THE BIG LIE ABOUT BIG OIL

It appears to me that the majority of Americans have not considered what the stampede to eliminate OUR "habitual" use of oil will have on our ability to defend ourselves and the way of life that we all take for granted.

Predictably, when consumers, oblivious to the realities of the global oil market and everything else involved with delivering gasoline at the pump, begin to complain, politicians begin to think about regulating gasoline prices. It doesn’t work, never will and it will likely worsen the recession we’re now in.
It was tried by the Carter administration in the 1980's, and was a full-scale disaster. Between 1978 and 1980, thanks in part to the overthrow of the Shah of Iran, crude oil prices more than doubled from about $9 a barrel to over $21. Back then, Carter was advocating solar energy, conservation, synthetic fuels, and other “solutions”, but they didn’t work then and they won’t work now.His efforts resulted in around the block lines to get gasoline for our cars, and many angry people.
In terms of our enormous energy needs, Congress and the White House are seriously mismanaging and misleading America.

The Democrats like to blame "Big Oil", and Hillary Clinton has proclaimed that if elected she will "seize" the profits of the Oil Industry. An industry that already pays an average of 28 billion dollars a year into the tax cesspool!

Energy is the “predominant"world resource.” Without it everything including our National military forces slows, stalls, and grinds to a halt. The nation’s economy is entirely dependent on our ability to function in a world where oil, natural gas, and coal are global commodities. They don’t have a nationality. They have a price. And that is set by supply and demand, not the federal government. We are losing the battle for natural energy while Russia, Communist China and Venezuela are gaining prominence and power.
The government is literally wasting billions on “alternative forms” of energy and “climate change.” It should be encouraging the building of more refineries( none for 40 years), more nuclear fission, clean coal or gas-fired plants to generate electricity, more pipelines. It should be eliminating the restrictions on accessing oil, gas, and coal within our borders and thereby reducing the need of those sources from beyond our nation’s borders.

While we tinker with fossil fuels, the Russians announced last week hat they will build four new nuclear power plants to boost their energy production. The Russians already have ten nuclear plants that deliver over 23,000 giga- watts of electricity.They already have so much oil drilled and extracted on their own soil to sell it to most Countries in Europe. Here at home we fiddle to Al Gore's tune of Global Warming while Not Rome, but our way of life is being ignited. Will we allow it to burn?

CHICAGO 1968 REDUX?

Forty years ago in Chicago, Illinois it took over 30,000 army troops, police, national guardsmen and secret service personnel to quell the riots outside the Convention Center.During the two days of rioting 119 law enforcement people were injured, and over 100 "peaceniks" were injured while resisting those who were attempting to stop their rioting in the streets.

As we get closer to the Convention in Denver when 4050 delegates and 850 "Super" delegates decide who will be the Democrat candidate for President. It becomes clear that the deciding factor in who gets the nomination will be the "Supers".

The only thing super about these human beings is that they have the capacity to throw the nomination to the candidate who has at the time of the convention the fewest delegates.

These are political operatives. Insiders who may have their own agenda, separate from the people who went to the polls and choose their candidate. Many are past elected officials, Bill Clinton is a super delegate, mayors, governors and party operatives may dictate how the nomination is determined.

In this situation there appears to be a threat to the City of Denver and the people who live in that city, if the presumptive candidate, Barack Hussein Obama, is not nominated. The race card has already been put on the table! The furor over Obam's close association with Black activist pastor Reverend Wright brought it out.

When supporters and Obama himself claimed the attack on Wright and Obama's closeness to the anti-white pastor was racially motivated, it became obvious the supporters of Obama were willing to place race above character.

This alone would be cause for concern to the voters, but the real implied threat of violence on National television by both a Black Mayor and Black Governor was the match that may light the fires of unrest.

The first Black governor of Virginia and current Mayor of Richmond, L. Douglas Wilder, recently on “Face the Nation” predicted – and could be interpreted as actually calling for – riots in the streets if the Clinton campaign were to overturn an Obama lead through the use of Super Delegates. Here are his exact words: “If the Super Delegates intervene and get in the way of it, and say, ‘Oh, no, we're going to determine what's best,’ there will be chaos at the convention...And if you think 1968 was bad, you watch: 2008 will be worse.”

If a White Governor or Mayor said the Whites would riot if a Black was nominated. The Press, TV and air waves would be filled with demands for his/her resignation!

It is appropriate on this Good Friday to contemplate the sacrifice that the people in Denver may be forced to accept if the prophecy of these two Black "leaders" comes to pass!

GLOBAL WARMING'S REAL AGENDA

While shopping this morning I stopped by the bakery to pick up some fresh Kaiser dinner rolls. The rolls were priced at 62 cents last week, and this morning they were a nickle more. The lady behind the counter told me they raised the price on all bakery products, because the cost of flower had been raised by their wholesaler.

I also bought some corn flakes and once again noticed an increased price! The reason being, a sack of flour has risen from $28.00 to $40.00 in the last few months, and it will continue to rise. Experts predict that the cost of living will raise 30% in the next few years because of the bio-fuel stampede

Finally, I realized what I was experiencing. The cost of grain and wheat products was going up because they are getting more scarce as food stuffs, due to the government subsidies being offered to farmers as inducement to sell their corn, grain, soy beans and wheat to the new barons of energy. The bio-fuels industry! Ethanol, a fuel much less efficient in producing energy and twice as expensive to produce as gasoline, has been adopted as the "savior" of our ongoing energy crisis. It costs $6.00 to produce a gallon of ethanol, and you and I pay the extra $3.00 in government subsidies, aka taxes!

or over forty years the Democrats have bowed to the new Deity in the United States, Ecology, and have denied all attempts to build new refineries or allow drilling for more sources of crude oil off the Gulf Coast or in the wasteland tundra of Alaska.

During these 40 years our population has exploded, both legally and illegally. Instead of the 200 million inhabitants we had in 1968 we now have over 300 million.

All these people consume the life blood of our economy and way of life---OIL..

It will come as no surprise that many people believe the present form of government we have is flawed. But what is apparently not understood, is these people have decided that we could be better served if we didn't have to make so many decisions for ourselves. They, the intelligentsia, bureaucrats, internationalists, socialists and communists have a plan for us.

Dumb down the average person by introducing multiculturalism , political correctness, and less emphasis on learning in Public schools. The end result being to eradicate individual thought and the willingness to do for yourself, not wait for some one to do it for you.

To do this they have a willing accompanist in the Democrat party. The party that brought us the Great Society, affirmative action and Political Correctness now wants to take more of your hard earned money for fodder for the global warming scam.

Putting aside the fact that the Earths average temperature has only risen 1 degree in the last 100 years. The air pollution is a problem in the world. It is a real problem because the two Countries that contribute the most air pollution, Communist China and India, were exempted from Kyoto!

Air drifts from Continent to Continent as Chernobyl proved. Thus all the drastic measures being done here in the USA will be for naught if the exemptions remain.

Big oil companies are Bush and Cheney's friends. Big solar, big wind, big farming, and the big Sierra Club are the Democrats' friends. Global warming makes it easy for them to divert the country's priorities from oil development, to alternate fuel, even when it is not needed for the next 100 years. That’s right. We have enough domestic oil resources to last the country for the next 100 years if only we were allowed to use them by Congressional Democrats. Are we just a bunch of sheep to be moved along by the iron staff of the Leftist? Or will we vote next November to stop the slippery slope to Socialism that both Obama and Hillary offer?

RESPONSE TO A LAME EXCUSE

With the air waves, television and print media full of spin concerning Presidential candidate Barack Obama's speech yesterday in which he defended not only his 20 year association with Reverend Wright, but the Pastor himself. Guilt by association is not one of my preferred designations, but sitting in a church pew for twenty years hearing the anti-American hate sermons by Rev. Wright does stretch ones ability to accept that he didn't agree with what he heard.

It is appropriate to address the issues behind the furor. Reverend Wright has been exposed as a hateful, Black Activist, via video tapes taken within his Church while he was preaching. Not on just one occasion but numerous times has he expressed his distaste for "White America".He even sells the videos of the hate filled, cursing "sermons" He has given.

This man of the "cloth" has taken religion to the depths of hatred and separatism with his curse words, racial baiting, and he has been exposed for the bigot he claims we white people are.There is no place in a church puppet for the swearing and hate speech Rev. Write entertains his congregation on a weekly basis.

The main thrust of all the arguments that seem to be driving people like Wright, Farrakhan, and a long list of Black Activists, is slavery.

Slavery was ended during the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln( 143 years ago) at the cost of 620,000 lives. Over half that number died to free the slaves as white members of the Union army!If Reverend Wright wants to talk about slavery he should talk about the Sudan and other Countries where slavery still exists.

Never the less, demagogues like Reverend Wright keep agitating their congregations with references to their oppression by the "white man'. He had these things to say in the pulpit before a full church:

– September 2001: “We have supported state terrorism against the Palestinians and black South Africans, and now we are indignant because of stuff we have done overseas is now brought back into our own backyard. America is chickens coming home to roost.”
– April 2003: “The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes three-strike laws and wants them to sing God Bless America. No! No No! God damn America … for killing innocent people. God damn America for threatening citizens as less than humans. God damn America as long as she tries to act like she is God and supreme.”

There is no way to spin this type of hate! If Barack Obama feels the Reverend Wright is being used to get at him, and supports a man with such hateful views. He is not the "Change" he promises he will deliver if elected President. He is nothing less than a man who coddles license!

The Contradiction of Attitudes Toward Kosovo and Iraq

During the Clinton administration the USA waged war in Kosovo against the Serbians to help the Muslim Albanians. We did this without first obtaining a mandate from the UN. It all began with the bombing of Belgrade in 1999.

Americans were told it was a humanitarian mission to stop genocide, but it was not, nor is it now what we were led to believe.In fact the Muslim Albanians are killing Serbian women and children on a regular basis.

The Serbs are predominantly Catholic. The Albanians are over 90% Muslims. I guess Secretary Albright and her minions in the State Department convinced President Clinton that they were all moderate Muslims.

At any rate, we bombed the H##l out of their Country, and the NATO force mopped up the remaining Serbian fighters on the ground.NATO is still there 7 years later.

In Kosovo, more than 250,000 Serbians were driven out from their homes by Albanian separatists. Presently, Serbians are living in Kosovo as if in a ghetto. After the NATO occupation, more than 150 ancient Orthodox churches were destroyed by Albanians in Kosovo. There are currently no repair works. Serbians are living there in constant fear. Serbian children cannot go to school without adults.

After NATO's occupation, hundreds of Serbians were killed in Kosovo. More than 3,000 Serbians are "missing" in Kosovo (that means "killed"). There are no investigations, and no News stories about the "civil war that is being waged.

Presently, Albanians are confiscating Serbia's federal, social, and private property. The occupation's forces in Kosovo, the so-called peacekeeping forces, ignored Resolution 1244 of the Security Council of the UN. They misrepresent the current situation in Kosovo in its reports to the UN General Secretary. Today, Kosovo is a crucial point in the drug trade, which traffics heroin from Afghanistan and Pakistan to Europe.

It would appear that Clinton and Albright's war has produced unintended consequences that the anti-Bush/Cheney crowd has failed to notice.

Because of the position establish by the Clinton/Albright administration, the USA has recognized Kosovo as an independent State, and last month granted diplomatic recognition of Kosovo as a separate state entity. The reaction was swift and radical. A group of Serbian youths set the US Embassy on fire!

According to latest reports, over 100 Serbs were wounded in the worst outbreak of violence in the region since Kosovo declared independence on February 17.

And there are news reports that in recent talks between the Serbian Foreign Minister and the Russians in Moscow, the discussion centered about the possibility of Serbians joining with Russia. The United States having recognized Kosovo's independence, apparently has violated Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity if you respect that a Country has a sovereign right to their territories.

It would be nice if the Democrat Left in the USA, and people like the Bush hater, Seymour Hersh, would recognize the mess their leadership created in Kosovo, and accept the fact that it started before Iraq's war, and is still being fought in guerrilla style.

The Invasion of Iraq had been addressed many times in the UN Security Council, and after two years of sanctions the US took action! They invaded Iraq and deposed Saddam!A notorious murderer of his own people was eliminated, and good was done!

Leftists talk about the long five years we have been fighting in Iraq, and five years is a very long time to be in harms way".

Never the less, we have been in Korea for over fifty years, Japan and Germany for over 60 year, and soldiers do die in those Countries. No, not from IED's or terrorist bullets, but in the service of their Country while driving down the Autobahn, as a victim of assault and many other reasons. In fact there is danger for the man/women in uniform where ever they serve, but the Leftist media only concentrates on Iraq and Afghanistan. Before you scream about the nearly five thousand dead, remember we lost over 7,000 in the taking of Tarawa!

It would be easy to pull out and help partition Iraq into Sunni, Shiite and Kurd regions. This would seem to solve the ethnic and religious problems that leaving would indubitably create.

But not unlike in what used to be Yugoslavia, the same chaos would begin soon after we leave.The civil war, the liberal anti-military crowd proclaims we have now in Iraq, would begin. Chaos between sectarian and religious factions would surely break out.

In conclusion, I must say that an end must be found in Iraq, but all the carping and sniping here at home will only result in the destruction of the will to win a good fight. Why can't Americans unite behind the Jews, Christians and Muslim who are wearing the American flag on their shoulder patch the same way they did when Americans supported the war against the Serbs?

PAST TIME TO UNMASK OBAMA

Today's news is full of stories about Barack Hussein Obama announcing in Monaca, Penn., that he will give a major speech on race in this campaign.

Obama's motivation is the heat he has been getting about his DASHIKI wearing, freely cursing racist Pastor, Reverend Wright. He is quoted as saying "the caricature of Rev. Wright that's being painted of him is not accurate".

No matter what smooth talk he lays on the viewing audience, and I won't be one of them, the fact still remains that Rev. Wright has been his Pastor for twenty years, during which time he has preached hate and blame about White Americans.

Granted Obama has not been in one of his three hour services each Sunday to hear his vitriol, but he was there often enough to either agree with the Pastor or change churches.

Obama has written in his book, "Dreams from My Father" that Reverend Wright is "his political father", and "he calls him to check with him before he makes any bold political moves".

Now that his racist, cursing and damning White America, America-hating pastor Jeremiah Wright is finally in the News spotlight. Barack Obama is making the media rounds denouncing Wright's controversial statements. However, there's strong evidence that Obama isn't being exactly truthful in his denunciations.

In July, 2007. Jim Davis, a reporter for NewsMax, one of rev. Wright's services.He had this to report about his visit to the 3 hour service.

"Presidential candidate Barack Obama preaches on the campaign trail that America needs a new consensus based on faith and bipartisanship, yet he continues to attend a controversial Chicago church whose pastor routinely refers to "white arrogance" and "the United States of White America".

In fact, Obama was in attendance at the church when these statements were made on July 22..

Wright's strong sentiments were echoed in the Sunday morning service attended by NewsMax. Wright laced into America's establishment, blaming the "white arrogance" of America's Caucasian majority for the woes of the world, especially the oppression suffered by blacks.

To underscore the point he refers to the country as the "United States of White America." Many in the congregation, including Obama, nodded in apparent agreement as these statements were made. The sermon also addressed the Iraq war, a frequent area of Wright's fulminations. "Young African-American men," Wright thundered, were "dying for nothing." The "illegal war," he shouted, was "based on Bush's lies" and is being "fought for oil money."In a sermon filled with profanity, Wright also blamed the war on "Bush administration bulls--t." Those are the types of statements that have led to many describing Wright as "a full-blown hater."

Barack Obama has attended Wright's sermons regularly for over twenty years. By his own admission, Obama consults with Wright before making any "bold political decisions." Obama calls Wright his "spiritual advisor." He calls Wright one of his prime mentors. Obama got the title of his book, "The Audacity of Hope," from a Wright sermon of the same name. He says that Wright was extremely important in shaping his life and his views. Obama and his wife were married by Rev. Wright. Reverend Wright baptized Obama's daughters. Barack Obama donated over $20,000 to Wright's church in 2006. He continues attending services in Wright's church.No wonder he defends him!

He also is less than forthcoming in his description of his Black Muslim father. In "Dreams" he describes his father as being a victim of racial prejudice that caused his eventual death. However, close associates of Barrack H. Obama say he was a bigamists, married to three wives with out bothering to get a divorce. Fathered eight children, beat his wives in drunken rages after consuming large quantities of "Black Jack"!

The other troubling circumstance that has been conveniently shoved under the rug of information censorship, is his early childhood Muslim education.

Obama attended a Madrassa Seminary in Indonesia for four years until at the age of 10, when his mother moved to Hawaii. The U.S. Intelligence Service has determined that the Madrassa schools in Indonesia are funded by Saudi Arabia, and teach the Wahhabi doctrine that denies the rights to non-Muslims!

In recent months Obama has said that "the evening call to payer sounds sweet to him".

Saint Francis long ago said, "give me the children until they are seven and anyone can have them afterwards". The meaning is straight forward. Young "skulls of mush" are easily molded!

Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and all despots have concentrated on the indoctrination of their youth beginning at an early age.

Either Obama is a closet Muslim masquerading as a Christian for political reasons. Or he is an apostate Muslim who has been marked for death by the Muslim extremists. Either way, he should not be President of the United States.

TIME TO CONSIDER BOYCOTT OF OLYMPICS

The one thing I remember President Carter doing right was his boycott of American athletes from the Moscow Olympics. The act was in protest of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Many fine athletes lost their opportunity to win Olympic medals because of the boycott, but it was the right thing to do.

Once again we are faced with a situation in another Communist Country that cries out to become another boycott. The PLA used more than 100 trucks of soldiers, tanks and lethal weapons when they entered the city of Lhasa Friday. And the next morning another 40 trucks of soldiers and 36 tanks were used. They came down on the Tibetan people really hard. All tourists were told to leave, and some interviewed after leaving said it was a massacre!

The Olympic games in Communist China this summer should be boycotted by the United State and 15 of 16 nations who also boycotted the 1980 Moscow games. China was one of the 16, so we wouldn't expect them to support such a symbolic move.

It has been fifty years since the Chinese Communists under Mao's direction, immediately after his appointment as the leader of the Communist party in Beijing, invaded Tibet.

last Friday a large group of protesters gathered in Lhasa were attacked by Chinese soldiers and an estimated 80 people including some Buddhist Monks were killed.

Since China denies access to Tibet by foreign news correspondents we have only the Chinese version of what happened. The Chinese say the Tibetans become violent and 8 people were killed.

Since the Chinese took over Tibet,6000 monasteries have been closed and over one million people have been killed.

As of 1998 there were over 1,000 Tibetans in prison for their political, religious, and ethical views. The Beijing government has outlawed pictures of the Dalai Lama and forced Tibetan monks to denounce him. Tibetan women are often forced to be sterilized, to use contraception, and to abort their children. Some reports estimate that almost one-fourth of China's nuclear missile force is now located in Tibet. Chinese immigrants now outnumber Tibetans in their own land. Tibetans have been robbed of their language, culture, and religion.

Despite this blatant denial of human rights the United States State Department recently removed Communist China from it's list of Countries that violate human rights. I believe it is time to accept the fact that Chinese Communism is not only destroying human rights in China and Tibet but, the prevailing argument that market forces and international trade would transform China into a democracy has by now been completely discredited.
The only remaining way for concerned people to exert some positive influence on China seems to be through the power of the individual consumer. In short, a boycott of Made in China products, and the Olympics is a good way to start!

HE FORGOT HIS OATHS

I never took the oath that a Naval Academy Plebe takes when he enters the Academy at Annapolis as Admiral Fallon did, but we both took the Oath of Office when we became officers in the U.S. Navy.

I will never forget the pride I had being sworn in as a US Navy(not USNR) Ensign!

The Plebe says this Oath of Office:
“Having been appointed a Midshipman in the United States Navy,do you solemnly swear (or affirm) that you will support and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic;that you will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;that you take this obligation freely,without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion;and that you will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which you are about to enter,so help you God?" (italics are mine for emphasis)

When commissioned as an officer, the oath is repeated with slight deletions:

''I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

Apparently Admiral Fallon didn't feel that "true faith and allegince" applied to obeying without dissent the orders of your Commander in Chief and superior officer.

A man with a long and brilliant career apparently felt his opinions and point of view about the Iraq war differed too much from his superiors to remain quiet and do his duty.Tom serve and obey!

Fallon felt so strongly that his superior officers and the Presidnt were waging the war in Iraq wrongly, that he violated his oath of office and went public while still in uniform to express his displeasure.

Wikapedia describes his action thus:"As combatant commander of Central Command, Fallon was David Petraeus's superior officer. Petraeus is the commander of the current Iraq force, Multinational Force Iraq.
As CENTCOM commander, Fallon has often criticized Iran, while also encouraging negotiations. On May 28, 2007, he noted that the United States would continue to have a military presence in the Middle East, despite Iran wishing otherwise. However, he also said, "We have to figure out a way to come to an arrangement with them [Iran]" In an Al-Jazeera broadcast on September 30, 2007, he criticized those publicly urging war, stating "This constant drum beat of conflict is what strikes me which is not helpful and not useful. [...] I expect that there will be no war and that is what we ought to be working for." He also stated that Iran was not as strong as it claimed, "Not militarily, economically or politically."

Apparently he forgot who his Commander in Chief was--George Bush, not Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

If an O3 went on Al-Jazeera and did as Fallon, he surely would have been court marshaled! Admiral Fallon was allowed to resign with all his pension and benefits intact.

Had he been a high ranking officer in Iraq or Iran he would have been executed for his insubordination, but here in the USA he will become just one more darling "mouth piece" for the Left wing Liberals.

AN OPEN LETTER TO CHRISTIANS AND JEWS

Many devout and not so committed Christians and Jews are worried even fearful of the tidal wave of Secularist Atheism that has swept over the United States.

The God who was on the minds of the framers of our Constitution has been banished from the Court Rooms, Schools and public places in the whole of the United States.

The multi-cultists have opened their arms to the Muslim cult in ways they have denied to the followers of the religions that motivated the Original framers of Our Constitution.In San Diego the Carver school allows Muslim students 15 minutes of Prayer time each school day afternoon. In Minneapolis, Minn. every Friday Muslims are given one hour of prayer time. This after Courts have denied Christians the right to use school property to meet in prayer groups after school.

And they are doing it with the help of the ACLU. For a religion that has no desire to assimilate into the United States culture. Sharia creep has begun in Great Britain and France, and if the "PC" people have their way it will happen here.

Today secularists, Atheists and Marxist-Leninists are trying to accomplish what the Romans, Soviet Communists and Chinese Communists have tried to accomplish for over 2000 years. The eradication of Christianity and Judaism.

The Romans tortured, crucified and threw the Christians to the lions, but Christianity survived long after Emperor Diocletian retired in 305AD.

Diocletian's reign (284-305)is especially remembered by historians, for his renewed persecution of Christians that was begun by Nero. He authorized the killing and torture of those who refused to deny Christianity and accept Jupiter, his god. Three years later, he abdicated his power and allegedly died. Christianity once again flourished in Italy.

Stalin abolished all religions, Jewish and Christian. He even made the Jews scape goats for Russia's economic problems and began systematic persecution and established "gulags" for imprisoning religious followers.

Stalin made Communism the religion of his tyrannical reign, and many people around the World, and unfortunately here in the U.S., adhere to this "quasi-religion" today.

Fortunately,Ronald Reagan decimated the Communist regime with his arms race and "Star Wars", and religion has again emerged in Russia.

In China, Chairman (aka dictator)Mao, outlawed all religion. He even attacked the Buddhists in Tibet to try to destroy any vestiges of religious belief in his empire. Fortunately, like all despots, he eventually died and in the ensuing years religion has reappeared in Communist China, although not openly as here in America.

In the United States we now have false gods that have been embraced by Secularists. Money, sex, power and globalism have seemed to replace the worship of God. Ecologists have even found their own god to worship. Nature and all it's non-human creatures. Thus, there has been a substitute for the one God who says, "I Am". God finds little room in the minds of those who would create a "new world" in America.

Fortunately there are over 77.8 percent of the American population that still proclaim that they are Christians or Jews.

If we all stick together, and refuse to renounce our religion in the face of the ACLU and it minions. We will not only survive in this secular era, but flourish as those who have adopted secularism will fade into history as have Stalin, Nero, and Mao.

Do We Want To Be A Globalist?

Through out recent history the United States has been a generous contributor to the aid of developing and third world countries. The Lend Lease Program saved Great Britain and the Soviet Union, costing the taxpayers billions of dollars. The Berlin airlift saved the Capitol city of Germany from starvation after the Russians blockaded the city.

We have always sent hard earned tax dollars to foreign countries in need, but they still don't like us. Many will say it is our involvement in Iraq, but i say rubbish! They dislike us for our power, our standard of living and our freedoms. The basic evil of jealousy is the root cause. Still we send money to alleviate hunger, disease and suffering because it is the Judeo-Christian way!

Congress approved $4.8 billion in foreign aid for ambitious projects in 15 countries in Africa, Central America and other regions.Not a small sum for the tax payers to give to people who basically don't like us.
Now Senator Barrack Obama, the most probable Democratic nominee for president, has sponsored a “Global Poverty Act” that would require the United States to increase foreign aid by approximately $65 billion per year. This on top of all the tax payer funded Socialist programs he has promised the voting public!

If the Senate passes this bill, it will be Mr. Obama’s first significant legislative accomplishment in Washington since he was elected! .I doubt President Bush would sign the bill if it reaches his desk, but for the sake of argument I offer this.

The "Global Poverty Act", if passed, would be a hugely expensive mistake. The act fails on realistic grounds—it simply would not accomplish its stated goal of considerably reducing poverty.The distribution is too unreliable, and local corruption has often obfuscated the dispersion.

Stalwart Leftist politicians in Washington are so consumed with redistributing Our Country's wealth, that they never bothered to learn the most important economic lesson.: How to create wealth. Welfare like governments never creates wealth! It tends to inhibit the wealth earners.A good example is the 40 year failure of the Great Society!

Nowhere in the world can we point to a country that has escaped poverty through foreign aid—in spite of more than $2 trillion of foreign aid spending so far. Tragically, in some African countries that have received billions of dollars in aid, standards of living have deteriorated rather than improved in recent decades. As they have in the inner Cities of the United States where welfare programs are most prevalent.

Unfortunately, too often foreign aid gets siphoned off to service old debts, pay for expensive consultants, fund emergency humanitarian relief, or to Swiss bank accounts of "dignitary's" involved in the giving or receiving of the aid.

Why does foreign investment so often succeed where foreign aid fails? Primarily because investors are more careful and prudent with investments because they bear the losses when investments go sour. Bureaucrats don't!

Consequently, they are more diligent and successful at seeking out investments that will be profitable and that will actually create value in the targeted economy. Public “servants,” by contrast, don’t run the same risk. If a government “investment” fares poorly, the politicians or bureaucrats who made the investment suffer no personal loss. They are protected by the government they serve either by union affiliation, as in the United States, or because of patronage from and by the leader of their government who control his/her employment.

They simply go back to the public treasury for more funds and more failures. Private markets have proved far more efficient, of scarce capital than any government or multilateral taxpayer-funded institution.

Senator Obama's proposed legislation is troubling in that it relates to people outside the United States. Obama seems more interested in foreign peoples welfare than he proclaims to be concerned with the Americans he courts for their vote.

It would convince me that Obama is concerned about the people he wants to vote for him if he would introduce a bill that concerns the inability of the USA being able to access oil reserves in Canada.

The country with the largest oil reserves is not Saudi Arabia, Iran or Venezuela, but Canada.
Canada has an estimated 1.6 trillion barrels of oil on its territory. Saudi Arabia has an estimated 270 billion barrels. But much of Canada’s oil is locked in tough-to-excavate tar sands in the province of Alberta.
Canada’s government recently sent U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates a letter warning that it might not be able to sell the U.S. any of the oil America needs for national defense, according to the Financial Times of London.

Under the Act, tar sands are considered an alternative fuel, and the law requires oil sold to the U.S. government from alternative sources to emit fewer greenhouse gases than oil produced from conventional sources.
Estimates by geologists indicate that removing the coagulated oil found in tar sands produces up to five times the amount of greenhouse gas as pumping from a conventional well.
“Classifying the oil sands as a unconventional fuel would unnecessarily complicate the integrated Canada-U.S. energy relationship,” said Tristan Landry, a spokesman for Canada’s embassy in Washington.
We have a neighboring Country with the world’s largest oil supplies, and we’re going to tell them no thanks? This is the equivalent of legislative malpractice.

But We’ll have to get used to that if, as many hope and expect, we elect a Democratic President(Hillary or Obama) and increase the Democrats’ hold on the two houses of Congress.”

THE LATE, GREAT UNITED STATES

There is very little that our founding fathers and our avowed enemies had in common, but they both agreed on one thing.

That thought is if the American dream is to be destroyed, it will come from within.

The following two quotes are from opposite poles of the concept of a free Republic that the United States was founded to be.The first is a quote from one of the notable signers of the Declaration of Independence, and they other from a man who ruled with an iron fist the Communist Soviet Union.

For those of you who believe we are are Democracy, I must remind you that because the founding fathers believed that democracies led to mob rule. They founded a nation under God that is a Republic controlled by and for the people. The electoral college keeps us a Republic even though politicians since President Roosevelt have been eroding the freedoms granted by Our Constitution.

Today we have two Democrats involved in a "fish monger" type fight to be the candidate for the November election for President of this once proud Republic.

Both advocate openly, the radical shift toward socialism that began in 1933 with Roosevelt's New Deal.

President Roosevelt captured the Presidency in a time when the unemployment was at 28.3%, most of the U.S. banks had failed and millions were homeless.

He had little trouble enacting social welfare programs that were eagerly accepted by a starving majority. He took office in 1933, and his first executive order, order 6102, made it illegal for United States citizens to own and hold gold. He did this with a perversion of the "Trading With the Enemy Act" as the justification for confiscating personal gold. An order which if done by President Bush today would lead to his immediate impeachment.

The order allowed a citizen to hold a maximum of $100 in gold coins, and failure to surrender all gold valued above that could result in a $10,000 fine and up to ten years in jail. He pegged golds value at $20.67 per ounce. He also nullified all private and public contracts that called for payment in gold! Thus began the march toward socialism.

Roosevelt had the help of an avowed Socialist in Harry Hopkins in the development of CCC, NRA, WPA, Farm Credit Act and the Wagner Act. All of these put hundreds of thousands of unemployed men and a few women to work for the government at a cost of $45 billion.. Many still hail Roosevelt for ending the depression.

But history shows that in his second term the U.S. went into another recession, and we were well on our way toward Socialism, and in 1935 the Supreme Court of the U.S. declared the NRA act to be unconstitutional! I believe Roosevelt not only saved the Soviet Union with his inclusion of them in the Lend Lease Act( $50 billion) that cost thousands of merchant seamen their lives on the trip to Murmansk, but gave away half of Europe to the Soviets at Yalta.

He left a legacy of runaway government spending and the beginning of the debasement of our currency.

Roosevelt was the hero of the Progressive Liberals not unlike Obama and Hilary have become today. They propose to expand the intrusion of the Federal government into our lives by offering Socialised Medicine(aka limited medical care) as National Health insurance, freedom from religion in place of the Founding Founders Freedom from a National religion in the disguised name of Freedom of Religion.

Today's Democrats preach what Lenin shouted in 1917 to the Russian proletariat.. "Rob the Rich and give to the Poor". Or if you would rather, give to the working man more than he earns by taking it from those who work via taxation.

The liberals preach that Capitalism is unfair, Socialism is good, God is dead, competition is for war mongering Nazi Fascists, and the Federal government should take care of you from the cradle to the grave!

And the sad part of this atrocity is that many people have bought into this philosophy,aka Religion! Why else would people be swooning over an empty suit Socialist like Obama or a known power happy Marxist like Hillary?

God Help The United States if either of them gets into the Oval office!

STRANGE BEDFELLOWS

The commonality of Iranian President and the front runner for the Democratic Presidential nomination runs deeper than their Muslim roots. Although Barrack Obama has renounced his childhood Muslim religion and joined the Christian religion. Which by the way makes him an apostate in the eyes of all Muslims. They both feel that American troops should immediately withdraw from Iraq.Obama has even promised that if he is elected President he will have all troops out of Iraq by the end of 2008! A sure prescription for a massacre of those waiting to be evacuated last!

Obama voted against going there militarily in the first place, and yesterday during his visit to Iraq, Ahmadinejad had this to say about the United States.

"Speaking in a nearly hour-long news conference at the end of an unprecedented visit to Iraq, Ahmadinejad called for immediate withdrawal of American troops and said the "U.S. allegations — that Iran is training Shiite militants who target American troops and Muslim rivals — don't matter to the Iranians. Of course American officials make such remarks and such statements, and we do not care ... because they make statements on the basis of erroneous information," said the hard-line Iranian leader, who smiled through much of the session. "We cannot count on what they say."

Perhaps Obama is pandering to the Leftist political organisations such as The National Peace foundation, and other groups who want to see the United States military strength weakened. What ever his opposition to the Iraq war is will remain in his heart and mind. But his solution to the Iranian quest for nuclear arms is based on "just Talking" to them. Perhaps Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Mullahs will stop production and dismantle their nuclear program if Obama is elected President. But I doubt it!

They will look upon Obama as a weakling the same as Hitler did when Neville Chamberlain went, hat in hand, to talk Hitler out of war in 1936.
Ahmadinejad is the first Iranian head of state to visit Iraq since before the Iran/Iraq war 1980-1988 when Iraq invaded Iran in June 1980.When asked about terrorists, he had this to say about America in Iraq:

"Six years ago there were none of these terrorists. When the others stepped foot in this country and region we find a foothold for the terrorists," he told reporters after meeting Shiite political leader Abdul Aziz Al Hakim.

I guess he forgot the terror that Saddam Hussein's regime caused for the Iraqi people, especially the Sunni's.

NAMES AND THREATS WILL NOT HURT ME, BUT DEADS WILL

Sunday, the pillars of the Left wing media, the Washington Post and New York Times both had articles chastising any one who votes for McCain.
New York Times writer Nicholas Kristof wrote a column that include the words that this Presidential campaign is showing monstrous bigotry about religion. He explained his theory with references to claims from the "Right" that Obama could be closet Muslim, and the anti-Christ!

The Washington Post writer James Lewis wrote that, "vote for McCain and you are a sexist pig, racist Islamophobe".

The left has to be extremely disturbed by the rancor developing between the two remaining Democrat candidates for President.
As a result they are hoping to sway people their way, the Left, by throwing the slurs at people who like myself don't want a Socialist President no matter what color or sex he/she is.

Putting aside for a moment the fact that the Left is being ripped asunder by the infighting. There is also the question of is some one an Islamophobe if he/she doesn't accept the politically correct attitude that the are Muslims, all good people, and then there are terrorist Muslims. A small portion of the Islam nation, we are led to believe.

There is just one problem with this approach. No leader of the "good" moderate Muslims has come forth publicly and denounced the actions o the Terrorist Muslims. In fact these good" Muslims met this past weekend in Toledo ,Ohio to plan the Jihad in North America.
The main speakers were Esam Omeish and Madi Bray,and Mohamed Ahram. All three are leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Bray flew in from Egypt to attend this Muslim conference whose main purpose was to organize the "civilization-Jihadist Process".
They presented an eighteen page diagram and dialog for "the work in America that is the grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and "sabotaging" its miserable house by their(Ikhwan) hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all religions". They spoke about " The overt Islamic Movement, and it is a Muslim's destiny to perform Jihad!"
There plan which can be found on the Internet, includes the establishment of Islamic Centers in every City in the USA.
This group listed 29 Muslim and Islamic groups as supporters of this Jihad movement. The list includes The Islamic Society of North America, Muslim Business Association, and Islamic Medical Society.

I have no regrets or feel the least bit guilty in apposing an organization that has as it's goal the removal of the Judeo-Christian Religious principles on which that this Country was founded, and replacing it with a "religion" that cuts off the hands of thieves and throws homosexuals off the roof!

Time to Obliterate Mosul?

When Truman decided that an invasion of Japan was too costly in Military lives to contemplate . He authorized the dropping of atom bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He ended the Carnage that was the Pacific war against Imperial Japan.

Eisenhower had no compunction against the day and night fire bombing of major German cities during the closing months of WWII. The raids killed tens of thousands of women and children, but it helped to stop the war against Nazi Germany.

Now we are faced with an enemy that has taken refuge in Iraq in the city of Mosul. The military authorities have declared Mosul as a hot bed of Al Qaeda activity, and yesterday they proved their control of that city by killing the driver and two guards of the Archbishop of Mosul, Cardinal Paulos Faraj Rahho. They kidnapped him, and there is a good possibility he will end up beheaded as have many other civilian and military captives of al Qaeda over the past four years.

It is time to seriously consider wiping Mosul from the face of the Iraqi map.

Carpet bombing the city will get rid of the strong hold that grips Mosul. It will also kill innocent civilians, but in this case the end justifies the means!

We are fighting a war of attrition at home as well as in Iraq, and this justifies the carpet bombing of Mosul! It could be the fatal blow that destroys the resolve of alQaeda.

I know this will offend and incense the "peaceniks" and leftist anti-war zealots, but who gives a damn. Are we in this war to win or just kill more American soldiers? If Bush and the Generals fighting the war want to win they must take drastic measures. Obama would withdraw and leave the Iraqis to fight off the bloodbath that follows. I believe he is wrong!

With Russian bombers flying within 5 miles of the USS Nimitz before being chased away by two F-8 fighter jets. It indicates that Russia's dictator(aka President), former KGB colonel Putin, and his 6,000 KGB associates who are involved in Russian federal and regional government, are deadly serious about making Russia's military might known.

Two Soviet Era bombers also buzzed the Nimitz in the Sea of Japan last month, before they were chased away by Navy fighters, and the Chinese Communists have launched missiles in the area of the sea off Formosa.

Now is not the time to become a duplicate of the miserable military decline that we have seen happen in Great Britain. There are too many enemies "in the weeds" to show a lack of strength and resolve.

Remember you can't bargain with the Devil! And we have enemies that would love to see us elect a person, as President, who shows no support for the military.

We Are At A Crossroad In Iindividual Freedom

Not since the war for Independence has this Country faced a threat to individual liberties as we find ourselves today. No, it did not happen overnight. It has been a gradual erosion of the quality of education, the shift to the extreme left of the print and television media, the embrace of multiculturalism and political correctness over the past twenty years. But today we are at a crossroads in the great experiment Our founding fathers called Liberty and Freedom.
In November we will determine whether The United States of America remains a Land of Individuals free to determine the fate of their lives within the laws of the land. Or we will elect a President who has the goal of making the USA into a Utopian type of Socialist State! A country where the government not only provides you what it believes is best for you from cradle to grave, but tells you what you can and cannot say!

We are some 230 years after the formation of the greatest, most productive, prosperous, powerful and generous free nation on earth, possibly voting ourselves back into tyranny in the name of a greater common good. Far too many people have stopped asking the question about what limited role in society our government should fulfill ( as did Our Founders), but have hopped aboard the "gravy train to paradise", never suspecting it to be the graveyard express to the ideological gulag, and the loss of individual freedoms.

We no longer respect or protect the first fundamental unalienable American right, Life. Over a million abortions are performed per year since Roe/Wade. The second, the right to individual Liberty has been replaced with the group rights of the community, and our right to individually define and pursue (earn) happiness has been traded for the right of the group to both define and re-distribute happiness at the federal level. People are now asking government to meet the needs that were once obligations of individuals themselves, family and neighbors, the public charity, church organizations, and Almighty God. A clear recipe for tyranny in exchange for laziness.

Our federal government has indeed become destructive of the very values and principles every American is called to uphold and defend in Our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and unless we change our government by changing our voting patterns, we will soon have no choice but to abolish them and start anew.

Democrats today stand fully opposed to all founding American principles and values. But Republicans get no free pass here either. The party which once stood up to Democratic Socialists in defense of the real American Dream, has in recent years joined the Left in an only slightly slower march into Democratic Socialism. As a result, all elected members of the federal government enjoy the lowest approval ratings in U.S. history. Lower than the President!

Today’s Democrats call themselves “the Party of the Working Class, the poor, the downtrodden.” They promise to rob from “the rich” for the betterment of the poor. In other words, they are selling exactly what Marx, Lenin and Stalin and many other Communists have sold over the years, “From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need.”

Same Change – New Name
Socialized medicine is being sold as “universal health care” – government ownership or control of the nation’s vast natural resources is being sold as “environmentalism” – Freedom of Religion is now being sold as “freedom from religion,” in accordance with the Marx view that “The first requirement for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion.” Today’s federal charade called government, may march toward Socialism before you will realize what has been done?

We are seeing the emergence of a false "messianic" state. In order to incorporate an essential religious theme into their campaign message, liberal candidates and political commentators have presented a socialist reinterpretation of The Sermon on the Mount as the true biblical model, and Obama uses the reference freely.


Our problem is not whether we are ready for the first minority president, or the first women president. The question is whether America's good is best served, in either case, by a potential leader that will lurch us further toward socialism than George McGovern would have in 1972.



Hillary Clinton recently stated it quite clearly, “We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.” Nikita Khrushchev said it this way, “Comrades! We must abolish the cult of the individual decisively, once and for all” and apparently, today’s Democrat Party is united in this belief system. Remember Joseph Stalin once said:" We do not have to defeat America in war. We will destroy it from within".

LIBERAL MEDIA SHOWS IT'S DUPLICITY

The British newspaper, The Telegraph, is featuring a story of an American airlines plane that flew from Chicago to London with only five people aboard. It highlights the ecologist claims that American Airlines wasted 22,000 pounds of jet fuel for just five passengers. Never mind that it had a full load waiting in London to fly back to Chicago.


The article featured quotes from "Friends Of the Earth" spokes person who had this to say:"It was 'obscene' to waste so much fuel flying an almost empty plane". He claimed that each of the passengers Carbon foot print was 45 times what it would be if the plane were full. Not satisfied with this outrageous claim, he went on to say that Governments should not allow this to happen , but should not only tax aviation fuel, but also the emissions caused by flying the plane. A typical attitude of one who believes that government should control our lives. I believe this is called Marxism!



None the less while they are about saving the world from Big Business contribution to "Global Warming". Perhaps they should look inward and evaluate some of their fellow conspirators in their GW scam. Take Movie actors, professional athletes and politicians for example.

John Travolta is a good example of a supporter of GW who talks the talk, but fails to walk the walk. His serious aviation habit means he is hardly the best person to lecture others on the environment. But John Travolta went ahead and did it anyway.

But although he readily admitted: "I fly jets", he failed to mention he actually owns five, along with his own private runway.
Clocking up at least 30,000 flying miles in the past 12 months means he has produced an estimated 800 tons of carbon emissions – nearly 100 times the average persons tally.
Travolta made his comments this week at the British premiere of his movie, Wild Hogs.

Other Hollywood movie stars use private jets as well. Angelina Jolie, recently flew to Hanoi, Vietnam to pick up her new adopted baby son. A round trip of 14,000 miles. Her mate Brad Pitt, flew in a private jet from LA to Namibia to film a movie.This trip alone was 9,4000 miles and 11,000 pounds of jet fuel was used one way.

Activist actor George Clooney recently flew to Tokyo from La .A distance of 5,500 miles that used 7,000 gallons of fuel.

Tiger Woods, Ernie Els and Greg Norman are but a few of the golf professionals who have their own private jets.
Tiger Woods flies around in a G550 (NetJets), the "Google" boys and Paul Allen use 757’s as their private jets. None of those planes were big enough for Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal. Nope, the Prince has ordered the double-decker, brand new Airbus A380.

We never read or hear about Environmentalists carping about these people. It is too easy to attack "Big business" the villain
of all Socialists!

"Everyone can do their bit. But I don't know if it's not too late already. We have to think about alternative methods of fuel.
"I use them(jets) as a business tool though, as others do. I think it's part of this industry – otherwise I couldn't be here doing this and I wouldn't be here now."
Travolta's five private planes – a customised £2million Boeing 707, three Gulfstream jets and a Lear jet – are kept at the bottom of his garden in the US next to a private runway.
Five years ago he piloted his own Boeing 707 on a 13- city "Spirit of Friendship Tour" for Qantas, taking in Los Angeles, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, London, Paris and New York and amassing over 35,000 flying miles.
More recently, a gruelling promotional schedule for his two latest projects, Hairspray and Wild Hogs, has seen him fly extensively over the past year.
This includes a country-wide tour of the US and a visit to Canada as well as this week's appearance in Leicester Square.
Such prolific mileage means that, over the past 12 months, he has accumulated around 800 tonnes of carbon emissions.
According to a recent study by the government-funded Carbon Trust, this means he boasts a carbon "footprint" nearly 100 times that of the average person. Travolta is responsible for 10.92 tons of Co2, from his flights alone.

The Gores used about 191,000 kilowatt hours in 2006, according to bills reviewed by The Associated Press spanning the period from Feb. 3, 2006, to Jan. 5. That is far more than the typical Nashville household, which uses about 15,600 kilowatt-hours per year.
His Nashville home is more than four times larger than the average new American home built last year.Armed with Gore's utility bills for the last two years, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research charged that the gas and electric bills for the former vice president's 20-room home and pool house devoured nearly 221,000 kilowatt-hours in 2006, more than 20 times the national average of 10,656 kilowatt-hours!

FAREWELL TO A WARRIOR

Today a real life hero decided he had done all he could do in the sport he loved so much. So he passes into history as the best all around quarterback in history of the NFL. This blog is a thank you for the effort and memories you leave us.

After a dismal season in 2006, Favre and the Packers rebounded to a 13-and-3 record in 2007. They lost to the eventual NFL champion New York Giants in the NFC title game. Favre extended his quarterback-record streak of consecutive regular-season starts to 253 games. Add in the playoffs and Favre 's streak stands at 275 games.
He retires with 61,655 yards passing and 442 touchdowns.

With an enlightened attitude toward his future as an NFL player he said this was the reason he decided to retire. The stress of living up to his high standards had become too much.
"I know I can still play but it's like I told my wife, I'm just tired mentally," the 38-year-old told ESPN television on Tuesday.
"Physically I feel okay but the stress of studying (game film) every week has gotten too much and the more stressful it got, well I'm always trying to top what I'd done the previous week."

The 38-year-old warrior secured a record haul of three NFL Most Valuable Player awards and a Super Bowl championship, but it is his remarkable durability and boyish enthusiasm that will remain in the memory of long time Packer fans like me.

Despite the fact that he led the Packers to 11 playoff appearances, seven divisional titles and two trips to the Super Bowl, winning the championship in 1997. He will be remembered by me, because he enjoyed the game and showed It win or lose. He was a fan who loved being on the field playing a mans game as though he was a boy.

Professional football has lost another good human being and great athlete just as we did when Reggie White died in 2004.

Reggie was the best defensive end the Packers will ever had and Brett will never be replaced. Thanks for the thrills and memories, Brett!

WE MUST WAKE UP TO THE MUSLIM INVASION

While both Democrats and Republicans appear to be aware of International terrorism in the World, to varying degrees. There is no mention on the political "stump" or in the Main Stream Press of the growing threat posed by radical Muslims inside the United States.

CAIR and the liberal left have been vigilant in seeing that no negative news is published or seen on the TV about the growing internal threat of the Muslim followers in America.

European Countries such as England and Holland are already confronted with the threat to impose Sharia law into their established legal system, because of the mass migration of Muslims into their Country. This excerpt from the Militant Islam Monitor: "There is the additional problem of the growing impact militant Islam is making on Europe. This does not refer to most ordinary Muslim voters(what is an ordinary Muslim?) but to a minority of very vocal militants who have an agenda of their own. There is some similarity between today's militant Muslims and the Nazis who came into power more than seventy years ago. Both are inspired by the same kind of anti-Semitism, they adore obscure conspiring theories like ‘The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,' describing secret plans for the creation of a world government controlled by Jews. Islam is by no means the same as National Socialism, yet the growing number of extremist Muslims nowadays may pose a threat to us, especially if they receive the backing of a State. This applies to many militant or extremist Muslims".

There is a growing radicalism among Muslim communities. According to the ICM poll, ‘twenty percent of the British Muslims feel sympathy with the July 7 bombers' feelings and motives, seventy five percent, however, do not. One percent feels the attacks were ‘right.'

There are moderate Muslim rulers like King Mohamed VI of Morocco, King Abdullah of Jordan and Sultan Qaboos of Oman who have a pro-Western orientation. They are responsible for the introduction of important political and social reforms. Militant and extremist Muslims demand that these reforms be replaced by the traditional and radical ‘Sharia' law.

For men, radical Islam means a ban on listening to music, watching movies, television or videos. There would be a ban on celebrating any non-Muslim holiday. All people with non-Islamic names would be required to adopt an Islamic name. All men and boys would be required to have traditional haircuts and when able, they must grow beards. Prayers at mosques must be attended five times daily. They are banned from having birds and dogs. No kite flying is allowed. Anyone found with objectionable literature can be executed. No hand clapping is allowed at sporting events. The use of the Internet is banned accept by government permission. Non-Muslims must where distinctive identifying badges. Reminds me of what Hitler did to the Jews!

For women, all of the above apply, except for beards. In addition women are banned from working outside the home, except for selected female doctors. Women cannot leave the home unless accompanied by a male relative or husband. They cannot drive a car or deal with shopkeepers. Male doctors cannot treat them. Women must where undecorated clothing that covers them from head to foot.

A woman can be whipped if her ankles show in public. She is banned from shaking hands, laughing loudly, wearing high heeled shoes, playing sports, speaking on radio or TV, riding a bicycle or motorcycle and must not wear perfume. The woman’s clothing cannot resemble a man’s clothes. Their shoes cannot make a sound when they walk. They cannot talk to men other than family and when they do talk it must be in a very low voice. They must not look at strangers. CAIR will quickly tell you that this is the extremist interpretation of Sharia law, but I have seen no print news or TV item that declares this is wrong by any "moderate" Muslim.

Undercover counter terrorism agents, who speak Arabic and understand the culture, have conducted reconnaissance at some 2,300 mosques and centers in every state of the U.S.. Also a recent Freedom House study concluded that “the vast majority are inciting insurrection and jihad through sermons by Saudi-trained imams and anti-Western literature, videos and textbooks.”

However, when members of the media, or political candidates bring up the subject of this growing threat, they are branded as practicing racial profiling, anti-Muslim or unpatriotic. Government officials keep telling everyone that the Muslim world is friendly, in spite of all the evidence to the contrary. The majority in Congress force the nation into Arab oil servitude, by refusing to allow serious drilling in our own country and spending more time trying to make the enemy out of “Big Oil”, instead of Middle Eastern threats. This while Communist China is making deals to import more crude oil by the day!

All of this will continue to unfold, from the American advancement of Islam to the flow of more Middle Eastern money to advance terrorism...and all because Americans spend their time being angry at our own politicians and have little or no concern about an every increasing threat being imported from abroad.

All Americans should pay more attention to what is happening in Europe, as it can happen here, and will if we don't change our attitude toward this internal threat.

Muslim extremists suspected of links to terrorism have been on trial in Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy. In all these trials there was a common pattern of denials or lame excuses by most terrorist suspects. They usually claim it is not they who are on trial but their Islamic beliefs. In 1960 we had 20 mosques in the United States. By 1994 that number had grown to 962 and in 2000 there were 1,209. Today an estimated 2,300 mosques, plus storefronts, meeting rooms and student centers are spread across the country. These mosques and centers are used as a form of political and social mobilization, under the cloak of religion.

More than 90% of Muslim leaders say they should be involved in the political process and it should be noted they are increasingly assuming positions within the public arena.
For some strange reason, when viewing the growth of Islam in the United States, Americans are about as complacent as they are relative to most political activities.

Though reported on in 2002 that: “Every time you fill up your tank you may be helping to finance an Islamic mosque in America” and that “Some of the largest mosques and Islamic Centers in America are funded by the royal government of Saudi Arabia, which gets most of its revenue from oil exports”, we have still continued to ignore the fact that we are facing a serious problem.

Our government keeps telling us that Saudi Arabia is our friend. This flies in the face of undisputed facts including that 15 of the 19 hijackers who crashed aircraft into New York and Washington DC were Saudi citizens. It also ignores the fact that the Saudi government continues to finance the advancement of “Wahhabism”, one of the most violent and fundamentalist strains of Islam and that most Saudi citizens adhere to this anti-American sect.

In the past 33 years the Saudi government has poured more than $87 billion into expanding the Muslim faith in America. There are an estimated 6 million Muslims in the United States today and many of them were converts from Christianity or had no prior religious preference. It is estimated that up to 90% of the converts are African-American.

While 64% of Saudis have an unfavorable view of the United States, 57% of the black Muslims in America look upon this country as an immoral society, including Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama's recently retired pastor!
