No Way To Win The Peace In Iraq

The looting and killing of civilians in Iraq should have been stopped by now. After the statue of Saddam fell if the U.S. military had begun immediately to shoot looters on sight and and declared marshal. Law order would have been established.
Carpet bombing the roads from Syria and Iran would have closed the Syrian and Iranian borders to stop foreign terrorist infiltration. The outcry from Europeans and our Media would have arisen immediately. Accusations would follow that we were too brutal and were gunning down poor and hungry people.
But wars involve killing people, and those who won't kill before they are killed will never win at war!
We may have forgotten that one of the reasons for the speed of the American advance and then the sudden rush to stop military operations - as was true in the first Gulf War - was the enormous criticism leveled by the Europeans at the Americans for going to war in the first place, and the constant litany, that began almost immediately, of American abuses involving excessive force. Shooting looters may have restored order, but it also would have been enshrined as an "Abu-Ghraib-like" crime.
The Media would have shown a photo of a dead poor "hungry" Iraqi. It would have been broadcast globally as an unarmed victim of American barbarism.
We can imagine charges of more "Highway of Death" outrage had we bombed concentrations of foreign terrorists pouring in from Iran or from Syria., whom the Media would report were going to "weddings" and "festivals" in Iraq.
Throughout this "Surgical" war, the military has been been between a rock and a hard place. Don't shoot and you are accused of not doing your duty and allowing lawlessness to spread; shoot and you are immediately slandered by Media pundits as a sort of rogue LAPD in camouflage. You may even be made an example of in a Courts Martial filled with "PC" military judges.
We hear only of the deliberately exaggerated reports of "Iraqi civilian losses" - without any explanation that almost all the Iraqi dead are either (1) victims of the terrorists, (2) Iraqi security forces trying to defend the innocent against the terrorists, or (3) the terrorists themselves.
Our efforts to save civilians during the war, left Iraqi civilians of today endangered by the Muslim death squads of both Shiite and Sunni groups.
The same thing happened in Vietnam, on a massive scale, because in that case the U.S. didn't merely pull its punches, it pulled its military forces out entirely. Per Larry Elder
Our withdrawal, however, gave the Vietnamese armies under Ho Chi Minh free rein to overrun South Vietnam - raping, pillaging, plundering, impoverishing, imprisoning, torturing and slaughtering hundreds of thousands of civilians. It also gave the Pol Pot regime an opportunity to wage the greatest genocide since Stalins purge in the USSR. Millions were killed, and the same thing will happen if the Democrats have their way in Iraq.

If Wisconsin Democrats Want Hillary She Must Be A Socialist

It was really no big surprise when the Wisconsin Democrat executive committee endorsed Senator Hillary Clinton for President.
I grew up in Wisconsin and for most of my formative years I lived under the Socialistic regime of Mayor Frank Ziedler(1948-1960). He ran adds in the papers of major Southern cities for laborers to come to Milwaukee where he guaranteed them jobs in his growing "little socialist" city.
The unemployment rate in Milwaukee today is a reflection of that mass migration of Black workers and the loss of industry due to high tax rates in Wisconsin.
In my grade school years I listen often and intently about the man my Dad despised. He previously was one of the founders of the Socialist Party of America.His name was Congressman Andrew J. Biemiller (1942-43 and 1948-49), and he was one of the first Congressman to introduce proposed legislation for "Socialized Medicine".
This Congressman was a dedicated supporter of Henry Wallace for President. Wallace was a Socialist running in the Presidential election against Harry Truman. He also helped to form the Americans For Democratic Action
Milwaukee also had a socialist Mayor named David Hoan in 1932, and had a man who was literally Mister "Progressive, Robert La Follette,Sr., who ran for President as a Progressive in 1924 .
With a leftist history like this, you can readily understand why the Democrats in Wisconsin endorsed a Socialist ideologue like Hillary Clinton.
Fortunately I am not alone in the identification of Senator Clinton as a Socialist.
The following is a quote from todays issue of PATRIOT POST by Tony Blankley.
"Likely (democrat) nominee, Hillary Milhous Clinton is, by prior and now private inclination, an anti-military radical feminist Euro-Socialist come Trotskyite who is masquerading as a pro-military, free market, religious centrist.

I wonder whether Socks the Cat and Buddy the Dog (whereever they are today, God bless them) also meow and bark about “our administration." But the media and the public accept that she is “experienced." I suppose she is, of a sort.

Unloved and off-putting as she is, she will probably get her party's nomination even though its left-leaning party voters reject her public centrism, while she is afraid to publicly utter her private “sinistre” political yearnings -- which policies are exactly what her party regulars want."

I would also like to add that Hillary was part of the "hatchet" team that "cooked" up the impeachment of President Clinton. I guess "what goes around, comes around" is appropriate!

Wars Of Attrition Never Bring Victory

It seems to this blogger that President Bush and his Military Commander in Iraq, General Petraeus are tring to fight a clean surgical war in Iraq.
Even though the Terrorist Islamists are willing to behead those they captured,use Chlorine gas and embedded bombs to kill indiscriminately. We are trying to win using the weakest part of our military arsenal. There are no flame throwers, no tank brigades, no carpet bombings and no mass artillery bombardments on cities that are known hideouts for terrorists.
We are trying to go from house to house rooting out terrorists like we had to do in the caves of Iwo Jima, Tarawa and Okinawa. Where we lost 15,439 troops.
The difference is these valiant men and women in Iraq are doing their jobs with only Humvees, armed personal carriers, rifles and machine guns.
The results are seen on TV and in the Main Stream Press daily. More troops killed every week if not daily, and no end in sight.
To make it worse when the troops get into a fire fight with the enemy, and who can tell who the enemy is when women and children as well as men, are involved in the fighting quite often.If they kill civilians the troops involved are too often subject to court martial.
One such ridiculous event is going on at this very moment involving the investigating team of JAG lawyers who are Marines.
These lawyers were ordered to investigate the killing of 24 civilians during a firefight in Haditha during November 2005.
Apparently this Article 32 hearing, that is the military equivalent of a grand jury, was prompted by Major General Bargewell, when he heard from the "chain of Command":"Iraqi civilian lives are not as important as United States troops lives, and casualties of civilians is just the result of doing business."
I would hope the Commander of our forces values the lives of our troops more than he does the Iraqis. If he doesn't. He should go back to West Point and study a little history.
During WWII the cities of Hamburg and Dresden were fire bombed day and night using explosives bombs first to take of the roof tops of dwellings and then incendiaries to start fire storms that reached 1500 degrees and killed according to the Columbia Encyclopediabetween 35,000 and 135,000 civilians in one night in Hamburg! In March of 1944 we bombed Dresden over 3 days with 7,831 tons of explosive and incendiary bombs to aid the Russian advance on Berlin, and killed over 35,000 civilians!
I am not saying this was a "war crime" or that we should firebomb Iraq. What I am saying is that it is past time when we let "political correctness' and the "mommy attitude" guide our effort to win the war in Iraq.
It is time to quit fighting the terrorists war, and fight our way to Victory.
We can identify cities and town in parts of Iraq where the most terrorist attacks are being perpetrated. Then bomb these places to smithereens! No more house to house rooting out!
Give the Marines back their flame throwers, and use them whenever an enemy if located.
Wars do have casualties. People get killed and it is too bad if civilians get in the way, but it is better than the continuous parade of body bags coming home.
But I digress!! The Article 32 hearing for Captain Randy Stone is a disgrace to the Marine corps, and reeks of Political Correctness. This has no place in the Marine corps., and it tarnishes a glorious heritage for it to even begin. Capt. Stone is the first of four Marine officers to be charged with dereliction of duty for failing to investigate "properly" 24 civilian deaths in Haditha in November 2005. Having reviewed the facts — what you might call his politically correct job as battalion lawyer — Capt. Stone determined no further investigation was warranted. In other words, he came to a politically incorrect conclusion. (So did his superiors, but he's the guy on trial — another story.) Capt. Stone could get three years in prison. Three enlisted Marines are charged with unpremeditated murder. They could get life. At least eight other Marines may have been granted immunity to testify. The whole case exudes the terrible, rotting stench of eating our own.

Described in the heavy-breathing press as "the biggest U.S. criminal case involving civilian deaths in the Iraq war," the incident sounds less like a war crime than, well, a war.

"Here's what happened: A convoy of Marines trolling insurgent-riddled Haditha was hit by a huge IED. A Humvee was destroyed. One Marine was killed (split in two). Two other Marines were wounded (one grievously). There was a lot of shooting at an approaching Iraqi car. There was a lot of shooting at two nearby Iraqi houses where Marines heard, as The New York Times put it, "the distinct metallic sound of an AK-47 being prepared to fire." As one Marine witness explained, "the squad leader thought he was about to kick in the door and walk into a machine gun." In the end, no additional Marines had died, but 24 Iraqi civilians, including some children, had been killed."

Democrat Front Runners For '08 Are Socialists

In my previous blog posting I described what I believe Senator H.Clinton has put forward in her plans for her administration if she, only heaven can help us if she does, makes it to the Oval Office. The plans she has outlined could well have been drawn up by Lenin and Trotsky.
Now we have her closest competitor Senator Obama proposing more of the same socialistic programs.
In a speech over the weekend he had the following to say:
"I call for improving fuel efficiency. My plan is for the government to pay ten percent of domestic automakers’ health care costs for retired workers, allowing them to put that money into research and development of more fuel-efficient vehicles."
Other tax incentives Obama proposed would allow for recalibrating factories to produce more hybrid vehicles. The price tag for such a program would run $20 billion over ten years.
This proposal departs from Obama’s earlier promotion of coal-to-liquid technology, which runs afoul of environmentalists because of the high level of carbon dioxide resulting from the conversion of coal to liquid fuel. Rather than support the pursuit of new fuel technologies, Obama has decided to play it safe with his liberal supporters by offering yet another government cure-all instead of letting market forces drive innovation.
While the Senator proposes more government involvement in private enterprise to court Union voters, the President is attempting to get some traction in Congress for the drilling for oil off shore and in ANWAR wilderness to develop independence from the increasingly hostile Middle East and Venezuela.
He addressed tho oil independence yesterday and again today during a televised press conference:
President Bush introduced a plan that would expand drilling to include the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the coasts of Alaska and Virginia. Predictably, environmentalists will fight this every step of the way, but realistic folks who want true energy independence will have a tough time saying no to 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas.
The President talks of expanding our economic independence, and both Hillary and Obama talk of ever increasing socialistic programs that will eventually destroy our Free Enterprise Private Sector by increasing government programs that require more government employees and more tax dollars if voters don't stop them at the polls in 2008!

Hillary Is The Socialist Candidate For Certain

As far as this blogger is concerned. Senator Hillary Clinton came out of the closet yesterday, and declared herself as a Socialist.
At a Democrat fund raising dinner in Columbus, Ohio she proclaimed that if elected she will see that we get universal health care, withdrawal of the troops from Iraq immediately, appropriate funds for alternative sources of energy and hire MORE government employees who are qualified people.
What she means by qualified is a conundrum. Does she mean the government that is presently overloaded with over paid and richly covered with benefits are presently incompetent? If she means that I would agree with her.
What she really means, I believe, is she will hire more leftist leaning people to enlarge the democrat voting block that already exists in Washington. If this isn't socialism I am from another planet!
Earlier in the day she gave a commencement address at an all Black University in South Carolina. She promised the graduates of Claflin University that if she is elected she will push for legislation that includes"a student bill of rights". No such right exists in the Constitution, but that hasn't stopped the leftists in Congress and the Supreme Court from establishing new "rights" at will.
This student bill of rights will mandate that student loans be contracted taking into consideration the students ability to pay back the loan, and will be based upon a percentage of the students income. This will by law keep fees and interest rates "reasonable" per Hillary.
The first thing that comes to my mind is who will pay the difference. The "Big Bad" Lenders as Hillary would have you believe won't be able to absorb the loss such a program mandates. It is you and I the hard working taxpayer who will have to "pony-up" the tax dollars to cover all her promised socialism!
This Country will travel down the same road to insolvency as has most of Europe if this woman gets into the Oval Office. God help the middle class if she does!

AN OPEN LETTER TO SECRETARY GATES

Dear Secretary Gates.

I am writing to you in hopes that what I have learned is news to You also. If it is not, then I must consider the possibility that political correctness and gross stupidity has infiltrated the Defense Department as it has obviously attacked the State Department.

It is one thing to ask people to volunteer to go into harms way for the good of their fellow country men. But it is complrte and utter stupidity to take the ammunition out of the weapons they will most surely need if and when their post is attacked. That is what safety locks are for!

The following partial quote is from todays Washington Times. Please read it and please put the ammunition back into our troops weapons at all times. We have trained these men and women to fight, but not with their hands tied behind their backs!

"US troops are being forced to carry unloaded weapons on most US bases because commanders are more worried about a "negligent" discharge than the very real likelihood of a terrorist attack by an insider on the base. The rule is all the more disconcerting because these troops are in areas where they receive combat pay..."This selection of political correctness and safety concerns over force protection contrasts markedly with combat experience in World War II, Korea or Vietnam, where soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines were required to be armed — with loaded weapons — at all times," one official said. "This is a gross failure of leadership, and in all likelihood has contributed to the US casualty rate," the official said. The officer in Iraq said the unloaded-gun rule is a symptom of bigger military leadership problems, especially in the Army. "Unfortunately, many military leaders are little more than managers, and many of those have consciously chosen to reduce themselves to the level of permanent administrator, because it is safer for their careers than risking real decision-making," he said...A soldier in Afghanistan said the no-loaded-weapons rule is true for bases there as well, adding that soldiers are required to unload weapons after returning from "Indian country".

The Democrat Congress is trying to force Our troops to retreat from Iraq by cutting off funds. This is an act of perfidy, but making soldiers empty their weapons in an enemy combat zone is idiotic! You can and should change this policy immediately. I hope to ALMIGHTY GOD you will!

Maybe We Should Withdraw the Foot Soldiers and Bomb

I have always been a person who supports the Conservative position. Right or wrong the conservative position has been my way of thinking. It is why I have supported President bush through all the negativity that has been dumped on him during this "righteous" war against Islamist terrorism.
But if you read my posting earlier today we may have to finally realize that we have "the fox in the hen house". Al-Maliki could be the "fox"!
For this reason I am posting an opinion which I have to admit sounds not only plausible but perhaps the only thing to do at this point in time.
It hurts me deeply to admit we are in a situation that has no end, and I realize that Our withdrawal will result in genocide for certain. But if the elected leadership in Washington fails to grasp the threat to Us from Iran. It may be time to reconsider our commitment.
I agree with the readers comments that follow. We should abandon the "boots on the ground" approach, and bomb the living H**l out of any place in Syria, Iraq and Iran that we know is a haven for Terrorists.

The only positive solution to the whole problem in the Middle East liberal created lovefest,in my opinion, and our only way out of a quagmire produced by a gutless U.S. Congress who have all but waved a white flag to the murderous terrorists,along with the sad support by a weak liberal Israeli Prime Minister Olmert, who has also allowed the terrorists to increase their resolve in the fighting in Iraq and in destroying the sovereignty of Israel by his cowardice, is to pull out of Iraq,drop many "bunker buster" bombs on Iran to destroy Iran's nuclear development sites,and tell the Middle East to go to hell in a hand basket.
The Israelis apparently,with a cowardly pacifist at their helm, and doing nothing to rid themselves of this coward, are content to let the barbarians,once again,take away their God given right to freedom.
Thousands of years of asinine,foolish attempts at reasonable persuasion by pompous idealogue has done nothing, but for brief periods of time,to stop the ongoing bloodshed.
History is repeating itself and we would be best to concentrate on ridding our country of its treacherous politicians who have flaunted President Bush in a treasonous way, in the next election, and build a super strong defensive capability.

Very Difficult To Win With Enemies Within

President Bush has enough trouble keeping up the "good fight" in Iraq while fighting the "retreat at all cost" Democrats and a left wing Media printing only negative reports about the war.
He certainly does not need a fifth column at the seat of power in the new Iraqi government. It would seem, however,if you can believe the reports coming out of the "Middle East Research Institute" that he has a real problem with the Prime Minister of the new Iraqi government.
Those who don't spend all of their news gathering time watching network Tv or reading the Washington Post or New York Times know that Syria and Iran have a stake in this fight. Both countries have been coduits for weapons to the terrorists trying to drive Our servicemen and women out.
Now the following was uploaded to the internet this morning. When you read it realize the dilema we and the President have if it is true. The Left wing Congress will dance in the streets and raise a cold one.
Al-Maliki Calls to Withdraw Iranian Revolutionary Guards Commanders from the Iraqi Front in Order to Protect Them
The first document, labeled "secret, personal, and urgent," is a January 2007 letter from Al-Maliki's office to the Iranian Embassy in Baghdad, with copies to the presidency of the [Shi'ite party] Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq and to the Al-Shahid Al-Sadr organization." [2] In it, Al-Maliki requests that the commanders of the Mahdi Army, who have ties with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, be pulled off the Iraqi frontlines, in order to protect them from being arrested or killed. The following is a translation of the document:
"Secret, Personal and Urgent


"Based on a phone conversation with Sayyid Muqtada Al-Sadr and [after] consulting with [Iraq's National Security Advisor] Dr. Muwafaq Al-Rubai'i, in order to preserve our great achievements and in light of what the present circumstances demand, we ask to temporarily conceal the commanders of the Mahdi Army, who are connected to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, [and to remove them] from the front line [of battle] in order to protect them from being arrested or killed by the American forces. [The names of the commanders] are listed below. It would be best to send them to Iran for the time being, until the crisis passes.

"In addition, [we ask] to send the commanders from the second line [of battle] to the southern regions, since we know that intensive efforts are underway to persuade the Americans to leave the situation [there] as it is. All administrative and security arrangements for the transportation of these commanders have [already] been made.

"We ask you to implement [these orders] and report to us.

"[Signed,] Nouri Al-Maliki, Prime Minster [of Iraq]

"The Iranian Embassy [in] Baghdad,

"The presidency of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq,
"Huston we have a Problem", comes to mind!

Clinton Could Have Stopped The Jihad

In a camp not far from Peshawar a meeting between President Clintons emissary Abu Umar Ameriki(means American) and the leader of the Egyptian Jihad and doctor to Bin Laden, Shaykh Aymam Al- Zawahiri was held. The alleged purpose of the meeting was to let the Jihadist that President Clinton was not only willing to not interfere if the Islamists wished to depose the government of Mubarak in Egypt if the Islamists would reduce the terrorist threat to the United States. To sweeten the deal Clinton allegedly offered fifty million dollars in aid to the new government if they succeeded.
This meeting was held in 1997 after the two bombings of Embassies had taken place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Nairobi Kenya killing 80 people.
The man the Clinton emissary met with, Al-Zawahiri had alredy said in an interview with Yossef Bodansky during December 1997 "that a conflict between the Muslim nation (Ummah) and the United States is unavoidable. He further stated that they knew the weakness of the U.S. and Israel was their vulnerability to receiving dead bodies of their sons, and therefore, we shall throw in their faces the flesh of their sons, minced and grilled. The United States must pay the price, it must pay it dearly."
It would appear that our government intelligence would have picked up on this statement and informed the decision makers in Clintons Cabinet that it was impossible to bargain with this kind of monster. Apparently it was ignored for more important matters like Lewinski affairs!
Since the debacle that was the Dual headed Presidency of Bill and Hillary the world wide terrorist Jihad has grown exponentially.
The following quote is from a lengthy interview recently with this "doctor of death" Al-Zawahiri in Egypt.
"The road to reform, and Allah knows best, requires, in the Arabian Peninsula and the other Islamic lands, work on two plans. The first is in the near term, and seeks to strike Crusader and Zionist interests so that the ground erupts in flames under the feet of the Zionists and Crusaders in our countries and theirs and everywhere we are able to strike their interests until they leave our countries and stop their continuous and increasing interference in our affairs.
And the second plan is for the longer term, and depends on two pillars: the first is preparation for the confrontation, by going forth to arenas of battle like Iraq, Afghanistan and Somalia, and the second pillar is diligent work to change the corrupt and corrupted regimes through invitation, incitement, mobilization and planning, and to persevere in that however much time it takes or sacrifice it requires. And every time we achieve victory in one arena, that will ease - with Allah's help - victory in the next one.
And from this, the critical importance of the Jihad in Iraq and Afghanistan becomes clear, because the defeat of the Crusaders there - soon, Allah permitting, will lead to the setting up of two Mujahid Emirates which will be launch pads for the liberation of the Islamic lands and the establishment of the Caliphate, with Allah's permission."
At the conclusion of his interview he made a call for all Black soldiers wearing the uniform of the United States to throw off the uniforms of "their enslavers" and come over to the Islamist side!
If you don't believe the Democrat fight to get the troops out of Iraq won't cause a worst genocide since Hitler then you are brain dead or so hateful of the military that you want to see them loose again! May God not let that happen.

What Did You Do Daddy?

In the Academy Award movie Patton there was a speech given to the assembled army that Patton was to lead into battle that has relevance today as it did in 1943.During his forceful and inspiring speech he said the following:
" Thirty years from now, when you're sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee and he asks you, "What did you do in the great World War II," you won't have to say, "Well... I shoveled s**t in Louisiana."
If Senators Reid, Clinton, and the complete Democrat Senatorial delegation are asked this question 30 years from now by their grandchildren they will have to say: "Well I voted to cut off funds for the deployment of more troops being sent to Iraq." I got word from "Move On" that if I didn't vote to cut off funds and demand withdrawal immediately they wouldn't support Us in 2008. So you see. I did what any patriotic Democrat would do in that situation. I had no idea the Islamist "insurgents" would get their hands on a nuclear bomb and set it off in Chicago!
Nancy Pelosi will say: I took the President to court because he wouldn't listen to Me. You know I was appointed "queen" of the Congress, and the President had no right to ignore me.
Congressman Conyers could say :I decided that during war was as good a time as any to Impeach that "liar" in the Oval Office. How else could a little known Congressman get the attention I deserved?"
The Congressional Democrats have lost the civility that once was the identity of those Congressmen who came from the Deep South to show the Yankees how it should be done.Now The "blue dogs" are gone.
Today the rhetoric coming out of the mouths of most Democrats is the hate speech of a dock worker, with apologies to the the dock worker!
The hate literally drips from the mouths of not only those who are elcted to National office, but also from their supporters. Bloggers, newspaper writers and TV anchors have a rancor toward everything President Bush and his supporters attempt to do or has done.
Unfortunately since we took God out of government the split between good and evil has begun in ernest. Those who wish to keep our Country with the Judeo-Christian foundation on one side, and those that want desperatly to make us a Welfare secular society on the other.
Maybe it is time we call it like it is. There are Conservatives and there are Liberals, Democrat and Republican no longer identify who they are and what thay stand for!

Time For Congress To Act

Medicare is in serious trouble


Matt Moore, senior policy analyst at the National Center for Policy Analysis wrote the following piece today. I believe he has hit upon one of the major causes for this Countrys'financial disaster or the worst betrayal by Our Government if this program fails.
Unfortunately, for too many years the Congress has had no "spine" to address the growing problem that awaits when there are more Medicare recipients than there are workers to generate the taxes to support the program. His piece has been copied below in part.

"But this time, just maybe, it will turn out different, says Moore. This time the president and Congress have to do something about it:

An obscure provision in the 2003 law that added prescription drugs to Medicare requires the Medicare trustees to raise a flag if two consecutive reports predict Medicare will draw more than 45 percent of its funding from general revenues within the next seven years.
In short, if Medicare is expected to drain too much income tax money from the federal government within the next seven years, the trustees have to alert Congress.
The 2006 report was the first to cross the threshold, and this year's report required the trustees to officially sound the alarm.
Both the President and congressional leaders should take the warning to heart: Medicare is growing really fast, says Moore:

Within the next two decades, Medicare will drain almost a quarter of federal income tax revenue.

We hope Congress stops trying to destroy the President and will finally address some of the fiscal problems that must be fixed if this Republic is to survive, but I won't hold my breath until they do. Partisan politics has made a circus of our Congress, and I don't expect it to stop very soon.
It is time for Americans to elect fiscal conservatives who will save our dollar and our economy. We have had enough of the politicians who get to Washington by promising more government programs.The march toward Socialism has been relentless on both sides of the isle. Now it is time for us to stop it!

The Fifth Column IS Everywhere

The propagandists for the enemy we face is not an amorphous Islamist group. It is a well organized and fervently dedicated organization called Al Qaeda. It is operating world wide,and for our troops at war with them it is found in Afghanistan,and Iraq. Unfortunately the brain thrust and logistics comes from Iran. Even though the strings of their operations are being pulled by the Iranians. It would seem we are restrained from decapitating the head that leads this monster who would destroy us.
This week the newspaper read by over 240,000 people worldwide everyday, The International Herald Tribune, is aiding and abetting our enemy.
The New York Times owns the International Herald Tribune, but no mention was made in any of its' papers about the Add for "bids to build two nuclear power plants in Iran" that ran in the International Herald Tribune.
The add included telephone numbers and email addesses to use by anyone capable and willing to assist in furthering their nuclear program. It also made references to Banks that could be contacted for financial transactions.
All of this despite the United Nations numerous sanctions and demands that Iran cease their nuclear proliferation program!
If Iran is successful in getting these two reactors built in addition to their nuclear plants with 133 centrifuges now in working order. We can expect the Iranians will have nuclear bombs and missiles to deliver them in a few years at most.
This scenario will bring about a situation similar to the condition we have with North Korea today. Blackmail with nuclear treats on both sides of our continent, and blackmail hovering over the whole Middle East oil fields.
Here at home the NEA appears to be a "dupe" or willing accomplice of Al Qaeda in its' relentless curriculum overload with leftist text books that rewrite history, courses on diversity, cultural awareness and understanding. All of which are intended to warp young minds into believing that their Country is bad and something to be ashamed of.
With the curriculum packed full of negative "pseudo" facts and glorification of other cultures some schools have gone so far as to have "BE a Muslim" for a day. No not be a Jew or a Catholic for a day, but dress up like a Muslim and act and eat like a Muslim in the name of diversity education.
A perfect example of Muslim appreciation of our Culture is the Muslim Students Association that demanded, from George Mason University, the right to use the "Quiet Meditation Space" ( I believe this is the "PC" term for a chapel) in the Johnson Center on the Campus of George Mason U.for their prayer services five times a day. Other religious followers cannot come in at any time unless they remove their shoes and the women pray separately from the men as do the Muslims.
These Muslim Student Associations are located on over 150 American college campuses and were founded and continue to be supported by Wahhabists in Saudi Arabia with the express of spreading Wahhabism.
From this viewpoint it appears we are being attacked from all sides, and all of the subversion is not yet involved with the use of weapons.

Jewish Voters Should Be Concerned

Many American Jews fail to identify with their Biblical past because they are of the opinion that the past is all a bunch of myths and they react only if a racial slur is uttered against them.
Biblical history indicates this was true when they were banished to Egypt for their immoral aloofness to God.
It took Moses to lead a stubborn bunch of people back to their God honored homeland after wandering the desert for forty years.
Too many Jews, like many Christians and non believers ,have lost their appreciation of the main purpose for existing in this life. Love of God, and your fellow "man".
Democrats, as they falsely call themselves today, are not the Democrats of the 40's. Too many are socialistic psuedo-intellectuals who believe left wing internationalism trumps every thought of a true democracy.
For American Jews to vote for a party that has appeared to endeared itself to those who are determined to destroy the Jews in Israel and eventually to rule the world, is irrationality at its finest.
Rigt minded people don't hand a loaded gun to an apparent enemy, but this is what,sadly,many Jews and so called mainstream Americans did in 2006 by voting Democrat.
The "Blue Dog" Democrat is a schlemeil who votes for Democrats because his father or grandfather did without checking on the people who now claim to be Democrats.
Too Many are pure socialists of the Lenin/Stalin/Marxist philosophical mode.The poor and the downtrodden have benefitted little from these "flim flam" artists of taxation without representation.
They are also filled with hate as demonstrated by them with their relations with President Bush in the past six years.
The Holocaust remains stamped forever in my brain but apparently, not in the minds of people who voted "Democrat"in the elections of 2004 and 2006.
A repeat performance in 2008 will be a disaster for Jews.

Jewish Voters Should Look at Facts

Traditionally the Jewish voter has been pulling levers and marking ballots for Democratic candidates for decades. Maybe it is part of their liberal mindset that was brought with their ancestors who arrived in this Country fleeing from persecution and prejudice.
President Roosevelt was the personification of the liberalism they believe in, and the habit has followed them for decades ever since.
But now we have a set of circumstances which are entirely different and should be of concern for those who are Jewish and plan to vote in the 2008 election for President.
In 2004 Jews voted for Democrats 75% of the votes cast by Jewish voters. In 2006 the percentage grew to 87%. The trend does not seem to support a full knowledge of the Democrats philosophy and political tendencies.
There is not a Democratic candidate for president who is not for pulling out the troops in Iraq. In fact they have introduced Bills to withhold funds for the troops unless a date is set for withdrawal of the troops.So far President Bush's veto has kept this from being the law.
No matter how one feels about the reasons why or the means by which we got into this war. The one thing that is unequivocal and positive is that if we leave the Middle East we will leave Israel alone to face the worst threat to their existence since the Holocaust!
If the Democrats get elected Israel will be alone, and no amount of pressure brought to bear on congress by the Jewish lobby will give them enough weapons to ward off the avowed destruction that awaits them.
For this reason alone, baring all others. The people who value and consider Israel a Country worth preserving must not let the Democrats get the White House and continue to control Congress.
Not just Jewish people, but people of all faiths should not vote for people who are in favor of abandoning a friend in need!

More Bad Legislation in the Works

Yesterday Senator Daniel Inouye (Dem. Hi.) introduced a Bill that would mandate the raising of fuel standards for passenger cars to 35 miles per gallon by 2020.
Since 1975 the U.S. fuel standard has been 27.5 mpg and because cars have been getting smaller and lighter and trucks bigger and heavier we have lost the lives of 42,636 people on the highway last year alone. This is a figure you will never See in the newspapers or on television. They are too busy screaming about the number of soldiers killed in Iraq. To publicise this figure might not fit the outline for the leftist movement in this country.
Now the worst thing to happen since Pearl Harbor, Senator Diane Fienstine, has introduced a bill with co-sponsor Sen. Dorgan that would mandate a 4% raise in fuel conservation for passenger cars by 4% a year for every year after 2020.
This bill would cost the auto industry an estimated 114 billion dollars between 2010 and 2017 for design changes and retooling to make our cars lighter and the new engines to meet these requirements.
Each year 6,000 children age 16 to 20 are killed when they are driving a car! The number killed in 2002 was 7386.
The cost of medical treatment and rehabilitation of the other 300,000 teens injured in car wrecks is $42.3 billion!
Many of these deaths are alcohol and or drug related, but not all. Many are caused by accidents in the small cars that parents buy to satisfy the mobility needs of the modern teenager, and to put less of a burden on the parents to take them where they need and want to go.
Many accidents resulting in fatalities are the result of small cars being struck by large trucks or SUVs.
We don't hear enough about these deaths. The Media is too busy screaming about the troops "KIA" in Iraq in the past four years.
Instead of spending their time in Congress drawing up bills to "defund" and force withdrawal of Our troops in Iraq. These Hypocrites should be looking to legislate more safety on the highway for our children and ourselves.Not Bills that demand better mileage!
Instead, the Congress continues to raise the mileage requirement for passenger cars and is "lockstep" with environmental activists to pressure the American public into buying lighter hybrid gas and battery powered cars, or taking corn out of the mouths of the Worlds poor to make ethanol.
They have allowed double trailer trucks and hundreds of thousands of school buses without seat belts. All of this has made the highways not only more dangerous for all drivers, but most certainly contributed to the teen death rate. Each year the average car gets lighter and the trucks get bigger and pollute more.
The loss of Our men and women, who have been killed in action in Iraq is tragic. But the inattention of the teen death rate on the highways by Congress is criminal and shows the preoccupation (and pandering) with the "fanatically" anti-industrial environmentalists by the Washington politicians and the Main Stream Media.
By the way, these hybrid cars cost on average $3,000 dollars more than the same car powered by gasoline.This figure comes from the makers of the Honda cars.
With gas at the present price of $2.95 for regular per gallon. It will take ten years of average driving to make up the difference in cost, driving the hybrid that gets 46-50 miles per gallon. There has to be a better way. How about letting more foundries be built, and drilling for oil in ANWAR before only Russia and China have enough oil to sustain their quest for world power!
If only Democrats would quit worshiping at the altar of Ecology and Global warming!

They Will Never Quit!

Senators Byrd and Clinton obviously think they run the Country not the President, so they are pressing on with their quest to force President Bush to do their bidding, and at the same time help those "poor" Islamists in Iraq who have been killing our troops and their own country men.
The news reports indicate they listened to Bill Richardsons speech about "deauthorizing" the war in Iraq.
Today the senile old Senator from West Virginia and the Scandal surrounded power happy Senator from New York (aka Arkansas and Illinois)announced that they were preparing a joint Bill to "decommission the authorization and withdraw our troops." Byrd said: "The 2002 authorization to use force has now run its course."
This from a man who at his age probably has to ask an aid when he gets up in the morning what day it is!
Laws that don't have a date specific for their termination don't need any further action. I doubt the 2002 Bill carried a termination date, but maybe the two Senators think the American public will ignore that small detail when they present their ridiculous Bill to the Armed Services Committee they both serve on.
While Rep. Murtha lies about General Petraeus not briefing him.Records show the General spent 20-30 minutes giving he and Rep.Pelosi a private phone briefing.
The Department of Homeland Security is sending out an online press release that approves of the Transportation and Safety Administrations "sensitivity training" program about Islamic traditions.
I would like to alert all involved that we are falling into the trap that Europe is already entangled in.

Islam denies the truth of the Golden Rule.By the way, this dualistic ethic is the basis for jihad. The ethical system sets up the unbeliever as less than human and therefore, it is easy to kill, harm or deceive the unbeliever.
There have been other dualistic cultures. The KKK comes to mind. But the KKK is a simplistic dualism. The KKK member hates all black people at all times; there is only one choice. This is very straightforward and easy to see.
The dualism of Islam is more deceitful and offers two choices on how to treat the unbeliever. The unbeliever can be treated nicely, in the same way a farmer treats his cattle well. So Islam can be "nice", but in no case is the unbeliever a "brother" or a friend. In fact, there are some 14 verses of the Koran that are emphatic-a Muslim is never a friend to the unbeliever. A Muslim may be "friendly," but he is never an actual friend. And the degree to which a Muslim is actually a true friend is the degree to which he is not a Muslim, but a hypocrite."
Now after you have read this tell me you still believe dialogue will win over the extremist Islamist.A "religion" that does not recognize the value of human life cannot be bargained with!

Carpet Baggers In Washington?

Being somewhat of a history buff. I frequently find myself making mental comparisons of what is going on in the Congress of the United States today with what we as Americans have experienced in years gone before Us.
In the post Civil War years the South was not only ravaged by the hunger left in the wake of General Sherman's scorched earth march to the sea. They also had to deal with Northern "Carpet Baggers".
These parasites were in the South for only one reason--get as rich as they could off the destitute Southerners who were left.
They bought properties for pennies on the dollar and traded all manner of goods for inflated prices. They got their "pound of Flesh" off the backs of the defeated.
Today the "carpet baggers" are not waiting for the end of the Iraq war. The left wing Democratic party, through their agents Murtha, Pelosi, Reid and many others have done their best, or I should say their worst, to force the end to the Iraq war by the surrender and withdrawal (aka retreat).
Not only have both houses of Congress,controlled by Democrats,passed bills to put a date certain for withdrawal . The Democrats don't seem to even want to hear what is going on in Iraq.
Last month the Commanding General of Iraqi forces, David Petraeus, gave a closed door briefing to the Congress to report on the progress in Iraq, and only ONE DEMOCRAT showed up for the briefing!
This blatant refusal to hear first hand hard facts based information on the situation in Iraq is not only irresponsible. It is arrogant, pompous and unpatriotic! Power trumps Patriotism for the Democrats. All they seem to be concerned about is filling their pockets with lobbyists money and national security be damned.
The Democratic aspirant for the Oval Office from New Mexico, Bill Richardson, even suggested in his speech last week that Congress pass a bill "De authorizing: the war in Iraq.
Don't these fools consider for one moment that our withdrawal from Iraq will leave avoid that will immediately be filled with Terrorists.
Unlike the North Vietnamese who moved into South Vietnam when another left wing movement forced our troops to withdraw. The Islamist terrorists won't stop their war against the U.S. and Israel. This is a world wide war being waged by radical Islamists who want to convert the world, with the "sword" if necessary.
Unlike MacArthur we "shall not return' once we abandon Iraq. We will just have to fight them in another country. Or we could just surrender all together and wait for the mushroom clouds that will surely come our way if we don't stop them now.
General George Patton said""You're never beaten until you admit it." He also said:'Live for something rather than die for nothing."
Nothing is what you can expect when you surrender.WE lost over 6000 Marines in one day on Saipan fighting the Japanese and we lost 407,000 men and women armed forces personnel in world war two.
All deaths are tragic, but success or failure cannot be measured by how many troops we lost in how short of time, but whether we won or lost! Military victory is not attainable without casualties, because soldiers do die in battle.
Let us not allow the Leftists in this Country to prevail. Those who have died fighting for Us shall not have died in vain if we persevere.

Senator Reid Puppet For Bahr?

The pious looking man at the extreme left side of this blog is anything but a "holy man". He is Sheik Ahmad Bahr, acting Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, declared during a Friday sermon at a Sudan mosque that America and Israel will be annihilated and called upon Allah to kill Jews and Americans "to the very Last One." Following are excerpts from the sermon that took place last month, courtesy of MEMRI. Ahmad Bahr began: "'You will be victorious' on the face of this planet. You are the masters of the world on the face of this planet. Yes, [the Koran says that] 'you will be victorious,' but only 'if you are believers.' Allah willing, 'you will be victorious,' while America and Israel will be annihilated. I guarantee you that the power of belief and faith is greater than the power of America and Israel. They are cowards who are eager for life, while we are eager for death for the sake of Allah.
That is why America's nose was rubbed in the mud in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Somalia, and everywhere." Bahr continued and said that America will be annihilated, while Islam will remain. The Muslims "'will be victorious, if you are believers.' Oh Muslims, I guarantee you that the power of Allah is greater than America, by whom many are blinded today. Some people are blinded by the power of America. We say to them that with the might of Allah, with the might of His Messenger, and with the power of Allah, we are stronger than America and Israel." The Hamas spokesperson might as well have been the spokesman for Senator Harry Reid.
Ten other "representatives" of OURS took a paid vacation to The Sudan, Egypt, Greece and Germany using takpayers money. This goup of seven Democrats and 3 Republicans were lead by Democratic Majority leader of Congress, Steny Hoyes of Maryland. Never mind that at least two of the Countries visited have large majorities of American hating Muslims, Sudan and Egypt.
Last week the Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Mohammad Riza Baghri said the following: "We believe it would be to the benefit of both the occupiers( notice he did not say liberators) and the Iraqi people that Coalition forces withdraw immediately."
Congressman Martha and Pelosi could have used his speech to promote their Congressional agenda for our troops in Iraq.
I wonder if the "ten" would have gotten away with such a visit when we were fighting Hitler? In those days only men wearing uniforms and carrying rifles made the trip. Not people carrying briefcases and wearing thousand dollar suits!

Cure Worse Than The Disease?

Because the world has 880 million automobile owners, a great deal of commerce is conducted using trucks and millions of civilian and military airplanes fly the worlds skies each day. We have an rapidly unsatisfied need for the energy to move them.
Here in America the primary source for energy since the early 1900s has been petrochemical products. In 1976 when the U.S. had 315 oil refineries we consumed 2.0 million barrels of oil per day. Today we have 144 oil refineries. Not one has been built since 1976!
It is reported by the IEA that today in 2007 we consume 20.5 million barrels of crude oil per day. This is 20% of the worlds crude oil production.
World crude oil production for the 1st quarter of 2007 was 85.5 million barrels per day. The world consumption was 87 million barrels a day.
It is apparent that as world population grows the demand for for energy grows as well. However, reserves and refinery capacity are not keeping pace with the demand. Thus we have had an increase in price of the cost per barrel of crude oil raising from $12.80 in 1976 to $68.10 per barrel in April this year!
The oil embargo put on Iran and Kuwait by the U.S. has reduced the import
of crude oil by the U.S. by 5 million barrels per day. This further aggravates the imbalance between supply and demand.
In an attempt to satisfy the powerful Ecology lobby and those who worship at the altar of Al Gores Global Warming temple. The President has chosen to pursue the making of fuel from grain products.
Ethanol can be made from corn, the primary source for today's ethanol.
It can also be made from rice, soybeans, sugar cane, and wheat. These grain products are now competed for by the makers of fuels and the farmers who produce the milk, beef, pork, poultry and eggs that feed us and the world.
The amount of corn used to produce enough fuel for an SUV fill-up( 25 gal.) would feed a third world child for a year. Fill up every two weeks and you could use the grain processed to make the ethanol to feed 26 people a year.
It becomes apparent that the choice of alternative grain sources for fuel instead of drilling for the known available crude oil off shore and in ANWAR may have drastic unintended consequences for world hunger.
In Iowa alone there are currently 55 ethanol plants, and the building of new plants is proceeding at a furious pace.
Not only will the use of the projected 14 million tons of grain a year for fuel in the U.S. leave only 6 million tons of current grain production left for food. We have to be ready to supply countries like China, Japan, Egypt and Mexico who produce little or no grain products.
It is past the time when we should not listen to Ecologists who wish to see the U.S. return to the horse and buggy days, and start to consider the imminent food shortages and huge price increases for food products that we need to survive.
WE put our livestock and poultry industries in danger because our politicians including the President don't have the guts to stand up to the Ecology lobby and tell them to "get lost!"

ACLU Not What It Appears?

The next time you think about the ACLU and all the good things they allegedly do for civil rights. It would be good to reflect on just who founded this organisation and what the purpose was for its formation.
The ACLU was founded in 1920 by Roger Mark Baldwin an avowed Marxist, graduate of Harvard who was raised in Massachusetts as a agnostic Unitarian by wealthy parents.
He was a proclaimed socialist who worked for disarmament and eventual abolishment of the "State" itself. The abolition of the "property class" was also one of his goals.
He made friends with Anarchist Emma Goldman who was quoted as saying: "voting is the opium of the masses, Every four years you deaden the pain!"
Baldwin was executive director of the ACLU from 1920-1950, and served as an adviser until his death at 97 in 1981.
Our infamous Naval Academy graduate who "snuck" into the Oval Office, President Jimmy Carter awarded Mr. Baldwin the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1981 shortly before Baldwins death.
Not only did his political and philosophical attitude lean toward Marxist socialism, but he was an early member of the Marxist International Workers of the World Union. This Communist union called the "wobblies" in the early years is still active in the U.S. and Australia.
Although their membership is small, estimated membership of 2000 in the U.S. ,their presence is noted at all anti-war and anti-capitalist rallies as seen in the enclosed picture of their demonstration in Seattle, Wash. in 2007.
If the history of this organisation is not enough to want it "denuded" then I have eight more reasons,
1. They support the distribution of child pornography and oppose its suppression. The support NAMBLA
2. They use tax payers money to subvert the Constitution.
3. They oppose the 2nd amendment, right to bear arms.
4. The oppose tax exemptions for Churches.
5. They want to abolish the Boy Scouts as presently constituted.
6. They advocate open borders, and even assist illegal immigrant crossings.
7. They Defend Terrorists.
8. They have opposed every attempt to pass National Security Laws.
