THE SELECTIVE COMPASION OF BRIAN DEPALMA

In 1989, fourteen years after American forces retreated from Vietnam, and the history of the misery of the boat people trying to escape Communism was already written. Brian DePalma took it upon himself to make the movie "Casualties of War". His movie was an indictment of the U.S. military atrocities allegedly committed against the Vietnamese people.
DePalma is a well known leftist who apparently detests the military and has now made another scurrilous movie about atrocities committed by American forces in Iraq.
His movie, "Redacted" was premiered in Venice recently to shocked audiences. It tells the story not of the beheading of an an American Journalist while being video taped, but of the alleged rape of a 14 year old girl, and the murder of her family. The film left out none of the gory details.
The hypocrisy of this man knows no bounds. When he made the film about Vietnam in 1989 the genocide in Cambodia had already taken place by Pol Pots thugs. They killed between 2 and 3 million Cambodians who allegedly had ties to American troops or just because they were in the way! Nor did he portray the estimated 165,000 Vietnamese who died in the Communist "re-education" camps.
The loss of life at sea by the fleeing boat people is unknown, but estimates in the thousands are not unusual considering the rickety vessels they were using to flee the genocide in Vietnam. Millions more made it to the United States with the aid of our planes, boats and ships.

None of this was even allude to in his "Casualties of War" film, and the basis for his film "Redacted" is the internet! Undoubtedly from leftist sources that dominate cyber space with Bush and military haters like DePalma.

Using graphic images found on the internet for his film. How many other such graphic images could he have found from Iraq, ones that did not relate to an isolated brutal crime committed by Americans but were of those committed by the Saddam Hussein regime? Might that have offered context? The mass graves, the amputees, the pictures of some of the thousands of dead Kurds in the villages attacked with nerve gas. How many graphic images might DePalma have found of mass executions, beheadings and atrocities committed routinely by Al Qaeda in Iraq and other insurgencies?

PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS OF THE COUNTRY

THE RECENT DECISION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE TO RECOGNIZE WICCA AS A RELIGION IS A STEP TOWARD PAGAN AMERICA.
This is not a diatribe against people who worship nature and reject organized religious beliefs. In America they still have the right to worship whatever they want.
The blog is written to give this blogger opinion how these nature loving/worshiping have been seduced by the anti-religious element of America.

It is not easy to draw a clear distinction between magic and witchcraft. Both are concerned with the producing of effects beyond the natural powers of man by agencies other than the Divine (cf. OCCULT ART, OCCULTISM). But in witchcraft, as commonly understood, there is involved the idea of a diabolical pact or at least an appeal to the intervention of the spirits of evil.

In such cases this supernatural aid is usually invoked either to produce the death of some obnoxious person, or to awaken the passion of love in those who are the objects of desire, or to call up the dead, or to bring calamity or impotence upon enemies, rivals, and fancied oppressors.
These represent some of the principal purposes that witchcraft has been made to serve at nearly all periods of the world's history.
In the traditional belief, not only of the dark ages, but of post-Reformation times, the witches or wizards addicted to such practices entered into a compact with Satan, adjured Christ and the Sacraments, observed "the witches' sabbath" — performing infernal rites which often took the shape of a parody of the Mass or the offices of the Church — paid Divine honor to the Prince of Darkness, and in return received from him preternatural powers.

Their beliefs include tormenting their chosen victims, while an imp or "familiar spirit" was placed at their disposal, and willing to perform any service that might be needed to further their nefarious purposes.
The belief in witchcraft and its practice seem to have existed among all primitive peoples. Both in ancient Egypt and in Babylonia it played a conspicuous part, as existing records plainly show. It will be sufficient to quote a short section from the recently recovered Code of Hammurabi (about 2000 B.C.). It is there prescribed.
The law of the Twelve Tables already assumes the reality of magical powers, and the terms of the frequent references in Horace to Canidia allow us to see the intense hatred and anger in which such sorceresses were held.

Todays Wiccans deny that they adhere to the principles of the Witch Craft, and proclaim that they are a combination of Pagans,
who have no central theological precepts or leadership. In place of the bible they have the "Book of Shadows".

As practised by Gerald Gardner and his followers, Wicca was and is a secretive and exclusive society of religious witchcraft, with entry to the society only gained through initiation by another Wiccan. However since the 1960s other, non-initiated people have adopted the term "Wicca" to describe their beliefs and practices, which vary from those of traditional, lineaged Wicca to a greater or lesser extent. Wiccans without a lineage to Gardner can be considered a subset of the Eclectic Wiccans, "who are liberal in their practices, following the technique of using anything that works no matter where it came from."[4] Eclectic Wiccans now significantly outnumber lineaged Wiccans, and their beliefs and practices tend to be much more varied.[5]
In the Eclectic Wiccan movement there is much more variation in religious beliefs, and secrecy and organisational structure play a less important role. Generally, Eclectic Wiccans will adopt similar ritual structures and ethical principles to Traditional Wiccans. A few Eclectic Wiccans neither consider themselves witches nor practice magic.

Throughout most branches of Wicca, all sexual orientations are considered healthy and positive, provided that individual sexual relationships are healthy and loving. Sexual orientation is therefore not considered an issue. Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people are almost always welcomed in individual communities, covens, study groups, and circles. Many LGBT Neopagans were initially attracted to Neopagan religions because of this inclusion, in which their relationships are seen on an equal footing. Sometimes their desire is more specifically to move away from what they see as homophobic pressure in their original religion.
In support of this philosophy, many Wiccans cite the Charge of the Goddess, which says "All acts of Love and Pleasure are My rituals".[1] Therefore all forms and expressions of sexuality, as long as they are otherwise healthy and consensual, are accepted.

For this reason alone the Wicca movement is to be recognized as a treat to the Judeo-Christian America.

Special thanks to Wikapedia for the information on Wicca.

ARE WE EXPERIENCING CIVIL WAR #2?

. Please pray for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm’s way around the world, and for their families, especially those of our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, who have died in defense of American liberty while prosecuting the war with Jihadistan.

In 1860 the southern states and a few" border" states decided that the only alternative to giving up their way of life, that included slavery, was to declare independence from the United States. They formed the Confederate States of America, and elected Jefferson Davis as their President. Then they attacked Fort Sumter, and the rest is the history of the bloodiest Civil War in this hemisphere.

During the war President Abraham Lincoln made a speech at the site of the battle of Gettysburg, and he spoke these words: "that the US government was founded “...of the people, by the people and for the people.” President Lincoln also commented that as long as this remained true, that government “...shall not perish from the Earth.”

Unfortunately, we have over 100 cities in over 30 states that are blatantly ignoring the law, as did the South in 1860, because they believe the immigration laws are unjust.

I am referring to the cities that have passed laws and regulations declaring their cities are "sanctuaries" for illegal aliens. In various ways these cities are refusing to abide by the immigration laws that are presently in force.

The advocates of open borders and amnesty for illegals failed to pass legislation in Congress that would accomplish their goals, so they are disobeying the immigration laws.

The media, as would be expected from the leftist mind sets running them, has made little or no mention of this blatant violation of Federal law.

Unfortunately, the words of Joseph Stalin: "We will destroy the U.S. from within" may be accomplished by the cities and states that incrementally are waging their own "civil" war against the law of the land.

ATHEISM AND THE AMERICAN LEFT

There is a concerted movement in the American left to replace the traditional religious beliefs with Secular humanism.

This new form of quasi religion,Secular Humanism, denies the existence of God. They replace God with Humanity, and accept that Man is the master of the universe. The only object to be worshiped is man.
Examples of this animus toward American religious beliefs is exemplified in the fact that one of the leftist secular humanists, Christopher Hitchens, has written at least three books lately arguing for the discarding of Religious beliefs. His "God is Not Great, How Religion Poisons Everything and The God Delusion,"are three perfect examples.
.
The present day Humanist ignores contrary rational discussion, because of the self ahbsorbed assumption that whatever their reasoning told them, had to be the truth! They choose to ignore anything that doesn't place mans decisions as the canon of materialist reasoning. Since man is the only object to be worshipped If it feels right it must be right!

This attitude lead to the murder of tens of millions of people by Hitler, Stalin,Mao and PolPot. Now we see it in the far left wing of the Democrat party. The advocates of unlimited abortion, euthanasia, cloning of "human Beings" and elimination of our National sovereignty to the UN are all precepts of Secular Humanism, and so is the politically correct concept of "free speech".

This is a fight for the very soul of our Country and there is no option for surrender in this battle!
In Germany today there are jail terms handed down for "crimes" of hate speech for publicly claiming abortion is murder. We are not too far from this in the USA.
