WHERE IS THE HOPE AND CHANGE FOR THE REST OF US?

"I want an American character, that the powers of Europe may be convinced we act for ourselves and not for others; this, in my judgment, is the only way to be respected abroad and happy at home." --George Washington.

While Obama claims that his administration brings "hope and change" to the American people. And masquerades his "spendulus package" as a stimulus effort, much of the billions in taxpayers money is rapidly finding it's way to European banks that are affiliated or hold paper from American financial institutions.

The only people whom are satisfied with the socialist tack that Obama has our ship of state headed toward are the "fat cat" financial manipulators who operate on the World stage, the academics who are the dedicated radicals of the 60's, Unions, Including the bloated teachers Union and the people who already are part of the government apparatchik.
The rest of us taxpaying middle class "fly over", gun owning, bible readers are left out in the cold holding the bag for the massive debt that we alone cannot pay. This estimated 10 trillion dollar debt will fall upon our children and grandchildren to be sure!

Now that the government has its hooks in GM, it can force the company to produce cars that meet the excessive environmental and energy standards of the EPA. In other words, cars that no one will buy when gas isn't $4 a gallon, and the cars cost 50 to $75,000.

Obama claimed, "The United States government has no interest or intention of running GM," but that is exactly what he has in mind. What else would the new car czar (read: kommissar) -- the Director of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers -- be empowered to do? In fact, Obama wants the federal government to "stand behind" warranties for GM and Chrysler, which even Democrats in Congress say he needs their approval to do.Will we have to call the White House to get a Gm car serviced or return a "lemon"?

As for Chrysler, why, of all companies, was Fiat chosen to partner with the smallest of the so-called Big Three automakers? Fiat is famous for making lightweight, fuel-efficient vehicles that are all the rage in Europe but which don't sell that well in America. If the design sense that made Fiat famous abroad and feckless here at home is applied to Chrysler, then the company might better be allowed to slip into bankruptcy -- something that could happen anyway if it doesn't craft a deal with the cardboard car company from Italy in 30 days. And from my vantage point, Fiat would be foolish to buy Chrysler!

Finally, as an April Fool's Day joke, Car and Driver magazine ran an article claiming that Obama had ordered Chevrolet and Dodge out of NASCAR if they were to continue to receive bailout funds. Naturally, it caused quite a stir because it was so believable. We can only imagine the White House staff crying, "Who leaked our plans?"SOURCE: PATRIOT POST

Despite the Media love affair over Michelle Obama's stunning clothes,(SHE CHANGES OUTFITS THREE TIMES A DAY WHILE IN FRANCE) and her being compared with Jackie Kennedy is patently absurd. The swoon over the POTUS and First Lady ignores the fact that their history illustrates that they both detest the way the USA has operated under the free enterprise system for years. The words still ring in my head that Michelle Obama said when she learned Barack was nominated to be the Democratic representative for President.
She said "this was the first time in her life that she was proud of America", and the speeches Obama gave in France were as deprecating as any man since Benedict Arnold turned on America and went over to the British. No American President should apologize to the Eu. Without the USA they would all be speaking German or Russian!

While the media cheers the new clothes that POTUS has put on
( welfare state clothing), the rest of us, over 50 million believe he has no clothes on that we can see will help us!

Does George Soros Write Obama's Speeches?

In war as in life, it is often necessary when some cherished scheme has failed, to take up the best alternative open, and if so, it is folly not to work for it with all your might...Winston Churchill

Apr. 3rd, 2009 | 11:44 am

The speeches that President Obama is making in France sound almost directly from the Book that George Sorros wrote in 2003, deprecating America under George Bush. The Book entitled “: The Bubble of American Supremacy: The Cost of George W. Bush’s War in Iraq

The tenents that Sorros advocates are pure Socialism, contrary tto the way of life we still have here in the USA.

His criticism is found within the the apopolgetic speeches that Obama began in England and is continuing in Europe to rave review from the Socialist populace.

See if you don’t recognize the tenents of Sorros as listed below as the theme of all the One World speeches that Obama has given in hid first trip as President.

President Bush’s reaction to 9/11 was an extreme over-reaction. The Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq have been counterproductive in the world scheme of things, causing far more harm than help.
The Global War on Terror was ill-conceived, ill-fought and ought to be dismantled, the sooner the better for international relations.
The desire to spread American democracy to other regions is based on a false set of documents, namely the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
Soros’ belief that there is no such thing as a universal truth, that all things are relative and all moral systems are essentially equivalent leads him to conclude that our founding documents are fundamentally flawed in that they claim to rest upon “self-evident truths.
These might be called more accurately, anti-tenets, as they merely serve to refute the Bush Doctrines. But any careful observer would be inclined to make special note of Soros’ ever-present insistence that American foreign policy be formulated in a way that puts international objectives ahead of U.S. objectives. Soros expects the U.S. to subjugate herself to what he believes will help the whole world, not merely us and our interests.
Obama is the first Presidnt who has made the trip to the EU to apologize for the USA actions. What he and the EU has apparently forgotten is that if it w not for the USA there would be no EU, only Hitler or Stalin and their successors!

President Obama’s Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has begged the Chinese to support our debt, while sloughing off human rights abuses by the communist regime and has praised the environmental efforts of our Mexican neighbor, while making no mention of the flood of Mexican illegal immigrants invading our southern borders. Madame Clinton has finger-wagged our Israeli allies, while securing $900 million in American aid to the beleaguered Palestinians (read Hamas) while there are no demands on them to stop firing rockets into Israel. Madame Clinton has additionally pledged a $200 million scholarship fund for Palestinians.
Buying friends is a staple of Soros foreign policy. Greased palms, he seems to believe, provide a great deal of “cooperation.

Candidate Obama echoed this view in his Berlin citizen-of-the-world address, stating, ““Partnership and cooperation among nations is not a choice; it is the one way, the only way, to protect our common security and advance our common humanity.

Is Obama a puppet of the hard core socialist George Sorros?

TIME TO FISH OR CUT BATE!

Earlier this week I wrote a blog suggesting that we withdraw now from Afghanistan. I have located a man, whom I usually do not agree with much of what he suggests that we do, but the latest blog he wrote is making more sense to me each day.
In Ex-Mayor Ed Koch's blog he notes as we all know, that OUR country is slipping into a deeper recession even though the stock market is having a Bear market rally this week.
Some of the drain, really lot of the drain on our economy is caused by the military expenditures to defend Iraq's who do not want us in their country, and to defeat a Taliban that was victorious over 6 divisions of Russian troops in the not too distant past.

What benefit is there to keep a military force in Iraq when we have already accomplished our stated goals of toppling the tyrant Saddam and restoring the Iraq military to a point where they can defend themselves.

There was a time when the Iraqis had one of the most feared armies in the Middle East. Having fought an eight-year war with Iran, the Iraqi army was battle-hardened. After disbanding the Iraqi army in 2003, we decided to put it back together. Now, six years later, it has hundreds of thousands of soldiers, trained by US personnel with US weapons, and it apparently still can't prevent the several thousands of al-Qaeda and Sunni terrorists from engaging in terrorist bombings.

What will make the Iraqis more capable of peacefully running their own country within the next 18 months? I believe the tribal killings there among the Shi'ites, Sunnis and Kurds based on historic animosities will continue after we leave - unless a repressive dictator akin to Saddam Hussein takes over. Rationally, Iraq should be divided into three separate countries - Kurdistan, Sunnistan and Shi'iastan - either totally independent from one another or, if acceptable to all, loosely confederated.

During the John Kennedy administration, his brother Bobby said a cogent sentence at least once. "We are not the policeman of the World"!
Since all the NATO "allies", except for Great Britian that has commited 2,000 additional troops to add to their 8,000 that are already there, have refused to send any more troops to the "killing fields" of Afghanistan. I believe it is wrong to ask our BRAVE troops to sacrifice their life and limb for a cause that even the neighbor Arab countries do not want to be involved in.We are looking for a GHOST, who may not even be in Afghanistan! Let Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the Emirates - provide the Afghans with military assistance. Why does it have to be primarily us?

Maybe it is time to withdraw our troops from all European Countries. EU states whose people really do not want us to be there in their countries in the first place. The expense of maintaining a military presence in Germany is prohibitive! We have saved Europe twice and the attitude toward the USA is mostly negative because we are still a free country that is hanging on to the free enterprise system. Not embracing Socialism like they have as yet!

The following in quotes is an excerpt from the Blog posted by Mayor Koch at NATIONAL REVIEW on line'

"We should not be spending billions in Afghanistan and Pakistan. If the governments of those countries cannot prevent the Taliban and al-Qaeda from taking over, our response to attacks upon the US emanating from there should be answered with bombs, not troops on the ground.I do not believe a country that accepted Taliban rule and defeated the undoubtedly brutal efforts of the Soviets to conquer it will ever accept the mores and political systems of the West.

We have a president with new ideas bent on changing the ways we provide for medical care, energy and education, while at the same time dealing with a financial crisis which is being compared with the Great Depression, and with budget deficits of more than a trillion dollars annually. Some of our leaders believe we can change the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan and make them democratic. That is a fantasy.

While President Obama does not believe we should be engaged in so-called "nation building," his statement on Face The Nation on March 29 with respect to our roles in both Afghanistan and Pakistan belies that. He said, "Our plan does not change the recognition of Pakistan as a sovereign government. We need to work with them and through them to deal with AL-Qaeda. But we have to hold them much more accountable. And we have to recognize that part of our task in working with Pakistan is not just military. It's also our capacity to build their capacity through civilian interventions, through development, through aid assistance. And that's part of what you're seeing - both in Afghanistan and Pakistan. I think it is fully resourcing a comprehensive strategy that doesn't just rely on bullets or bombs, but also relies on agricultural specialists, on doctors, on engineers, to help create an environment in which people recognize that they have much more at stake in partnering with us and the international community...."

I believe there is a limit to what even the US can do, particularly when Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq have political cultures that are totally foreign to us and offend our sense of fairness and justice. Wake up, America.

We haven't won the war in Iraq, and we won't win in Afghanistan or Pakistan in traditional terms. Al-Qaeda cells, according to the US government, are present in 62 countries. The battle will go on for decades to come. Wherever possible, our response should be to use aircraft, manned and drone. Neighboring countries should put their boots on the ground, as those countries have the most to lose. We should use our special forces to attack and kill the terrorist leadership and not expose our regular army to daily attack".

Think about it! This man makes sense. Our threat is the North Koreans and we are technically still at war after 60 years, We have a cease fire that could be broken at any moment with the launching of a ballistic missile!
An do not for one minute think that our southern border is not porous enough to allow terrorists from any nation that hates us to infiltrate the USA to detonate a dirty bomb!

GM BOND HOLDERS SLATED TO GET SHORT END OF THE STICK!

There are things behind the "closed" curtain of deception in the refusal of President Obama denying to lend more billions to GM. I do not disagree that it is correct to not throw good taxpayers money after bad, because the structure of the Union contracts is such that no matter how much money they get they will eventually be in receivership!
The problem I have is the devious way Obama and his "mob" are going about the forced bankruptcy. They will use the Bankruptcy code to break up the company.
It would be split into "good" parts and "bad" parts,(govt. language) with the stronger brands – such as Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC – sold to a new GM, financed by the government. This could potentially be completed under section 363 of the US bankruptcy code – which allows a judge to approve the sale of assets over creditor objections in an emergency. The emergncy that Obama and his Cabinet with the aid of an bias press has been calling the 2nd "great depression".

Rather than let the company just go bankrupt the Obama plan will set up a "puppet" executive board and management staff that will be marionette's for Obama, and the bond holders and stock holders will be left out in th cold.
This is the beginning of the seizing of private assets held by the taxpaying public and will not stop here I am afraid. Total government control of our main industries including the banks is in the future, I am a sure.

GM faces a challenge which proved tortuously difficult for Mr Wagoner – agreeing concessions from unions and bondholders.

The company has liabilities of $27.5bn in debt held by bondholders, and $20.4bn in obligations to a union-run health care fund. Bondholders have so far resisted GM proposals to write off two-thirds of their debt in exchange for equity, while the United Auto Workers (UAW) rejected plans for health care contributions to be paid in the company's stock, which has tanked over fears for GM's survival.

The UAW and bondholders have entered talks with the belief that GM was too big to be allowed to fail and that restructuring via Chapter 11 was not an option.

However, President Obama's comments appear to have changed that.

By confirming that the government will guarantee customer warranties, the major concern GM had about bankruptcy has been removed.

For creditors, bankruptcy raises the risk of serious losses in court. Despite the involvement of the president also meaning the complete collapse of GM is highly unlikely, some bonds in the company fell to record lows on Wednesday amid the heightened threat of bankruptcy.

The head of the UAW is the Ron Gettelfinger, who has won significant benefits for workers in the industry including generous wages, pensions, holidays and cost-of-living allowances.

However, Mr Gettelfinger, a notoriously rough negotiator, would have to agree to
far greater concessions at GM than those he struck at Ford – which included annual savings of $500m from cuts in bonuses, overtime pay and financial support for children's education – even before the health care fund for retires and workers is addressed.

In the bankruptcy court, the new GM could potentially end its present benefit schemes – leaving staff with smaller, leaner plans – if it can prove their expense impedes the company's future survival. It will not be hard as the facts already support that charge.

However, despite the potential benefits for GM of bankruptcy, it would likely be a messy process for President Obama and the company. The backing of some creditors would be needed, while any losses endured by the unions risks upsetting a key supporter base of the Democrat administration. My hope is that Bond and stock holders will raise loud objections to this devious government take over. They are being treated as chaff!

Industry experts in the US are questioning whether the threat of bankruptcy is realistic or simply a method designed to increase the urgency of negotiations,

Senator Carl Levin, a Michigan Democrat, said: "What they're trying to do is signal to the bondholders that 'Folks, you've got to come to the table'." He is the Senator who represents the Michigan voters!

Whatever the outcome for GM's restructuring – and Chrysler's alliance – the increased government involvement in the companies threatens long-term problems.

President Obama wants the car makers to pursue more environmentally friendly vehicles and return to profitability as quickly as possible. But these issues could prove contradictory. Sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and trucks dominate GM's best-sellers list, while the company's electric car, the Volt, was deemed "too expensive" by the US Treasury's own report. And from my point of view are dangerous to drive on the highways as semi-trucks get larger and larger!

The future of the US industry faces serious questions, but we won't have to wait long for many of the answers. And the end result is the Obama Administration is involved in a serious abuse of power with the obsequious Congress and a fawning Press aiding and abetting it!

EVEN EUROPEANS THINK OBAMA IS WRONG!

"In a time of economic calamity, it is expected that people look to their governments for answers. However, plausible solutions to the current economic crisis do not lie in more direct government intervention, which will prolong the crisis by adding more risk and uncertainty. Furthermore, governments' stimulus packages should not be based on handing out cash or shortsighted populism. Nor they should target one group or industry: Such packages should benefit the whole economy. To achieve maximum impact, the state should guarantee market rules and reassure market confidence.

In doing so, as President of the European Central Bank Jean-Claude Trichet pointed out, governments will have to "reassure [their] own people that [they] have an exit strategy, to reassure households that [they] are not putting in jeopardy the situation of the children, and to reassure businesses that what is done today is not done to the detriment of their own taxation in the years to come."
Source:Tony Blankley

"Yet economic freedom, like other freedoms, is always vulnerable. History demonstrates that this is never more so than when politicians espouse populist rhetoric, playing to people's fears and calling for more government interventions that promise a quick fix to whatever is deemed faulty in a complex economy. Politicians and leaders increasingly disparage free markets and push for counterproductive regulatory rules, increase costs on investment, or, worse, pursue protectionist policies that curtail global economic growth.
As the direct opposite of government interference and control, economic freedom is a threat only to those who want special privileges by pressuring societies to expand the size and weight of government intervention.

The world must not be discouraged from pursuing greater economic freedom. The G-20 should take this week's summit as an opportunity to renew their commitment to economic freedom.

"The massive programs designed to rescue the nation's financial sector are operating without adequate oversight, with vague goals and limited disclosure of their details to the taxpayers who are paying for them, government watchdogs told a Senate panel Tuesday.

The Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP, was launched in the midst of last fall's collapse of the nation's banking system and is designed to get loans flowing to businesses and individuals.

But "without a clearer explanation" about parts of the program, "it is not possible to exercise meaningful oversight over Treasury's actions," said Elizabeth Warren, a Harvard Law School professor who leads a special congressional oversight panel monitoring the TARP program. Her comments came in a Senate Finance Committee hearing on the bailout program.

Noting that TARP passed Congress six months ago, Warren said that her group has repeatedly called on the Treasury Department to provide a clear strategy for the program — and that "the absence of such a vision hampers effective oversight."

Although she has asked Treasury to explain its strategy, "Congress and the American public have no clear answer to that question."

TARP is one of several programs the government has launched in recent months to help ailing institutions and even bolster healthy banks. Warren singled out one program, known as TALF, for appearing to involve "substantial downside risk and high costs for the American taxpayer" while offering big potential rewards for private interests. She said the public information about that program was "contradictory, promoting substantial confusion."

The Government Accountability Office shared some of the same concerns, saying in a new report that "Treasury continues to struggle with developing an effective overall communication strategy" for the TARP program.

Beyond that, the GAO's report pointed out the difficulty in even measuring whether TARP is working. As of March 27, the Treasury Department had handed out more than $300 billion of the $700 billion in approved TARP funds, the GAO said".Source: MCCLATCHY NEWS SERVICE

Despite this cogent advice about what apparently has failed, and suggestions how to save and promote the present free enterprise system. President Obama and his cohorts in Congress are racing to shape the USA economy as a socialist economy with the government defining all matters related to our way of life.
A failed policy in Europe and Great Britain that they are suffering under at the present time. The welfare state that Obama wants for the USA is a backwards step away from the Constitution and Bill of Rights that is BAD for all but the neo-communists and hard core socialists who are cheering Obama and company to move fast before America wakes up!

"The US emphasis on a global fiscal stimulus creates an unfortunate and unnecessary tension. First, European governments have higher taxes and more social guarantees, so that there is already a large automatic fiscal stimulus when output falls. More fundamentally, European leaders rightly question the cost-benefit calculation of spending wildly to fight the recession. Ultimately the debts must be repaid, and many European countries already are facing grim fiscal calculations between the prospective costs of bailing out their own financial system (as well as weaker states in Europe), together with adverse demographics.

"President Obama should downplay this issue. The US is in no position to be lecturing anyone on macroeconomic policy right now. Of course the leaders must take steps to ensure that the world’s poor do not become collateral damage to the financial crisis. The head of the UN is quite right to worry about a collapse of aid in the face of growing fiscal constraints".

Obama nominee sees no "reason why sharia law would not be applied to govern a case in the United States"

Big fan of "transnational legal process"

On top of that, this Obama pick believes that "America's focus on the War on Terror [is] 'obsessive.'" And his list of countries that flagrantly disregard international law highlights North Korea, Iraq, and the U.S.A. -- which he collectively calls "the axis of disobedience."

"Obama's most perilous legal pick," by Meghan Clyne for the New York Post, March 30 (thanks to Doc Washburn):

JUDGES should interpret the Constitution according to other nations' legal "norms." Sharia law could apply to disputes in US courts. The United States constitutes an "axis of disobedience" along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq.

Those are the views of the man on track to become one of the US government's top lawyers: Harold Koh.

President Obama has nominated Koh -- until last week the dean of Yale Law School -- to be the State Department's legal adviser. In that job, Koh would forge a wide range of international agreements on issues from trade to arms control, and help represent our country in such places as the United Nations and the International Court of Justice.

It's a job where you want a strong defender of America's sovereignty. But that's not Koh. He's a fan of "transnational legal process," arguing that the distinctions between US and international law should vanish.

What would this look like in a practical sense? Well, California voters have overruled their courts, which had imposed same-sex marriage on the state. Koh would like to see such matters go up the chain through federal courts -- which, in turn, should look to the rest of the world. If Canada, the European Human Rights Commission and the United Nations all say gay marriage should be legal -- well, then, it should be legal in California too, regardless of what the state's voters and elected representatives might say.

He even believes judges should use this "logic" to strike down the death penalty, which is clearly permitted in the US Constitution.

The primacy of international legal "norms" applies even to treaties we reject. For example, Koh believes that the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child -- a problematic document that we haven't ratified -- should dictate the age at which individual US states can execute criminals. Got that? On issues ranging from affirmative action to the interrogation of terrorists, what the rest of the world says, goes.

Including, apparently, the world of radical imams. A New York lawyer, Steven Stein, says that, in addressing the Yale Club of Greenwich in 2007, Koh claimed that "in an appropriate case, he didn't see any reason why sharia law would not be applied to govern a case in the United States."

A spokeswoman for Koh said she couldn't confirm the incident, responding: "I had heard that some guy . . . had asked a question about sharia law, and that Dean Koh had said something about that while there are obvious differences among the many different legal systems, they also share some common legal concepts."

Score one for America's enemies and hostile international bureaucrats, zero for American democracy.

Koh has called America's focus on the War on Terror "obsessive." In 2004, he listed countries that flagrantly disregard international law -- "most prominently, North Korea, Iraq, and our own country, the United States of America," which he branded "the axis of disobedience.[...Source: Jihad watch.com

With this in mind I decided to re-print the blog I did in 2006 as it explains my feelings and more important what the feelings are of the leader of over one billion Catholics World wide!

THE LAST HOPE FOR RELIGIOUS FREEDOM
THE ONLY PLACE THAT THIS BLOGGER BELIEVES WILL RESIST THE RELENTLESS WAVE OF ISLAMIC INTOLERANCE FOR OTHER RELIGIONS IS HERE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
MOST OF THE FACTS AND QUOTES I WILL WRITE IN THIS BLOG ARE FROM A CONFERENCE IN CASTLE GONDALFO, ITALY THAT WAS ATTENDED BY POPE BENEDICT XVI AND FATHER JOSEPH FESSIO. FATHER FESSIO IS A CLOSE FRIEND AND STUDENT OF BENEDICT XVI. THE BASIS FOR THIS REPORT COMES FROM A BLOG PUBLISHED BY HUGH HEWITT. I HAVE TAKEN WORDS OUT OF CONTEXT FOR BREVITY, BUT NO CHANGES WERE MADE IN CONTENT.
THE CONFERENCE WAS HELD TO DISCUSS THE FUTURE OF CHRISTIANITY AND THE ISLAMIC FAITH. THE CONCLUSIONS ARE NOT VERY ENCOURAGING. AT A RATE OF 2.1 PEOPLE PER HOUSEHOLD IN EUROPE THERE IS DECLINING CHRISTIAN AND JEWISH POPULATION WITH A GROWING MUSLIM POPULATION DUE TO EUROPEAN OPEN BORDER IMMIGRATION POLICIES. MOST OF THE IMMIGRANTS COME FROM TURKEY AND AFRICA. MORE MUSLIMS WERE BORN IN FRANCE IN 2005 THAN TO TRADITIONAL FRENCH BACKGROUND PEOPLE. THE CONFERENCE, USING DEMOGRAPHIC FIGURES, PREDICTED THAT IN FOUR YEARS IN HOLLAND 4 MAJOR CITIES(POPULATION BASED) WOULD HAVE MUSLIM MAJORITIES.
HISTORY SHOWS THAT MANY CITIES WHICH WERE CHRISTIAN HAVE BECOME MUSLIM WHERE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM NO LONGER EXISTS. THERE ARE 98 ISLAMIC COUNTRIES AND 97 HAVE NO RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. ALGERIA, MOROCCO,LYBIA AND EGYPT ARE EXAMPLES OF COUNTRIES THAT WERE CHRISTIAN BUT ARE NOW ISLAMIC, AND PRACTICING CHRISTIANITY OR JUDAISM ARE NOT ALLOWED! YOU CAN'T EVEN BRING A BIBLE INTO MOST AFRICAN COUNTRIES.
MUSLIM RELIGION IS BASED UPON GODS WORD TO MOHAMMAD WHICH CANNOT BE CHANGED OR ADAPTED IN ANY WAY. IT IS BELIEVED THAT THE WORDS IN THE KORAN ARE THE WORDS OF GOD, NOT THE WORDS OF APOSTLES LIKE MATTHEW, MARK AND LUKE AS REVEALED TO THEM BY DIVINE INSPIRATION IN THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE.
THE POPE WAS ASKED: "CAN CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM ACCOMMODATE EACH OTHER." POPE BENEDICT'S ANSWER WAS AS FOLLOWS. "SINCE MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT THE KORAN IS THE WORD OF GOD GIVEN DIRECTLY TO MOHAMMAD IT CANNOT BE CHANGED AS IT IS THERE FOR ETERNITY AS GOD IS. THEREFORE, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY THAT IT MAY BE INTERPRETED OR ADAPTED TO CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE ,INCLUDING THE DIGNITY THAT WE CHRISTIANS ASCRIBE TO WOMEN. ISLAM IS STUCK WITH A TEXT(KORAN) THAT CANNOT BE ADAPTED OR EVEN INTERPRETED AS CHRISTIANS AND JEWS HAVE DONE WITH THEIR BIBLES THROUGH THE YEARS. THE WORD GOD SUPPOSEDLY GAVE TO MOHAMMAD ACCORDING TO THE TEACHINGS AND WRITINGS OF ISLAM IS TO CONQUER THE WORLD OR RENDER EVERYONE SUBJECT TO THE "ONE TRUE RELIGION."IT IS A RELIGION OF MISSIONARY CONVERSION. THE ISLAMICS BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE OF OUR RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE ,ESPECIALLY IN EUROPE, THEY WILL OVERTAKE YOU. THEY HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DO IT SINCE THE SEVENTH CENTURY. THEY BELIEVE THAT ONCE MUSLIMS BECOME THE MAJORITY POPULATION IN ANY COUNTRY THEY WILL ELIMINATE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, AND EUROPE IS WELL ON THE WAY TO THIS SITUATION.
IT IS LONG PAST THE TIME THAT OUR LEADERS AND FUTURE LEADERS OF THIS COUNTRY STOP A COURSE OF APPEASEMENT AND ACCOMMODATION WITH ISLAMISTS. THEIR RELIGIOUS FERVOR HAS COMMITTED THEM TO CONVERT OR DESTROY ALL "INFIDELS". THIS IS A FIGHT FOR OUR LIBERTY AND WAY OF LIFE, AND NO MEANS TO WIN SHOULD BE SUBJECT TO POLITICAL CORRECTNESS OR WE SHALL LOOSE ,AS I AM SURE EUROPE WILL. ONE THING THAT MIGHT HELP IS TO FORBID IMMIGRATION FROM THE 97 ISLAMIC COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT ALLOW RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. I WON'T HOLD MY BREATH ON THIS ONE THANKS TO OUR "TWISTED" STATE DEPARTMENT.

If the Senate confirms this travesty of a man, you can throw the Constitution away! Only in an Obama administration, which I believe is the worst prepared to lead a Republic like ours, but is prepared and ready to lead us into Godless Socialism could a man with suchfeelings even be nominated. He must be stopped or GOD help US!

DOES OBAMA PLAN ON AFGHANISTAN BEING OUR NEXT VIET NAM?

The invasion of Iraq made sense to me because the tyrant Saddam was killing his own people and was trying, maybe succeeding, in making weapons of mass destruction. The gassing of thousands of Kurds proved he had poison gas.
But Afghanistan is a different matter!

The Russians sent 300,000n troops and Hind helicopters into the mountains of Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban and lost! This was because our CIA and Defense Department supplied stinger ground to air missiles that neutralized the helicopters and developed the IED explosive device that took a heavy toll on the ground troops.
And there are the mountains! In Iraq most of thee fighting was done in the dessert and cities. But in Iraq the Taliban is hiding in the mountains and gain refuge by escaping across the border into Pakistan.

In World War II the Italian campaign proved the difficulty in fighting in mountainous terrain. In the 19 months of fighting the Germans we lost 19,475 killed in action, 60% of them were in the 5th Army that fought for 20 months before defeating the Germans.

We have less than 33,000 troops in Afghanistan to fight the Taliban that now has weapons to kill and demoralize the men fighting there. It is a no win situation that Obama wants to get the USA into.

He was and is a strong enemy of the military and do not let his mantra that the Taliban is our main enemy. The Al Qaeda international organization is our enemy. Besides the fact that Afghanistan will become a "killing field" for our military. Obama has already said essentially that victory is not his objective. He has said he would talk to the leaders of "moderate" Taliban leaders about a negotiated peace!

Before he gets us into another debacle like Vietnam, we should bring the troops home and station them along the border between Mexico and the USA.
Thee retired Assistant of the U.S.Dea, Michael Braun, has stated that both the Hezbollah and Al Qaeda have made deals with the Mexican drug lords to smuggle weapons and personal into the USA using the same routes that they have used to smuggle drugs and illegals by the millions over our borders. This is a real treat that must be addressed!

OBAMA DUMPS WAGONER LEAVES UNION BE!

Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.” —Ronald Reagan

IN A STUNNING ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY, President and CEO of General Motors was forced to resign after his meeting with the Obama "stooges" who told him Friday that he had to go!

This action is nothing but a pay off of a $50 million dollar debt to the Unions, who still have not agreed to any cuts in salary and benefits at the Chrysler Corporation as mandated by the multi-million dollar deal that the Congress and Obama stipulated in the money bail out.

The immediate reaction from the Governor of Michigan was that Wagoner was a "scape goat"! I believe he is the sacrificial lamb to the Unions as you will see from the following report of what he did to try and save Gm.

"Governor Jennifer Granholm noted that Wagoner has worked for GM for more than 30 years and was trying to turn the company around. She said that Wagoner agreed to step aside for the good of the carmaker and its workers.

By all accounts, Wagoner made progress in fixing GM. While CEO, he cut its U.S. work force from 177,000 to roughly 92,000 today.

Wagoner also closed factories; shed the unprofitable Oldsmobile brand; globalized GM’s engineering, manufacturing and design to save billions; and led a resurgence in quality and performance of its long-neglected cars. In 2007, the company reached a landmark agreement with the United Auto Workers that shifted massive retiree health care costs to a union-run trust and ushered in a $14-per-hour wage for new hires, about half that of a current laborer".

For this he was told by the Federal Government to resign! Once again the Socialist leaning administration of Barrack Obama has reached it's bloody hands around the neck of private enterprise and strangled the lively hood of another hard working executive.

As Obama continues his onslaught on the private sector this is another demonstration that Unions will get a free pass when ever the "spendulus" Obama administration can find an executive to demonize.

In announcing today, Obama said he will deny more funding to Gm and Chrysler unless they sufficiently restructure the company, but as you can see from this quote from The New Media Journal.com. He says not one disparaging word about the Unions failure to concede anything to help save their jobs!
". In an interview with CBS' "Face the Nation" broadcast Sunday, Obama said the companies must do more to receive additional financial aid from the government. "We think we can have a successful US auto industry. But it's got to be one that's realistically designed to weather this storm and to emerge -- at the other end -- much more lean, mean and competitive than it currently is," Obama said. Instead, the administration has decided to give Chrysler 30 days to work out a deal with Fiat and GM 60 days to come up with a new restructuring plan. Both companies will be provided with "some working capital" during those time periods. A senior official said, "bankruptcy is not the goal," although there may be a "role for a court supervised process".

Is there any wonder why companies are moving off shore with the strangle hold Unions have on the products USA companies try to sell the world? The Germans, Japanese, Swedish all make better, longer lasting cars at a price the average American buy, because they do not allow unions to add thousands of dollars to the price of the cars for inflated, bloated benefits and retirement.

And if Americans do not speak out loudly against this tyranny we will find ourselves in an economic hole that even our grand children cannot dig them selves out of!
GOD help Us!

WHAT AWAITS THE OBAMA TEAM AT THE G20 IN LONDON

Not only are radial groups planning to demonstrate, and if restrained by the "bobbies", are prepared to turn violent with brick throwing and property destruction.
All the protests are being orchestrated by a suspended professor Chris Knight, who organized "Operation G20 Meltdown" in a basement London Pub. He is a professor of Anthropology at East London University, and his assistant, with help from student radical groups. They plan to encamp out side the Excel Center in London's Dockyards.

Along with this radical professor are the usual assortment of modern day neo-communist anarchists. A coalition of more than 100 trades unions, charities, churches and pressure groups that marched in London yesterday under the banner of "Jobs, justice and climate."

Tens of thousands of protesters expected to rally in London The groups include the TUC, the Salvation Army, Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, Oxfam, Tear Fund, the National Pensioners Convention, Stop Climate Chaos, Action Aid and the Muslim Council of Britain. Sounds to me like the group backing The Daily Kos!

Their message to the G20 summit is that "only just, fair and sustainable policies can lead the world out of recession". What about saving the Countries who provide billions to the Third World Countries run by despots and dictators?

They want the British government to invest in green jobs and public services, and push for "a transparent and accountable process for reforming the international financial system". This should resonate well with President Obama, since he apparently wants to take the USA down the same road to Socialism that Great Britain has followed with disastrous results for 10 years!

A mixed group of anti-capitalists, environmentalists and anarchists who have joined together for the G20 protest will meet at four London stations and march to the Bank of England where they will throw a "mass street party" and hang effigies of bankers including Sir Fred Goodwin, the former head of RBS". Ahead of the summit, Mr. Brown unveiled plans for a new crackdown on tax havens across the world. Sounds like Obama and the US Congress!

Lord Owen, the former Labour foreign secretary, also warned that unless inflation was controlled, Britain's economy might have to be constrained by the IMF. Sounds to me like Obama should listen to this man!
A leaked communique mentioned a figure of $2 trillion(USA) – £1.4 billion,as a proposal for spending by G20 nations by Britain, as summit host, that still had to be formally agreed. According to the leak, this would boost growth by two per cent and employment by 19 million.

The draft also suggested that Britain wanted the G20 to come up with a target for global growth in 2010 – although no figure was mentioned.

The document stated: "We are determined to restore growth, resist protectionism and to reform our markets and institutions for the future.

"We believe that an open world economy, based on the principles of the market, effective regulation and strong global institutions, can ensure sustainable globalisation with rising well being for all." I added the italics for emphasis!
Insiders at Der Spiegel(Berlin Germany), said the magazine had obtained the leak from German government sources.

A Prime Minister spokesman at Number 10 Downy, said the £1.4 trillion figure did not amount to "extra money" which Britain was calling for governments to spend to try to rescue economies which have been crippled by the credit crunch, but referred instead to estimates of expenditure which had already been made.

Mr Brown has faced claims that he wants to use the Budget, on 22 April, to unveil a big new fiscal stimulus for Britain while Alistair Darling, the Chancellor, and Mervyn King, the Bank of England Governor, are advocating caution.

The Prime Minister wants a main focus of the summit to be a clampdown on tax havens, with a three-point plan aimed at building on moves which have already seen Switzerland and Liechtenstein agree to abide by new transparency standards.

Britain will push for support on new moves to use tax incentives to stop companies and individuals trading with those who are resident in "non-compliant jurisdictions", Government sources said, while there will also be new measures requiring companies to disclose more details of dealings with tax havens. Sounds to this blogger like a World government body that supersedes individual government laws!

The third part of the proposed clampdown involves a review of investment policies of institutions such as the IMF and retail development banks with a view to cutting the funds available to tax havens.

Amid the frantic preparations for the summit Lord Owen, foreign secretary under Jim Callaghan in the late 1970s, uses an article in today's Sunday Telegraph to warn that Britain's economy might have to be subject to "IMF disciplines" – which would require painful public spending cuts – to halt a "precipitate loss of confidence".

If President Obama submits to his type of World government. You can kiss OUR CONSTITUTION good bye!
