THE ISSUE WAS WHO WOULD HAVE THE FIRST STRIKE CAPABILITY IF IT CAME TO A NUCLEAR SHOWDOWN BETWEEN COMMUNIST RUSSIA AND AMERICA. WE BOTH HAD THE WEAPONS BUT THE RACE WAS ON TO SEE WHO HAD THE BIGGER THREAT OF ANNIHILATION. EVENTUALLY THE COMMUNISTS RAN OUT OF RUBLES.

AS SUCH HE ADVOCATED ALLOWING HITLER SOME LATITUDE IN HIS GRIEVANCES. THE MAIN CONCESSION THAT HE GRANTED TO HITLER IN 1936 AT THE MUNICH CONFERENCE WAS THE RETURN OF THE SUDATENLAND TO GERMANY. CHAMBERLAIN RETURNED FROM THE MUNICH CONFERENCE TO PROCLAIM THAT PEACE WAS ASSURED BY HITLER AND BENITO MUSSOLINI AT THE MUNICH CONFERENCE.

Excellent appraisal of another misinformed liberal pacifist.The time to act militarily is now and not after more futile attempts by our left of center state department and left wing news media talking about negotiating with a group of people determined to eradicate Israel and the USA.They have proved their insincerity since the late 1940's with false promises to Israel.Their hatred for Israel also includes the USA.The only answer is to militarily knock their strike capability completely out.
