuse.'
MRSA is estimated to cost the NHS more than £1 billion a year with some 100,000 hospital patients in England - one in ten - falling victim.
Many strains are so virulent that entire wards and operating theatres have to be shut down and cleaned.
Treating MRSA can mean weeks or even months of misery for sufferers, as wounds fail to heal and recovery is prevented.
Victims are supposed to be nursed in isolation, but a lack of beds means this is not always possible."

Do we Americans really want to drag down the best Care System in the world, just so we can "offer" a comrehensive but inferior system of health care? There has to be a better way!

WILL AMERICANS TRADE "GOODIES" FOR SLEEZE?

During what feels like a never ending campaign to become the nominee of the two political parties. The media darling and previous co-occupant of the Oval Office, Hillary Clinton, has promised Americans a Socialistic package of "goodies" that Michael Harrington would be proud to co-sponsor.
Michael Harrington is the author of fifteen well known Socialist books, most were included in the list of required reading for all liberal arts students in college in the 60's and 70's. One of his books " The Other America, Poverty in the United States" was required reading for all sociology students and the "bible" for all aspiring young Socialists. Hillary must keep it at her bedside!
Senator Clinton has brought her "bag of tricks" to a new audience. Previously, the Deamoncrats deigned their "welfare" programs for the "impoverished" residents of the inner city. Now Hillary has broadened her target audience to include the "soccer moms", and the middle class. A class that has gradually shrunk thanks to the taxation policies of the party she will represent in 2008.
What she does not want the people to remember or think about is the history of corruption she and her Co-President, husband Bill dragged this Country through for eight long years.
When President Clinton was elected he spoke these words:"I will lead the most ethical administration in the history of this country".
Anyone who witness the corruption and hanky-panky in the Oval Office, must realize that these words were just as ludicrous as President Nixon's " I am not a crook".
The Clinton's were not just crooks they were "twisted', but then Hillary says that is just the right wing conspirators talking!
The facts show it is not a conspiracy, but the truth that won't be repeated in her adoring Media.
The following are items the American people should consider before they elect these two born again "hippies" to the White House again. All are alleged or proven facts.

Hillary Clinton became the first first lady to testify before a grand jury when she was subpoenaed by the Whitewater grand jury.
Took a $100,000 bribe, camouflaged as futures trades, from Tyson Foods Inc.
Speculated in Health Care industry futures while overseeing legislative reform of same.
Failed to correct false testimony by co-defendant Ira Magaziner in Health Care trial.
Obstructed justice by ordering the shredding of Vince Foster's documents in the Rose Law Firm.
Ordered members of the Health Care Task Force to shred documents that were the target of a court probe.
Ordered the removal of documents from Vince Foster's office and told aides to lie about their removal of documents.
Obstructed justice by keeping her billing records, a document sought under subpoena, in a closet in the White House residence.
Lied to investigators about her knowledge about billing records.
Lied to investigators about her involvement in the Castle Grande land flip con.
Ordered the use of the FBI to discredit Travel Office employees.
Lied to investigators about her involvement in the firing of Travel Office Employees.
A Federal judge ordered a trial on July 25, 1994 to determine if Hillary Clinton's heath care task force illegally operated in secret.
The White House finally releases more than 2,000 documents on June 25, 1996, relating to the travel office firings, originally requested two years prior by congressional investigators.
On top of all the above the Clinton were too close to people who have been indicted, convicted or are being investigated by Federal agencies, to allow them again to have access to the seat of Power in the U.S.
Such characters as Jorge Cabrera, Wang Jun, Grigory Litchansky, Yoh Lin Trie, Webster Hubbell, Peter Paul and Roger Tamaraz were large contributors and frequent visitors to White House "Teas", and are now in jail or under indictment. They all contributed heavily to the Clinton's election Campaigns.
Will Americans choose Socialism over honesty in government? I hope not!

RUSSIA SLIDING TOWARD DICTATORSHIP?

Not since Ronald Reagan was President has Russia laid down the gauntlet as did Vladamir Putin this morning during a meeting with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense William Gates in Moscow. To begin with he made them wait 40 minutes before he arrived!
Mr. Putin, who earlier this month announced that he would renege on his promise to step down at the end of his term as President, and run as Prime Minister of Russia. Threatened the American delegation that if the United States continued it's plans to establish an anti-missile base in Poland and a radar tracking station in the Chech Republic. Russia would strongly consider pulling out of the intermediate range missile treaty signed in 1987 during the cold war by The Soviet Union and President Reagan.
Putin an ex-KGB agent Colonel, and his FSB Colonel General Sergei Ivanov were part of a four man group including Putin, that met in Putin's Dacha in rural Moscow. The other notables who were in attendance were Sergy Lavrov and Anatoly Serdyukov. Government appointees of Putin's inner circle of Power.
Of note is the fact that Mr. Ivanov is former Federal Couter Intelligence Service member (FSK). This Service replaced the KGB after the supposed demise of the Soviet Union. In 2004 it was changed to the FSB. Over 78% percent of the top 1000 political figures under Putin are estimated to be ex-FSB members. It is noteworthy to mention that Putin himself said there are no ex-KGB members that are alive.
Does the threat laid before our Secretary of State indicate the resurgence of the cold war? I believe so. I don't believe it ever ended. It just "went to Ground".
The Russian billion dollar deal to build a nuclear power plant in Iran was one of the actions taken by Putin that should have signaled the power grab in the back of Putin's mind.
With over 8% of Russia's taxes coming from Gasprom, the big gorilla of natural gas and petroleum in Europe. Putin has available to him the money needed to ramp up his military and re- institute the cold war against the U.S. with the willing accomplices of the Iranians and other American hating Arab Countries.
To fully grasp the devious nature of the suave ,urbane looking Putin you have to understand that many informed people believe that Putin has been, undercover of media silence, gradually establishing his control over Russia with an iron fist approach.
Not the least of the actions that are believed to have been caused by his direction are the recent murder of a female Journalist and an ex-KGB agent who had said or written unfavorable things about Putin and his Government.
If Putin wants to re-establish a dictatorial type of control over Russia he will need to convince the Russians that his being Prime Minister over a "figure head" President. He must assure that there will be no obvious dissent.
Even though Russia was already a hostile place for political dissent. Putin's first convenient event that helped stifle opponents, was the killing of Journalist Anna Politkoskaya in her apartment by gun shots.

Then the suspicious death of Alexander Litvinenko, a former KGB officer, and outspoken opponent of the FSB is the most recent example.

Litvinenko was writing a book about the FSB’s abuses (including high-profile assassinations) during the Putin era and allegedly had been gathering information on the FSB’s involvement Politkovskaya’s death. Litvinenko died of a mysterious case of polonium-210 radiation poisoning on 23 November 2006. He was apparently infected during a meeting with a contact a month earlier.

So the Doves in the United States should wake up to the threats that are all around us and within our Country. Their dissent will not be tolerated if we loose this war!

CRITICS THINK PATRIOT ACT IS BAD!

In this Country we have the Patriot Act to locate terrorists and terrorist sympathisers who aid them with money and spying. The majority of Americans realize we are in the midst of a war with Islamist extremists, and accept the Patriot Act for what it is. A line of defense against an enemy dedicated to the eradication of our way of life.
Unfortunately their are many groups who would rather "be free than safe", as was expressed by the statement of ACLU representative, Cindy Whitfield.
Her organization had filed by 2003, 24 lawsuits against the Patriot Act , including one for the CAIR instituted suit against an American airline for violation of the civil rights of disruptive Muslim Imams.
The ACLU has spent millions of dollars on the advertising campaign against the Patriot Act . The effort is called "keep America Safe and Free".

These "quasi-patriotic" groups and organizations try to appear concerned for the rights of the "little guy", but are in fact trying to destroy the rule of law. Too many members and leaders of the ACLU are neo-Communists who are dedicated to the destruction of our way of life, and substituting their Utopian ideals of Marxist socialism.
The ACLU was formed in 1920 by an attorney, Roger Baldwin who had served nine months in jail for refusing to be drafted in WWI, and a feminist who founded the New York branch of the Women's Peace Party. The ACLU members at the beginning were previous members of the National Civil Liberties Bureau. Many were immigrant Marxists and Anarchists.
The ACLU has defended the right of the Klu Klux Klan to hold rallies, and a famous case upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, they defended Yetta Stromberg vs. The people of the State of California. This case was brought about because Yetta had a Communist Youth Camp in California that flew the Red Communist flag and not the Stars and Stripes.
During WWI President Wilson said: "The authority to exercise censorship is absolutely necessary to the Public safety", and Teddy Roosevelt once said: "anti-war advocates are the enemies at home".

The ACLU and all the other Iraq War protesters like the "She Witch" Cindy Sheehan, should look to Russia where their speech and actions would certainly get them killed or jailed!
The "better red than dead" crowd should read the article printed in the Front Page Magazine on line, that details a forum held to discuss the death of Anna Polikovskaya, shot in her apartment in Moscow 10/7/06, and the murder in Great Britain of former Lt. Col. Alexxander Litvinenko of the Russian Secret Service(formerly KGB) 11/1/06.
The following is an excerpt from a participant, Vladimir Bukovsky. A man who as a Soviet dissident, had spent 12 years in Soviet prison camps, when asked to comment on the deaths of The Journalist Anna and the ex-RFFSS agent, had this to say.

A stage is set for any critic of Putin's regime here, especially those campaigning against Russian genocide in Chechnya, to have an appointment with a poison-tipped umbrella. According to the statement by the RF Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov, the black list of potential targets is already composed."

ALLIANCE BETWEEN ISLAMISTS AND COMMUNISTS?

For a very long time I have pondered why the French, Russian and Chinese repeatedly vote against resolutions, proposed in he UN by the United States, to restrict the continued march for nuclear weapons in Iran and other Countries anything but friendly to the U.S.

One would think that the French, Russians and Chinese would see the threat of nuclear proliferation, and vote with us. But the case can be made that by their veto power in the UN, they have aided and abetted the radical Islamists in their quest to gain enough power to destroy not only Israel but the United States as well.

I have finally come to the conclusion that it is because of the inculcated hatred for Americans success in the world of economics, and military might that the "neo-communists have looked to the radical Muslims to do their dirty work for them.

Since the days of Marx and Lenin and continuing in great force during the days of Stalin and Kruscheff. Communists have hated the freedom and success of the United States.

When Joseph Stalin said: We don't have to defeat you by force . We will defeat you from within." He was already setting up his world wide spy network, including the Capitols of Europe and America. History shows all the major European countries and America have discovered spies in high places in government, and we will never know how many are still operating.

These Communists have developed through propaganda, disinformation and lies a long list of followers all over the world. Their mission is to bring down our government what ever way they can, so they can replace it with Godless Communism. Communism that has a place for the neo-Communists in the upper eschelon of life, as we learned they had, even during the days of Stalin in the USSR.

Unfortunately Our State Department, Academia and the Media, to name but a few of the spheres of influence here in the U.S, have neo-Communists within them. These are referred to as Left-Wingers, but the true neo-Communist is one who hates the Capitalist system, and desperately wants to change it to Marxist Socialism. A failed idea, but they fervently believe they can do it right this time!

This is the reason the Russians under ex?-KGB officer, Putin and most of Europe's leadership has gone soft on the war against Islamic-fascism.

They want the U.S. brought to its knees, and they are using the radical Muslim world in their fight against the U.S.

Weapons from Russia and China. Technology from France and a pro-Communist press in Great Britain have been helping the Islamists since the "Food for OIL" scandal broke.

EU propaganda is just recycled socialist propaganda. You can easily see it on the web.
It is no accident that the United Kingdom today is surrendering its national sovereignty to the European Union as fast as possible: The socialist ruling classes in the UK know they will merge seamlessly into the EU elites, at higher salaries, bigger perks, and much more power. The UK elites are simply planning to join the new ruling class of the emerging European Empire. It's a promotion they just can't turn down.
Down the road it's quite possible that the EU will turn Hard Left, and junk soft socialism. And it's not impossible that it will turn Hard Right, like the Nazis. It all depends on circumstances. In France, Dominique de Villepin certainly celebrates a Napoleonic Empire for the future, as he makes clear in his writings.
The most ambitious aim of the European Union, one that is not disguised, is to become part of a world government, a far more powerful United Nations perhaps, to unify control over the world. They are real enemies of Capitalism.
America has real enemies today. They are totalitarians who shout to the world that they are bound and determined to bring us Paradise on Earth -- as long as it's under their collective thumb. It doesn't really matter whether they are Islamists or Stalinist. They are not hard to figure out, since they proclaim their message from the rooftops. It is an ancient disease flaring up again.
Americans and other civilized countries have a record of winning out over tyrannical ideologies, at least over the longer term. But winning is by no means guaranteed. It's like a Twelve-Step Program -- first you have to recognize that the disease has gone too far. Then you can do something about it --- gently, factually, and in a persuasive way.
Winning against Neo-Communism is a matter of reaching hearts and minds, as it always is. Yes, you can love the sinners, just don't fool yourself about the sin. It all starts with telling the truth that is right in front of our eyes".

TAX PAYERS BEWARE OF HILLARY

Just when I thought Hillary Clinton had offered the American voters enough "goodies" to convince even the biggest sceptic that she is a hard core Socialist. She went and offered more free stuff that would have to be financed by the taxpayers who are already taxed heavily.

Today she promised, if elected President, she would establish 401 K plans for everybody! The following is aquote from The Hillary Project.

"Every citizen could get a 401(k) retirement account and up to $1,000 in annual matching funds from the government under a plan offered Tuesday by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.
At a cost of $20 billion-$25 billion a year, the plan is Clinton's largest domestic proposal other than her plan for universal health insurance.
The New York senator said it would be paid for by taxing estates worth more than $7 million per couple and would help narrow the gap between the rich and those who don't have enough savings for retirement.
At the same time, Clinton said she has given up another idea for a savings incentive—giving every baby born in the United States a $5,000 account to one day pay for college or a first home.
She made that suggestion last month before the Congressional Black Caucus, saying it was just an idea and not a policy proposal. The idea was criticized by Republicans, and she told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published Tuesday that it's off the table.
The campaign of her Democratic rival John Edwards suggested it was an example of Clinton setting her positions by polls. "Apparently, new polling data seems to have pressured the Clinton campaign to throw out the baby bond with the bathwater," said Edwards spokesman."

If Americans could see through the lies and false promises that Senator Clinton is spewing. They would realize that there is not enough money received by the Federal Government from the high earners to fund this plan. I believe it would not get through Congress, but it illustrates the lengths that this Socialist will go to to capture her prize--the White House!

If she gets elected every wage earner will pay the price for her Socialistic ideals!

DUPLICITY TRUMPS ETHICS IN DEATH PENALTY OPPOSITION

As Reported in JURIST, A federal judge ruled Wednesday that Tennessee's execution procedures constitute "cruel and unusual" punishment, derailing plans to execute a death row inmate next week. US District Judge Aleta Trauger [official profile] held that revised death penalty protocols [PDF text; JURIST report], devised by the Tennessee Department of Corrections in April at the request of Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen [official website], do not ensure that prisoners' are properly anesthetized before they receive a lethal injection and thus violate their constitutional Eighth Amendment rights. The Tennessee Attorney Generals office has not yet decided whether or not it will appeal the decision. This coincides with an article written by a British Neurologist for the JURIST, Dr. David Nocholl, demanding that death penalty cases that are carried out using lethal injection are cruel and unusual treatment because the chemicals used could allow the person being put to death to feel pain
Putting aside for a moment the fact that the person being put to death had no concern for the person he/she killed in a heinous manner felt pain.
There is a unfathomable hypocrisy in advocating the end to capital punishment based upon the pain it causes, while thousands of doctors inflict pain on unborn and partially born babies every day during abortions.
In the period from 1976 to 2000 there were just 64 executions in the State of Florida, but records show that in 2003 alone there were 854,122 abortions performed in the U.S.
Twenty-five percent of those women who had abortions gave the reason for the abortions as: "they wanted to postpone childbearing", and only 2.8% were because the mothers life or health was endangered by the pregnancy.
Over 12% of the abortions performed in the U.S. are done after 13 weeks post fertilization.
Available scientific evidence indicates that a fetus can feel pain 20 weeks after fertilization, and they certainly feel it when partial birth abortions are performed on fully formed babies. The source for this statistic is a Time Magazine article written in December 2006 by Nancy Gibbs.


Dr. Nicholls had this to say about the chemicals used in lethal injection:

"There is no clear medical reason for the use of the muscle-paralysing agent, Pancuronium, as there is the very real possibility of a prisoner who is paralysed but only partially anesthetized will experience intense pain with the cardiotoxin, Potassium Chloride. However, for death penalty proponents, clearly it would be disturbing to see a prisoner writhing in pain, so the use of Pancuronium would be a politically astute move. It is interesting to note how even the US veterinary association regard the use of Pancuronium unacceptable in the euthanasia of domestic pets. Today’s report clearly shows a number of cases where executions have been botched with prolonged deaths, skins burns and convulsions. Why do doctors involve themselves in the death penalty, when every medical association that has studied the matter, has so conclusively opposed the involvement of health care workers in the death penalty? Often there is ignorance of ethical guidelines amongst members of the medical profession"
It is equally interesting to this blogger that the doctor refers to pain inflicted on a dog and ignores the pain inflicted on millions of aborted babies!
Abortion hurts - - physically, psychologically,and spiritually. A recent column that appeared in an issue of the magazine "George". Written by Naomi Wolf, it was titled "The Dead Baby Boom." In a few words her thesis is that partial-birth abortions are so painful to contemplate that "the image pushing to the forefront of our culture is that of a tortured fetus outside the womb." Whether the victim is a newborn or an infant, these are "suffering babies". Why are people like Dr.Nicholland the Tennessee District Judge Trauger not more interested in the pain inflicted daily not occasionally in the dastardly abortion process. I think it is all about money!

WAS THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUION A MISTAKE?

Since 12/15/1791, when the State of Virginia ratified the Bill Of Rights ,that contained the first ten Amendments to the original Constitution signed in 1787. The first amendment has been twisted every way imaginable to allow the exclusion of religious symbols from public places.

It has also been used by Liberal activists to aid and abet flag burning,hard-core rap, heavy-metal lyrics, tobacco advertising, hate speech(used against the President often), pornography, nude dancing, solicitation and various forms of symbolic speech.

Is it time to consider separating hate speech and outright lying in publications outside the purview of the protection given by the First Amendment? Many would agree to limiting some forms of free expression, as seen in the First Amendment Center's State of the First Amendment survey reports.

The recent Washington State Supreme Court decision concerning the First Amendment right to lie in advertisements about political opponents, is a perfect example of the stretch that Liberal Activists have taken the First Amendment to mean.

By a narrow 5-4 decision the Washington State Supreme Court struck down the Washington State Law that forbids lying about one's opponent in political adds.

We all know politics produces lies, and most politicians tell lies. It is part of their make-up to lie about what they will do if elected, but to try to defame an opponent by telling or printing lies about him/her is a new low in political campaigns that will only get worse with Court rulings like the Washington case.

A recent poll by The First Amendment Center revealed that 60% of those surveyed believed the press reported the news with a political bias. This is a reflection of the fact that well over 95% of Journalists vote Democratic.

The same poll showed an increasing number of people believe the press has too much freedom to print what they want. The 34% who believe this is the case is considerably less than a poll taken in 2000 when over 51% believed the press had too much freedom to print what they wanted. This is probably a backlash from the controversy surrounding the 2000 Presidential election.

Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler were masters at propaganda, and ruled their press with an iron hand. Today the Liberals are using the press and the academic institutions to promote their secular, humanistic form of Marxist Socialism not unlike Adolf and Joe did in their reign of terror.

God willing, the Liberals won't be successful in their brain washing techniques using the First Amendment to hide behind. But I wouldn't bet on it.
