Ninth Circuit Court Strikes a Blow for Al Qadea

As this Circuit Court has done so many times it has bent the Constitution over backwards to protect a man whom justice has found deserving of punishment. This is a case of Judicial irresponsibility!
Ahmed Ressam, an Algerian born immigrant to France, illegally entered Canada in 1992 with a fake passport. He was admitted despite the fake passport claiming to be seeking political asylum.
It is known that soon after he joined the Canadian terrorist cell GIA, an armed Islamic group affiliated with al Qaeda. He lived off the Canadian welfare system and supplemented his income with 30 known robberies of tourists to Canada.
December,1999 he was indicted by a U.S. grand jury for attempting to bring into the United States 124 lbs. of explosives in the tire well of his rental car. He was apprehended at the border of Port Angeles, Washington after disembarking from a ferry arriving from Vancouver.
Ressem was tried in Los Angles beginning 3/13/2001. He was convicted of nine counts of conspiracy to bring explosives into the U.S. for terrorist purposes. The target was L.A. airport. His prosecutors had sought a 35 year sentence but he was sentenced to 22 years when he agreed to co-operate with the prosecution of his two co-conspirators. He later failed to co-operate.
This man is not a citizen of the U.S. He is a known terrorist, and yet the Ninth Circuit Court overturned one of his convictions for the reason that the prosecution had not shown that the explosives were used in an act of terror! The Court in its' remand, demanded that the lower court must justify its' rationale behind any sentence it imposes the second time.
This notorious liberal court has been overturned and reversed in 75% of its' appealed decisions. This is a perfect example of the liberal anti-Constitution type of "non-justice" being administered by too many Judges in U.S. courts.

We Can't Have it Both Ways!

President Reagan was correct when he spoke of the USSR as the "Axis Of Evil". Time has past and the great patriot has gone to be with God, but his words are still appropriate today.
The News yesterday revealed that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov stated to the press that Russia has delivered to Iran anti-aircraft missiles. He said further shipments of other modern arms is under consideration.
Last year the Russians reluctantly joined with the UN to pass sanctions that forbid sale of nuclear technology and material to Iran, but the Russians insist that these sanctions do not apply to the one billion dollars arms deal Russia has made with Iran.
The missiles delivered are the "TOR-M1" which can shoot down any plane that might be attempting to attack Irans' Nuclear facility.
During the Korean war the North Koreans and Chinese Communist troops killed tens of thousands of Americans boys using Russian made Rifles and jet aircraft.
The Vietnam war illustrated once again that Russia supplied weapons to the North Vietnamese regulars and the Viet Cong.
In Iraq our brave soldiers and Marines are facing Russian made weapons once again. Russia is no friend of this country, and we should all wake up and realize that the Russian are still an "Axis of Evil" to this free world we call the United States.
Russia is helping those who kill our "warrior defenders" at every opportunity for a tidy profit. They are no friend of ours. I don't advocate military action against them, but it is time we all realize they are not an ally as the leftist media would have you believe.

The Erosion of U.S. Sovereinty

There is a growing threat to the Constitutional Sovereignty of the United States in the Halls of power in Washington, Mexico and Canada.
This threat comes in the form of the "Security and Prosperity Partnership Integration" agreement that has been brewing in the back rooms of the Seats of power and in a meeting held in 2006 in Cancun, Mexico.
This agreement is to be fought by one lone Republican in the Congress. Rep. Virgil Goode is preparing legislation to put the brakes on such an agreement. President Bush, much to my dismay, is all for it!
The agreement which would include, among many other provisions, the integration of illegal Mexican workers with legal Americans who work in the already bankrupt social security system. Thus making illegals who work illegally in the U.S. eligible for social security benefits.
The whole agreement which will be sold as a strengthening of security and prosperity is flawed from its' basic premise that the U.S. Mexico and Canada have "Shared beliefs in freedom, economic opportunity and strong Democratic institutions".
Canada is primarily socialist, and Mexico has a government that is very unstable, and a history of political change that could fall into disarray at ant time.
The "Security and Prosperity Partnership Integration" would in time place all three countries into a tri-lateral structure of Administrative Law. If this happens we might as well burn the Constitution!
Please write your Congress person and Senators to appose this attack on our Constitution.

Ghost of Clinton Strikes Again

The same Federal Judge who struck down parts of "The Patriot Act" has wielded her judicial wand against the fight to defeat terrorism. Judge Audrey Collins, a Clinton appointee in 1994 to the Federal Bench in Los Angeles, has ruled that Presidential Order 13334, cutting off funding for the terrorist organizations, PKK and LTTE has two parts which violate the Constitution.
The Kurdish Workers Party (PKK) and Tamil Tigers are both Marxist organizations trained in Lebanese PLO terrorist camps with large sums of money available to them to sponsor suicide bombing and other terrorist acts throughout the world. Their income, besides donations from American leftist groups, is obtained from sales of illicit arms, drug sales, extortion, robbery and smuggling. They have an estimated 86 million dollars annual income from these illegal activities.
Meanwhile, new House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi has announced that she is designating Congresman Silveste Reyes as the new Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. This man when asked about Al Qaeda said he believed it was composed of Shiites. It is predominantly Sunni Muslims!
The Committee which is charged with oversight of the U.S. 26 intelligence gathering activities, should be considering and studying the radical Islamic infiltration of our country. Instead Mr. Reyes announced his main thrust was to stabilize Iraq and "bring home our troops".
A 26 year veteran of the Border Patrol, influenced the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to vote against the war in Iraq, House Bill 4437. This was a tough bill submitted by Congressman Sensenbrennr(R.WIS) that would make it impossible for illegals to become legal U.S. citizens as well as more control over illegal immigration.
Reyes also voted against HRES 861 which was to support troops for Iraq, and rejected setting a time table for troop withdraw.
Wikipedia research shows that his Congressional District in Texas #16, is 77% Hispanic, Speaks only Spanish 70% and has an unemployment rate of 49.5%. Ms. Pelosi should have done better in her selection.

CAIR and Saudi Prince PUT Brakes On

The most watched TV Series last year was "24". The show was full of references to the Muslim threat of terrorism to America, and Jack Bauer managed to thwart all terrorist plots but one.
Now after watching the first two hours of this series it would seem that CAIR and Prince Alwaleed bin Talai have put the "brakes" on "24". The Prince is the worlds fifth richest man in the world with a estimated wealth of 26 billion dollars. He has used his money to buy substantial stock in Time Warner. Time Warner is parent company for Fox Network, and CNN.
In addition to his ownership in many American and Japanese companies, Prince has endowed both Harvard and George town Universities with 20 million dollars each. His financial influence in America is strong and dedicated.
Watching the first hour of "24" last night I was struck by the deliberate insertion of extraneous dialogue from numerous actors that included references to Muslim as a peaceful, patriotic group . One segment highlighted the attack on a family by a "bigot" neighbor that was portrayed as racial bashing even though both father and son of the Arab family turned out to be terrorists.
Fox did capitulate to CAIR in its' coverage of the Muslim riots in Paris last year by failing to mention that the rioters were primarily "home grown" Muslims.
The Movie Munich, and Clooneys Syriana also blame U.S. foreign policy for provoking Islamic terrorist. All of this illustrates the influence of CAIR and Prince Talais money and power.
Our enemies are radical Islamists who want to convert all to Islam, and be subject to Sharia Law or die. We don't need television programs mouthing propaganda for the Muslims. What we need to be doing is convincing Americans that we are in a fight for our very existence, and being suspicious of those who don't renounce radical Islam is normal and correct thinking.

Democrats in Washington Carry Water For Sunnis

What is going on in Congress is a page out of the "The Iraq Accord Front" led by an elected member of the new Iraq government. Sunni lawmaker Hussein Al Falluji, formerly a Saddam Hussein Bath Party member, was quoted recently as saying:"get out of Iraq (U.S. Troops) or set a timetable for withdrawal or the resistance will keep slaughtering your soldiers until judgment day." This is a man who was a member of the committee which drafted the Constitution that was unanimously ratified by the Iraqi people. Even though he was an opponent of the idea of a Constitution, he served as a member who drafted it. Now he isn't satisfied that the Shiites and Kurds have more power than the Sunnis. Many of whom were Saddam Bath Loyalists and henchmen.
With such a threat to American soldiers and Marines you would think all Americans would be incensed and support any troop support including massive re-enforcements to strike this threat down. Americans don't normally react well to threats. They fight back! As Patton said: America hates a quitter."
But not the Move on Political machine which is pulling the strings of such Washington lawmakers as Senators, Durbin, Kennedy, Jack Reed, Harry Reid, Boxer, Feistein, Obama. Levin and Biden. Not to be undone as the biggest "cut and run group" you have Pelosi, Murtah, Martin, Rohm Emanuel, Meehan Sanchez,and Morris chomping at the bit to help defeat our effort in Iraq by drafting legislation to limit or cut-off funding to the additional 21,00 troop deployment.
They use the ruse that they don't want anymore soldiers killed. As if any one does, especially not President Bush who actually has a heart! Would they rather see America loose another war because the leftists want America to become weak and effete like most of Europe has? Where has the will to win gone? We live in a day of instant gratification, but this Country didn't become a Republic in four years, so why should we expect to wrest Iraq from the "chains of Saddams' tyranny" in a short time. We still have troops in Japan, Germany, Korea, Bosnia long after the shooting stopped. People die in wars. It is tragic, but those brave men and women knew when that signed up it wasn't for the Peace Corps.!

Today I Am Ashamed of our Navy

An article in the bowels of the Internet reveals something that makes this Navy veteran ashamed of the service he was previously so proud to have served.
The United States Navy has courtmartialed a Naval Chaplin for falling to obey a superior officers order. The order given to James Klingenschmidt by his captain was to not use the words"in Jesus Name" in his public prayers.
Despite this order this Chaplin took part in a prayer meeting at the White House last winter, where he used the words "in Jesus Name" while giving a prayer in uniform. He is being terminated, loses his pension and evicted from his Naval housing as of 1/31/2007 per the orders of Vice-Admiral J.C. Harvey. This action has occurred despite the fact that due to Congressional pressure the Secretary of Navy rescinded the Naval Instruction 1730.7C which had forbid using a particular religions terminology. The SEC.Nav. ordered this instruction rescinded 2/21/2006.
The hypocritical part of this whole "UNGODLY" mess is that recently the Assistant Secretary of Defense gave a promotion and commendation to a Muslim Chaplin for his work at the Guantanamo Prison which, in addition to other assistance and counseling, aided the Muslim terrorists in getting prayer rugs, skull caps and 133 Muslim dishes added to their prison menu.

My issue is that during a time of war with a fanatical Islamic worldwide threat to our religious freedom and way of life. The Navy should not be promoting secular religious beliefs for Christians, and bending over backwards to accommodate Muslim needs!
Before anyone gets the idea that I don't know failure to obey orders is a court martial offense. I say, failure to obey an unjust order is not!

Mr. Ellison is Dead Wrong!

Recently elected to Congress, Mr. Ellison took his oath of office with his hand on the Quran owned historically by President Jefferson. This black native of Detroit , Michigan who converted to Sunni Islam, and confidant of many radical Black American Muslims said he used the book because Jefferson's realized the importance of the Muslim Faith.
This is not exactly the reason why Jefferson thoroughly read the Quran.
In the 10 centuries that preceded Jefferson becoming a member of the Continental Congress the Mediterranean and North African coastal villages were terrorized my Islamic "Barbary" pirates who raided their cities to pillage, kill the women and men taking what "booty" they found as well as the young girls for slaves and concubines.
In 1784 the Continental Congress met to discuss a solution to the raiding of American merchant ships in these waters by these same pirates. The majority of the delegates decided to pay ransom to the Muslims to allow safe passage thought these waters. Jefferson was one of the members that failed to agree with the concept of paying "tribute" to these Muslim Pirates.
Despite his objections President Adams arranged for payment of millions of dollars to the pirates for a few years.
Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin had been appointed to a Commission instructed to draw up some kind of a treaty with the Islamic "Barbary" states of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Tripoli to stop the raiding of U.S. Ships, since the fleet no longer had the protection of the British Naval might after the revolutionary war.
However, in 1801 after his inauguration. Jefferson sent the U.S. Naval warships U.S.S. Constitution, Constellation, Philadelphia, Chesapeake, and three other warships to wage war on the Barbary pirates. The war, called the "Barbary Wars" lasted from 1801 -1804. Fortunately we won, or the Muslims would sing--"from the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of America!"
What Mr. Ellison fails to realize or acknowledge is that Jefferson had a copy of the Quran so he would know what the Muslim beliefs, hates and plans were for the future. He studied it well and broke the back of the Barbary pirates. "One must know your enemy to defeat him", a famous tactician once wrote!

It Is Time To Tell Ecologist to Get Lost!

The shut down last week of the Druzhpa pipeline that carries crude oil from Western Siberia to West of Berlin, to Belarus should be a wake-up call to the Congress persons and Senators who have been lining their pockets with Campaign contributions from the Ecologist leftist movement in Washington.
The head of pipeline group Nansnet, Seajon Vainstok, shut of oil supplies to Belarus because they don't want reunification with Russia. This oil supplier is not a close friend of Russian President, aka dictator, Putin, as he was appointed to his position by Boris Yeltsin in 1999.
Putin favors Russias other oil giant supplier Gazprom. Ceo of this company is Putin close friend Alexei Miller. This company provides 25% of the Worlds gas production, and has 30.4 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
Transnet controls the worlds largest pipeline group, Sarbalin-2. All major oil companies that want to export Russian oil have to negotiate with Tsansnet.
In addition to the pipeline to Western Europe that pumps 2 million barrels a day through it. Transnet has built a pipe line through China to supply oil to China, South Korea, Australia and Japan. Varnshtok has temporaraly diverted the oil normally going to Western Europe to China.
China produces 4% of the Worlds energy, but consumes 13%. China has a deal with its' friends in Russia to obtain oil at reduced prices so their State owned industries and Peoples Liberation Army can purchase gas at 1/3 rd the price of the gas in Europe. China is a growing economical power by 9% per annum, and will need even more energy in the years ahead.
Because of the tension between Russia and Germany, Varnshtok has cut off oil to Germany. Germany has 130 days of oil reserves and Poland claims to have 70 days reserve. If a cut in supply lasts it could precipitate an international crisis worse than the "cold war". Russia is stronger and more powerful, because of their oil control over Europe and Asia, then they were during the Zarist era or the Soviet era.
The biggest customers of Russian crude oil are Shell and BP oil companies.
Ernst Udrlous, President of Germanys' Foreign Intelligence Service has been quoted as saying, "this cut off of oil from Russia underscores the importance of energy security." If only Americans would realize this important fact and begin to build more refineries and drill in forbidden places that are known sources of oil independence for America.
It is estimated that 33 of the 48 largest oil producing nations have reached their maximum capacity. Our energy needs grow daily as our population increases. Where will this energy come from if we cannot drill or build nuclear power plants thanks to our "tree huggers".
While we dither away our time to find our own supplies and ways to produce oil self sufficiency. The Conglomerate Royal Dutch Shell has signed a "secret Protocol" with Russia to sell 1/2 of their Sakhalin-2 project to The other oil giant Gasprom for 7.4 billion dollars. This could put an even greater strain on the already maxed out places like Suadi Arabia. What then? Will WWIII be fought over energy? And from this we must realize we need a large presence in the middle East!

A new Loyalty Oath

The one way we Americans can be reasonably certain that a Muslim who either is a citizen or resident visitor is loyal to the country he or she lives in is to implement a new Loyalty oath.
It need not be a lengthy tome, but a simple denunciation of a historical statement attributed to Muhammad.
The following is a quote from the "Saheh Musslim",a collection of
Hidath traditions of Muhammad and early Muslims that is generally considered reliable. Muhammad allegedly said: "Fight in the name of Allah and in the way of Allah. Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah….When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them….If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya [a special tax levied on non-Muslims]. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them. (Sahih Muslim 4294)
If this is a true revelation of what the Founder of this new religion said. It is a problem every Muslim must address if he is dedicated to being an integrated and assimilated American. The only way the Muslims can be trusted is for them, their clerics and Imams to renounce this pledge to violence if all else fails in their quest to conversion!

Evil Makes no Compromise or Peace

It will take a radical change in the way Americans look at the problem we have with Radical Islam and how we fight it. If we hope to win.

The Free worlds current view and attitude toward Wahhabi Muslim clerics is that Islam can be integrated into our secular, Democratic society. This is nothing more than ,at the worst deceit, and at its' best Western fiction .It is being promoted unfortunately, by not only the Media but some of our Countries Leadership.

We will not be victorious as long as we fail to realize that Islam as practiced by the sect founded in Saudi Arabia, Wahhabi Muslims consider all of us "Kafirs",unbelievers who must submit to Sharia law or be eliminated. They recognize no other laws or Constitution than the Quran.

There isn't a strictly codified uniform set of laws pertaining to Sharia. It is more like a system of devising laws, based on the Quran, Hadith and centuries of debate, interpretation & precedent. Before the 19th century, legal theory was considered the domain of the traditional legal schools of thought. Most Sunni Muslims follow Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki or Shafii, while most Shia Muslims follow Jaafari (Hallaq 1997, Brown 1996, Aslan 2006)."

This is the definition found in the Wikapedia archives, and once you have understood that all who strictly adhere to this "law" will fail to obey and assimilate under our legal system and Constitution. There at least six certain truths which we must realize before we can hope to defeat this Radical Islamic threat.

1. We must realize that we cannot allow a National conscience to dictate how we fight this fight. The rules must change

2. We must realize that radical Islam wants to dominate or eliminate Kafirs, as they call unbelievers.

3. Radical Islam has no rules of engagement or limitations on destruction of "collateral damage" as we do.

4. They have no single leadership except the Quran. With this as their guide they will accept no law other than Sharia law, nor will they accept any other political system or ideology.

5. They have set no time schedule for their "conversion". This has been going on for hundreds of years, and only now has become worldwide violence.

6. This is a battle for the control of our minds and bodies, and as we have seen "fanatics" can do some horrible things to accomplish their goal.

What then is the way to not only survive, after all "better red than dead" was a once popular phrase with the American left.We must not accommodate and accept political leaders and clerics who advocate Sharia law instead of our laws and Constitution.

Since it is impossible to differentiate between peaceful law abiding Muslims and radical Islamists we must first identify those who are are enemies within and without. A good start would be by using the tools we have available, previuosly used when we had treats from Hitler and Communist Russia. Surveillance, wire taping, listening to suspects telephone and emails. The liberals will fight this as will CAIR!

A good place to start is the infiltration of Mosques of suspected radical Imams and Clerics. Mass deportation won't be acceptable or workable in a society that cannot even control our illegal immigration.

Once we have identified the Clerics who are using their position to preach against our way of life we should arrest, jail or deport them. if for no other reason than inciting violence against our country.

Unfortunately we found out with the exposure of the UN scandal involving Saddam and Most European countries, that have been co-opted by multiculturalism, that we have no real friends. We are an island alone. The beacon of freedom and bastion of democracy, hated, despised by too many countries that should be grateful for our help and sacrifices to save them.

We may have to break with The American tradition of "fair play and decency"for a while, to win this war with the "Radical Isalm". They will make no compromise or accommodation.

We began dialog with terrorists during President Carters administration, and we are still talking while they plot and kill.

It will take radical action to defeat a radical threat!

Multiculturism Trumps Islamic Infiltration

Not only has the Army set up a school for junior officers to teach them how to be more culturally sensitive. This facility trains an estimated 2000 future leaders of our Army troops into battle with a years indoctrination into cultural sensitivity.
Now the latest example of "multiculturalism" trumps Islamic infiltration has taken place in Washington, D.C.
The Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England has personally promoted Wahhabi trained Navy Chaplin, Abukena Mohammed Sarfulislam, from Lieutenant to Lt. Commander, and pinned the Joint Services Commendation Medal on the new LTCDR.
This is the first time a promotion has been personally awarded by a high ranking Defense Department official. But this was done for a native born Bangladesh immigrant who became a U.S. Citizen in 1995, and serves as the Muslim Chaplain at the Marine Headquarters at Quantico, Va.
His award follows shortly the revelation that Army Captain, James Joseph Ye, a West Point graduate, was charged with mishandling classified information. He was never prosecuted and resigned from the Army. Another Muslim brother, Army Sargent Hasan Akbar "fragged" the tent of his Superior officers the night before the Army began its' invasion of Iraq. His grenade attack killed 2 officers an wounded a dozen more.
The strange thing about this promotion and medal award is that this Muslim Chaplin received these rewards for arranging prayer mats, skull caps and copies of the Quran for the Muslim prisoners at "Gitmo" prison. Not satisfied with those accomplishments he arranged for the taxpayers to offer 113 different Muslim dishes for the prisoners to eat. Sounds like a five star hotel menu not a prison. Then he set up sensitivity training for the guards so they would not offend the Muslim"terrorist" prisoners religious beliefs.
At the same time his diligent and patriotic work managed to get a Muslim Mosque built on the Base of Quantico Marines. All for the 24 Muslim Marines stationed at Quantico!
The Army also opened in October a Mosque at West Point for the 32 cadets who are Muslims, and have recruited extensively in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia for enrollees into the Cadet training program at The "Point." Two Countries known to be full of Radical Jihadists. Whats wrong with this picture. There are over 10,000 Muslims in the U.S. Army. Presumably loyal to America. The Marines have 462 Muslims in the Corps. We are fighting Radical Islam for the very existence of our way of life. Why do we openly "shoot ourselves in the foot" by encouraging the possible "Jihadist sleeper" at every opportunity. Would we have recruited from the Hitler Youth during WWII?
And I almost forgot Congressman Ellison was sworn in with his hand on the Quran, not the traditional Bible.
Ltcdr. Sarfrilislam may well be a loyal and patriotic Navy imam, but he did counsel "terrorist suspected" prisoners privately in their native tongues of Urdu or Arabic. Who knows what transpired during those conversations.
The thing that troubles me is no other service person has been publicly promoted and decorated by a Defense Department official other than this Muslim imam. Surely there must be some Sailor, Marine, Airman or Army person serving in a combat role who would deserve such a distinguished promotion. But then that wouldn't be the politically correct thing the Government wanted to do!

The Time is Now

"Iran's nuclear chief said his country has produced and stored 250 tons of the gas used as the feedstock for uranium enrichment, state-run television reported Friday.
Vice President Gholamreza Aghazadeh, who is also the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said Iran has kept the uranium hexaflouride gas, or UF-6, in underground tunnels at a nuclear facility in Isfahan to protect it from any possible attack.
Today, we have produced more than 250 tons of UF-6. Should you visit Isfahan, you will see we have constructed tunnels that are almost unique in the world," State-run television quoted Aghazadeh as saying...."Enemies have assumed that they can prevent the progress of the Iranian nation through psychological war and issuing resolutions, but they will be defeated," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying on state-run TV.

The two pieces quoted above come from"Jihad Watch", and they reinforce my previous blog that stated we cannot afford to dither away our opportunity to destroy Irans' capacity to build a nuclear bomb. If it takes a nuclear bomb to do it. Let it happen before they have built the facility so deep in the ground that it is nuclear proof. The Iranians are fomenting the violence of the "insurgents" in Iraq, and are participating in the street bombing and attacks on both the U.S. military and Iraqi civilians.

We must not let the power of the leftist press and those who would like to see us loose another war deter our attack on the identified treat that Iran presents to our way of life and the stability of the Middle East. The longer we wait the stronger they get, and the weaker we become.

Still A Bad Looser

In today's edition of Townhall, Mr. Patrick Buchanan takes another of his continuous pot shots at President Bush.
His article is typical of a man who has managed to get his face on National television, but failed in 1992,1996 and 2000 to convince enough Americans that he was worthy of sitting in the "Oval Office".
One particularly galling cheap shot in his tome was the following. "Surveying what appears an impending disaster in Iraq and U.S. foreign policy was a real "low blow" from a man who knows better.
He concludes his "tripe" with this: Meanwhile brave young Americans, the true idealists and casualties of the "neocons", 20 a week come home in caskets to Dover...".
He should be writer for the New York Times. First the word "Neocons",so frequently used as a derisive word is defined as a new conservative. Hardly the correct word for those who believed that Saddam Hussein's terrorist dictatorship posed a threat to the stability of a region, that because of radical ecologist influence, is our main source for the life blood of our way of life, oil!
With the Democratic Congress and the Leftist main stream media daily calling for a withdrawal form this Iraqi "quagmire" we don't need "blowhards " like Buchanan cheap shoting the President. He, Mr. Bush, has brought the end to Saddam Hussein, a known terrorist himself, as well as financial supporter of terrorism. He has brought free elections to Iraq. A constitution is in place, and tens of thousand of Iraqi volunteers are being trained as police and soldiers to defend themselves in time.
Yes there are brave men and women dying in Iraq, and this is the unavoidable tragic consequence of fighting tyranny. Buchanan Knows this.
I wonder what he would have written when over 9000 Marines were killed in the invasion of a rock called Tarawa. Or what would he have said about the thousands of American merchant mariners who died bringing supplies to "Uncle Joes" communists in Russian before we invaded Europe. After all Hitler did not attack us, and the war was thousands of miles away.
Bush needs encouragement and good advice, not derisive comments. In another time this would be giving aid and comfort to the enemy!

Diplomacy or Nukes?

This Great Country invented and used the nuclear bomb to end the war against Japan, and thus saved tens of thousands of American troops lives. These men would certainly have been killed had we continued our "island hopping" campaign to invade Japan.
Since 1945 we have had many opportunities to save American lives by using the "A" bomb, but the diplomats prevailed and it has remained in "moth balls".
To recall just a few historical occasions where American lives could have been saved I list, 1968 when the North Koreans seized the USS Pueblo and imprisoned the crew for eleven months. In 1951 the Chinese invaded North Korea in massive force and the prolonged and brutal retreat of Marines and soldiers who were trapped near the Yalu river. The war lasted for two more years with the death of thousands of American servicemen while diplomats dithered away the opportunity to win the war. The war which is still not over. We have a truce not victory!
In Vietnam we lost 55,000 servicemen because of the support of the Chinese communists with Russian weapons. A strategically dropped "A" bomb on Hanoi would have ended this horrible war in a nano-second!
In 1979 during the "reign" of President Carter the Iranians seized the American embassy and held hostage 55 Americans for 444 days while diplomats talked. Now Iranians President Mahmoud Amadinejad is furiously developing a nuclear bomb to eradicate Israel and if possible attack the United States with a nuclear bomb. This is not conjecture, but the stated objective of this maniac.
It would seem to this blogger that the leaders of this country as well as the "intelligentsia" of academia and the media believe it is more important to fear escalation of warfare than it does of our possible defeat. This perception of worrying what the "World" thinks of us and the fear of escalation is evident in every attack on Americans since the end of World War II. Perhaps we should reflect on the password given to the soldiers in the Army George Washington lead across the Potomac to defeat the Hessian's during the battle of Trenton. "Victory or Death". Sooner or later we will be the victim of a nuclear attack if we are unwilling to deploy our own strategic nuclear weapons to take out those who we know from their own words, are dedicated to our destruction. Talking never produced any lasting peace for this country.

Don't Send Your Child or Money to Duke University

Having been a person who was briefly involved in College athletics at a major University I was particularly upset when the story of the alleged rape of a non-student woman by members of the Duke Lacrosse team appeared in the Press.
The Liberal "rag" named New York Times filled their stories and editorial pages with opinions of the heinous attack on a poor defenseless black girl by these "bullies" who happened to be members of the University Lacrosse team.
The "White" district attorney, Michael Nifong" jumped at the opportunity to prosecute these white boys who had raped a black woman. This may or may not have been motivated by the fact that Nifong is the District Attorney in a predominantly Black District. The NAACP Did their usual act and "jumped in" with both feet, demanding Justice for this poor woman.
There is just one problem to this story. This was all done before any evidence had been found or presented to show the charged Lacrosse players actually raped this woman. Later it came out that the DNA taken from the accused boys confirmed that they did not rape the woman, but semen was found in the woman from having sex with more than one other man. This evidence was withheld from the defense until later, and when it leaked out the "district attorney" had to reluctantly drop the rape charges.
The Duke University in their further quest to advance their "Diversity Program" cancelled the remaining scheduled Lacrosse games and summarily fired the coach. Good thing they were not football players or they would have had a real "conundrum" on their hands. But, who watches Lacrosse besides a few hundred people who are friends and family of the players.
The terrible thing about this event is that the University is bending over backwards to violate the Law of the Land regarding"Affirmative Action" by having a program with full staff and a million dollar budget per year to promote diversity in the faculty and student population that targets women and minority recruitment. The following is a statement from the President of the University, Mr. Brodherd.
“I am greatly relieved for the students and their families that the most serious of the charges has been dropped. Given the certainty with which the district attorney made his many public statements regarding the rape allegation, his decision today to drop that charge must call into question the validity of the remaining charges."
I searched the archives of the Duke University Press announcements, and could find no statements by either President Brooderd or Provost to the Academic Council, Peter Lang that even hinted they felt the accused students were innocent before the rape charges were dropped.
Duke has a Department Level Diversity program dedicated to increasing the number of minority students and faculty. A cusory read of the lengthy plan reveals nothing about the academic qualifications necessary to enter or teach at Duke. Quotas appear more important than academics to this blogger.
The Provosts 10/19/2006 report on "the Faculty Diversity Program" is full of references to "numbers of Minority Faculty" and concludes with this telling statement. " We must seek opportunities to support disciplinary and interdisciplinary progress on issues of race, ethnicity, and gender in the Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Professions."
Don't be deluded parents into thinking your children and dollars are going to a University that will present the best faculty and curriculum. What they will get is a faculty more concerned with continuing "Affirmative Action" than teaching and defending your child if he happens to get into the hands of the District attorney, guilty or not! It is eight months since these innocent young men were charged with a crime they were falsely accused and indicted for having committed. It is way past time for the United States Attorney General to get involved. If the colors were reversed he would have stepped in by now!

The Hanging Puts An End To Iraqi Tyrant

With the hanging of the Iraqi tyrant early this morning, closure on an era of genocide and torture ended. The gassing of thousands of Kurds with the "WMD" that "Saddam Didn't have" was enough of a reason to give this man the death sentence. And the well known fact that he supported terrorism by giving financial aid to suicide bombers families, and supported their training was enough of a reason for our gallant troops to invade and depose this maniac. His capture began the eventual process of the Iraqi peoples gaining retribution for his atrocities to his own people.
No matter how hard leftists and their Democratic minions try to minimize this event. The fact remains that another despot like Hitler and Stalin has been dispatched to his eternal reward or punishment. My sentiments are , Bone Voyage and good riddance to bad rubbish!

A Picture Speaks Volumns About Islamists

The picture to the right is a picture of a young girl who is the living example of failed application of Sharia Law. A failed beheading of a Christian Indonesian girl is an example of the Sharia Law that says Muslim converts to any other religion will be killed.
These kinds of atrocities are being committed every day around the world while in the United States a Congress full of Pacifism, self-hating, complacent Congressmen and Congresswomen are trying to pass a law forbidding with fear of withholding of government funds or civil liability any Security worker at airports or point of departure from using an kind of "implied racial Profiling".
S. 2138 "The End Racial Profiling Act of 2007" is a resurrection of a failed attempt by Congress woman Pelosi and Congressman Conyers to pass an amendment to the Patriot act which would have done essentially the same thing.
The 2007 version speaks to,"relying to any degree on race, ethnicity,national origin, or religion in selecting which individuals to subject to routine or spontaneous investigatory activities or deciding upon the scope and substance of law enforcement activity following the initial investigatory procedure may be subject to federal funding default, and potential civil penalties for any agencies which when challenged, cannot prove that they did not racially profile anyone they questioned, detained searched or seized contraband from." Can you imagine the Joy ACLU and "ambulance chase lawyers" would have with this law which in short says, "If accused you are guilty if you cannot prove otherwise."
Who do these people represent, CAIR? The people doing all the atrocities such as the 9/11 attack on New York were Muslim extremists. Now some imbeciles or shills for CAIR want to pass this law!
It is estimated that 5-10 percent of the Muslims residing in America are supporters of Islamist extremism. If only 10-15% of the world Muslim Population is a supporter of Radical Islamism we have a potential world wide pool of 125-200 million potential terrorists in the world. This is far more people than Hitler and Stalin together had in their quest to defeat American values and power! Germany alone has estimated a population of 32,000 Islamists who are sympathetic to the Muslim extremist position and actions.
Remember Islamists believe only Sharia law should rule. This law kills adulterers, those who change to another religion, tolerate no homosexual behavior and cut of hands of thieves.

It appears that this new Law is a reaction to the group of Imams who caused a deliberate disruption on an airplane in Minnesota and were removed from the plane.

A Very Merry Christmas to All Who Believe

In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be registered, each to his own town. Thus began over 2000 years ago a religious revolution that has lasted until today when it is daily under fire from atheists, Communists, Agnostics and all their minions. Make no mistake the secularists would like to erase any trace of religious belief if they can so they can develop their idea of a perfect society that includes abortion at any time before birth, euthanasia for old, infirmed and mentally ill people who are "just taking up space".

These are just a few of the programs which will occur once the majority of people in the United States renounce God! Without God and religion their is no need for a conscience or guilt and anything goes as long it is good for the "state".

My hope and prayer for all Americans, no matter what their faith, is a return to their childhood belief of what is good and what is evil. Their God can be called whatever suits them as long as we believe we are not just matter floating around for a short time in a cosmos which will go on until the "big bang' returns. Without some religious belief and the humility to realize that we didn't just happen we are certainly destined for a terrible fall!

Perhaps Christians Should Declare a Fatwa

Its the season of Joy and celebration for all Christians. We celebrate the Birth of Our Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas as has been the Custom and religious obligation of all Christians for Centuries.
But Newsweek Magazine Decided to throw a little controversy into this Christmas season.
In their December 18th issue they feature an article written by Lisa Miller that has the Painting by Francesco Mancino of "The Holy Family" on its' cover. From this beautiful picture one might think this is an article highlighting the reverence that 80% of the United States nearly 300 million people have for the Birth of Jesus. Wrong! The article is about a "A Nice Jewish Boy". The article refers to the First Century Jewish Family Values That Shaped Christianity. The reference to time ignores the well established reference points of BC (before Christ) and AD (Year Of Our Lord), using instead the designation of all agnostics CE (Common ERA). The article is filled with quotes from well known feminist and promoter of "The Gnostic Gospels", Elaine Pagel.
The ultimate blasphemous statement is Ms. Millers description of how The Virgin Mary let Joseph Know she was "with Child". "She then tells Joseph she is pregnant and he is not the father".....Never referring to The Christ Child as a Devine incarnation of the Son Of God. She refers to "the figure they believe to be the Son of God."
If Christians were like Muslims a Fatwa would have been issued by one of the Church leaders by sundown the 19th of December. As you may or may not recall we had a Fatwa issued for Salman Rushdie for writing "The Satanic Verses" and in 2002 Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestares issued a death Fatwa for Jerry Falwell for calling Mohammad a terrorist.
In the 1600s this woman would have been burned at the stake for her blasphemy. Fortunately we no longer burn such people, but we can boycott the magazine she writes for, and I for one will never pick up another copy of Newsweek.
If such an article were written about Jewish or Muslim dogma there would be an outcry of antisemitism or Muslim Hatred, but these days it seems like some have declared open season on Christianity. It is past time we Christians take a stand and use our purchasing power to boycott any organization that is anti -christian, including candidates for election and those holding office.
