More Bad Legislation in the Works

Yesterday Senator Daniel Inouye (Dem. Hi.) introduced a Bill that would mandate the raising of fuel standards for passenger cars to 35 miles per gallon by 2020.
Since 1975 the U.S. fuel standard has been 27.5 mpg and because cars have been getting smaller and lighter and trucks bigger and heavier we have lost the lives of 42,636 people on the highway last year alone. This is a figure you will never See in the newspapers or on television. They are too busy screaming about the number of soldiers killed in Iraq. To publicise this figure might not fit the outline for the leftist movement in this country.
Now the worst thing to happen since Pearl Harbor, Senator Diane Fienstine, has introduced a bill with co-sponsor Sen. Dorgan that would mandate a 4% raise in fuel conservation for passenger cars by 4% a year for every year after 2020.
This bill would cost the auto industry an estimated 114 billion dollars between 2010 and 2017 for design changes and retooling to make our cars lighter and the new engines to meet these requirements.
Each year 6,000 children age 16 to 20 are killed when they are driving a car! The number killed in 2002 was 7386.
The cost of medical treatment and rehabilitation of the other 300,000 teens injured in car wrecks is $42.3 billion!
Many of these deaths are alcohol and or drug related, but not all. Many are caused by accidents in the small cars that parents buy to satisfy the mobility needs of the modern teenager, and to put less of a burden on the parents to take them where they need and want to go.
Many accidents resulting in fatalities are the result of small cars being struck by large trucks or SUVs.
We don't hear enough about these deaths. The Media is too busy screaming about the troops "KIA" in Iraq in the past four years.
Instead of spending their time in Congress drawing up bills to "defund" and force withdrawal of Our troops in Iraq. These Hypocrites should be looking to legislate more safety on the highway for our children and ourselves.Not Bills that demand better mileage!
Instead, the Congress continues to raise the mileage requirement for passenger cars and is "lockstep" with environmental activists to pressure the American public into buying lighter hybrid gas and battery powered cars, or taking corn out of the mouths of the Worlds poor to make ethanol.
They have allowed double trailer trucks and hundreds of thousands of school buses without seat belts. All of this has made the highways not only more dangerous for all drivers, but most certainly contributed to the teen death rate. Each year the average car gets lighter and the trucks get bigger and pollute more.
The loss of Our men and women, who have been killed in action in Iraq is tragic. But the inattention of the teen death rate on the highways by Congress is criminal and shows the preoccupation (and pandering) with the "fanatically" anti-industrial environmentalists by the Washington politicians and the Main Stream Media.
By the way, these hybrid cars cost on average $3,000 dollars more than the same car powered by gasoline.This figure comes from the makers of the Honda cars.
With gas at the present price of $2.95 for regular per gallon. It will take ten years of average driving to make up the difference in cost, driving the hybrid that gets 46-50 miles per gallon. There has to be a better way. How about letting more foundries be built, and drilling for oil in ANWAR before only Russia and China have enough oil to sustain their quest for world power!
If only Democrats would quit worshiping at the altar of Ecology and Global warming!

They Will Never Quit!

Senators Byrd and Clinton obviously think they run the Country not the President, so they are pressing on with their quest to force President Bush to do their bidding, and at the same time help those "poor" Islamists in Iraq who have been killing our troops and their own country men.
The news reports indicate they listened to Bill Richardsons speech about "deauthorizing" the war in Iraq.
Today the senile old Senator from West Virginia and the Scandal surrounded power happy Senator from New York (aka Arkansas and Illinois)announced that they were preparing a joint Bill to "decommission the authorization and withdraw our troops." Byrd said: "The 2002 authorization to use force has now run its course."
This from a man who at his age probably has to ask an aid when he gets up in the morning what day it is!
Laws that don't have a date specific for their termination don't need any further action. I doubt the 2002 Bill carried a termination date, but maybe the two Senators think the American public will ignore that small detail when they present their ridiculous Bill to the Armed Services Committee they both serve on.
While Rep. Murtha lies about General Petraeus not briefing him.Records show the General spent 20-30 minutes giving he and Rep.Pelosi a private phone briefing.
The Department of Homeland Security is sending out an online press release that approves of the Transportation and Safety Administrations "sensitivity training" program about Islamic traditions.
I would like to alert all involved that we are falling into the trap that Europe is already entangled in.
The following excerpt explains in full the wasted effort we Americans are spending on the attempt to assimilate and cozy up to the Islamists.

Islam denies the truth of the Golden Rule.By the way, this dualistic ethic is the basis for jihad. The ethical system sets up the unbeliever as less than human and therefore, it is easy to kill, harm or deceive the unbeliever.
There have been other dualistic cultures. The KKK comes to mind. But the KKK is a simplistic dualism. The KKK member hates all black people at all times; there is only one choice. This is very straightforward and easy to see.
The dualism of Islam is more deceitful and offers two choices on how to treat the unbeliever. The unbeliever can be treated nicely, in the same way a farmer treats his cattle well. So Islam can be "nice", but in no case is the unbeliever a "brother" or a friend. In fact, there are some 14 verses of the Koran that are emphatic-a Muslim is never a friend to the unbeliever. A Muslim may be "friendly," but he is never an actual friend. And the degree to which a Muslim is actually a true friend is the degree to which he is not a Muslim, but a hypocrite."
Now after you have read this tell me you still believe dialogue will win over the extremist Islamist.A "religion" that does not recognize the value of human life cannot be bargained with!

Carpet Baggers In Washington?

Being somewhat of a history buff. I frequently find myself making mental comparisons of what is going on in the Congress of the United States today with what we as Americans have experienced in years gone before Us.
In the post Civil War years the South was not only ravaged by the hunger left in the wake of General Sherman's scorched earth march to the sea. They also had to deal with Northern "Carpet Baggers".
These parasites were in the South for only one reason--get as rich as they could off the destitute Southerners who were left.
They bought properties for pennies on the dollar and traded all manner of goods for inflated prices. They got their "pound of Flesh" off the backs of the defeated.
Today the "carpet baggers" are not waiting for the end of the Iraq war. The left wing Democratic party, through their agents Murtha, Pelosi, Reid and many others have done their best, or I should say their worst, to force the end to the Iraq war by the surrender and withdrawal (aka retreat).
Not only have both houses of Congress,controlled by Democrats,passed bills to put a date certain for withdrawal . The Democrats don't seem to even want to hear what is going on in Iraq.
Last month the Commanding General of Iraqi forces, David Petraeus, gave a closed door briefing to the Congress to report on the progress in Iraq, and only ONE DEMOCRAT showed up for the briefing!
This blatant refusal to hear first hand hard facts based information on the situation in Iraq is not only irresponsible. It is arrogant, pompous and unpatriotic! Power trumps Patriotism for the Democrats. All they seem to be concerned about is filling their pockets with lobbyists money and national security be damned.
The Democratic aspirant for the Oval Office from New Mexico, Bill Richardson, even suggested in his speech last week that Congress pass a bill "De authorizing: the war in Iraq.
Don't these fools consider for one moment that our withdrawal from Iraq will leave avoid that will immediately be filled with Terrorists.
Unlike the North Vietnamese who moved into South Vietnam when another left wing movement forced our troops to withdraw. The Islamist terrorists won't stop their war against the U.S. and Israel. This is a world wide war being waged by radical Islamists who want to convert the world, with the "sword" if necessary.
Unlike MacArthur we "shall not return' once we abandon Iraq. We will just have to fight them in another country. Or we could just surrender all together and wait for the mushroom clouds that will surely come our way if we don't stop them now.
General George Patton said""You're never beaten until you admit it." He also said:'Live for something rather than die for nothing."
Nothing is what you can expect when you surrender.WE lost over 6000 Marines in one day on Saipan fighting the Japanese and we lost 407,000 men and women armed forces personnel in world war two.
All deaths are tragic, but success or failure cannot be measured by how many troops we lost in how short of time, but whether we won or lost! Military victory is not attainable without casualties, because soldiers do die in battle.
Let us not allow the Leftists in this Country to prevail. Those who have died fighting for Us shall not have died in vain if we persevere.

Senator Reid Puppet For Bahr?

The pious looking man at the extreme left side of this blog is anything but a "holy man". He is Sheik Ahmad Bahr, acting Speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, declared during a Friday sermon at a Sudan mosque that America and Israel will be annihilated and called upon Allah to kill Jews and Americans "to the very Last One." Following are excerpts from the sermon that took place last month, courtesy of MEMRI. Ahmad Bahr began: "'You will be victorious' on the face of this planet. You are the masters of the world on the face of this planet. Yes, [the Koran says that] 'you will be victorious,' but only 'if you are believers.' Allah willing, 'you will be victorious,' while America and Israel will be annihilated. I guarantee you that the power of belief and faith is greater than the power of America and Israel. They are cowards who are eager for life, while we are eager for death for the sake of Allah.
That is why America's nose was rubbed in the mud in Iraq, in Afghanistan, in Somalia, and everywhere." Bahr continued and said that America will be annihilated, while Islam will remain. The Muslims "'will be victorious, if you are believers.' Oh Muslims, I guarantee you that the power of Allah is greater than America, by whom many are blinded today. Some people are blinded by the power of America. We say to them that with the might of Allah, with the might of His Messenger, and with the power of Allah, we are stronger than America and Israel." The Hamas spokesperson might as well have been the spokesman for Senator Harry Reid.
Ten other "representatives" of OURS took a paid vacation to The Sudan, Egypt, Greece and Germany using takpayers money. This goup of seven Democrats and 3 Republicans were lead by Democratic Majority leader of Congress, Steny Hoyes of Maryland. Never mind that at least two of the Countries visited have large majorities of American hating Muslims, Sudan and Egypt.
Last week the Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs, Mohammad Riza Baghri said the following: "We believe it would be to the benefit of both the occupiers( notice he did not say liberators) and the Iraqi people that Coalition forces withdraw immediately."
Congressman Martha and Pelosi could have used his speech to promote their Congressional agenda for our troops in Iraq.
I wonder if the "ten" would have gotten away with such a visit when we were fighting Hitler? In those days only men wearing uniforms and carrying rifles made the trip. Not people carrying briefcases and wearing thousand dollar suits!

Cure Worse Than The Disease?

Because the world has 880 million automobile owners, a great deal of commerce is conducted using trucks and millions of civilian and military airplanes fly the worlds skies each day. We have an rapidly unsatisfied need for the energy to move them.
Here in America the primary source for energy since the early 1900s has been petrochemical products. In 1976 when the U.S. had 315 oil refineries we consumed 2.0 million barrels of oil per day. Today we have 144 oil refineries. Not one has been built since 1976!
It is reported by the IEA that today in 2007 we consume 20.5 million barrels of crude oil per day. This is 20% of the worlds crude oil production.
World crude oil production for the 1st quarter of 2007 was 85.5 million barrels per day. The world consumption was 87 million barrels a day.
It is apparent that as world population grows the demand for for energy grows as well. However, reserves and refinery capacity are not keeping pace with the demand. Thus we have had an increase in price of the cost per barrel of crude oil raising from $12.80 in 1976 to $68.10 per barrel in April this year!
The oil embargo put on Iran and Kuwait by the U.S. has reduced the import
of crude oil by the U.S. by 5 million barrels per day. This further aggravates the imbalance between supply and demand.
In an attempt to satisfy the powerful Ecology lobby and those who worship at the altar of Al Gores Global Warming temple. The President has chosen to pursue the making of fuel from grain products.
Ethanol can be made from corn, the primary source for today's ethanol.
It can also be made from rice, soybeans, sugar cane, and wheat. These grain products are now competed for by the makers of fuels and the farmers who produce the milk, beef, pork, poultry and eggs that feed us and the world.
The amount of corn used to produce enough fuel for an SUV fill-up( 25 gal.) would feed a third world child for a year. Fill up every two weeks and you could use the grain processed to make the ethanol to feed 26 people a year.
It becomes apparent that the choice of alternative grain sources for fuel instead of drilling for the known available crude oil off shore and in ANWAR may have drastic unintended consequences for world hunger.
In Iowa alone there are currently 55 ethanol plants, and the building of new plants is proceeding at a furious pace.
Not only will the use of the projected 14 million tons of grain a year for fuel in the U.S. leave only 6 million tons of current grain production left for food. We have to be ready to supply countries like China, Japan, Egypt and Mexico who produce little or no grain products.
It is past the time when we should not listen to Ecologists who wish to see the U.S. return to the horse and buggy days, and start to consider the imminent food shortages and huge price increases for food products that we need to survive.
WE put our livestock and poultry industries in danger because our politicians including the President don't have the guts to stand up to the Ecology lobby and tell them to "get lost!"

ACLU Not What It Appears?

The next time you think about the ACLU and all the good things they allegedly do for civil rights. It would be good to reflect on just who founded this organisation and what the purpose was for its formation.
The ACLU was founded in 1920 by Roger Mark Baldwin an avowed Marxist, graduate of Harvard who was raised in Massachusetts as a agnostic Unitarian by wealthy parents.
He was a proclaimed socialist who worked for disarmament and eventual abolishment of the "State" itself. The abolition of the "property class" was also one of his goals.
He made friends with Anarchist Emma Goldman who was quoted as saying: "voting is the opium of the masses, Every four years you deaden the pain!"
Baldwin was executive director of the ACLU from 1920-1950, and served as an adviser until his death at 97 in 1981.
Our infamous Naval Academy graduate who "snuck" into the Oval Office, President Jimmy Carter awarded Mr. Baldwin the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1981 shortly before Baldwins death.
Not only did his political and philosophical attitude lean toward Marxist socialism, but he was an early member of the Marxist International Workers of the World Union. This Communist union called the "wobblies" in the early years is still active in the U.S. and Australia.
Although their membership is small, estimated membership of 2000 in the U.S. ,their presence is noted at all anti-war and anti-capitalist rallies as seen in the enclosed picture of their demonstration in Seattle, Wash. in 2007.
If the history of this organisation is not enough to want it "denuded" then I have eight more reasons,
1. They support the distribution of child pornography and oppose its suppression. The support NAMBLA
2. They use tax payers money to subvert the Constitution.
3. They oppose the 2nd amendment, right to bear arms.
4. The oppose tax exemptions for Churches.
5. They want to abolish the Boy Scouts as presently constituted.
6. They advocate open borders, and even assist illegal immigrant crossings.
7. They Defend Terrorists.
8. They have opposed every attempt to pass National Security Laws.

Threat Of Growing Government

Today each American "figuratively" has to carry three government workers on his back. The number of federal government employees has grown faster over the last sixty years than the population.
There are as of 2006 statistics, 12.2 million federal employees who with the cooperation of a spendthrift Congress and Presidents who were willing accomplices are spending 1.8 trillion a year for the past few years. This cost each and every U.S. citizen $6,132.00 if you proportion it based on population. The problem is many don't pay any taxes, but receive confiscated dollars in the form of taxes from the middle class that is rapidly shrinking and may disappear if things don't change.
In 1947 the total amount of the nations economy that was gobbled up by government spending was 22%. Today the percentage of the economy that goes to government is 43%. The money left in the private sector has slipped from 78% to 57%.
Why you ask has this happened? There are many reasons, war expenditures, health care for the uninsured, but one of the biggest consumers of our tax dollars is the federal employee payroll.
On average the Federal employee makes 31% more in wages than the private sector and the benefit structure has been calculated as a whopping 60% richer than the private section. Their job security is much better. When was the last time you heard of a massive government layoff. Civil Service gives government employees more security that any private business employee could hope for.
The total of federal, state and local employees was 3.3 million in 1946 after the war. Today there are 19.2 million! This is something you must remember every time you ask your government for a new program. The employee count goes up exponentially.
We are rapidly approaching the point where the government will not be of and for the people, but an autonomous organism with a will of its own that will no longer serve the people. We will function as servants of the government.
If you don't believe this is possible. Just look at what has happened to Sweden. This Scandinavian bastion of socialism is rapidly becoming a totalitarian state, so obsessed with multiculturalism that the Swedish people are taught in their schools that Western Civilization is decadent and bad, and that people must learn to adapt themselves to society. Dissent is anathema and consensus is the rule. Individuality is considered bad for the state and students are taught that they exist to serve the state. Don't let socialistic type like Obama and Hillary pull the wool over your eyes. If either gets into the Oval Office we will become a very large "Sweden". You can bet the last dollar you still have on this.

Americans Are being Duped !

Every time you fill your gasoline tank for your car or truck you are being made a fool of. The ones who have caused this high price for gasoline and natural gas are not the petroleum companies or the members of OPEC. They are the people we sent to Washington and the State Capitols throughout America to serve and protect our interests.
People like the "huckster" Al Gore, and his academic ilk have perpetrated the lie of"impending doom" because of global warming. This is bad, but not the worst that has been done to We Americans.
The Congress and the Presidents since 1975 have reached deeper into your pockets to steal more and more money for their pet socialistic programs. The hidden taxes that State and Federal governments put on the cost of energy are obscene.
In the state of New York the tax payers shell out 3.4 billion dollars in hidden taxes on their electric bills each year. This is the highest hidden energy cost in the continental U.S.
The Edison Electric Institutes vice-president, M. William Brier stated this week that compliance with the Federal Rules included in "The Clean Air Interstate Rules" and the "Clean Air Mercury Rule will cost the electric industry 47.8 billion dollars between 2007 and 2020. All of this expense will be passed on to the taxpaying consumer. The horrible fact is that these two laws don't address the humongous numbers of 18 wheeler trucks belching diesel fuels or the millions of buses carting children to and from non-neighborhood schools.
Returning to the 40-60 dollars you just spent to fill up your vehicle tank. As you drive away cursing the price gouging oil companies. You should know that since the end of world war two the price of a barrel of crude oil taken at the wellhead has stayed around$23.57. The balance of the costs is the cost of refinement and shipping, profit amounting to pennies on the gallon and the biggie, taxes. The average federal tax on a gallon of gas is 55 cents and state taxes vary from 34 cents in Alabama to 52 cents in Nevada.
Compounding this problem is the fact that even though one of our mortal enemies, Iran, is presently building an oil refinery that will produce 38 to 50 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and 700-800 barrel of gasoline a day. We here in the U.S. have not built a refinery since 1976.
Not only are the present refineries not capable of producing enough to satisfy the needs of our growing population. They pose a potential catastrophic event in their being over worked and under serviced to meet current needs.
The Senate in the United States Congress is the culprit in the denial of the search for and obtaining of U.S. energy independence.
The energy bill passed into law in 2005 had provisions for offshore oil drilling and Anwar limited drilling that could of produced an estimated 19 billion barrels from the Kuparuk River region. The Senate version was dedicated to conservation an alternative sources of fuels. This from a bunch of millionaires being driven around in taxpayer funded limousines!
Heavy oil reserves in the ground made off limits by our environmental "wackos" is estimated at 69 million barrels of oil in off shore deposits alone.
Besides, there have been statements made by well known agriculturalists that if we decimate the supply of corn to produce ethanol. There could be a third world famine of worse proportions than is present today.
One final comment. It would be a lot easier to clean out pockets of terrorist resistance with a brigade of Abrams tanks in Iraq, then for our courageous foot soldiers to go from house to house subject to land mines and snipers. But we can't do that unless we have enough fuel for the tanks. God help us if we get into a war with Iran with our need for 70% of our oil coming from OPEC, and only 30% from the U.S.

Mixed Reviews From Syria

While liberals and fellow travelers around the world are applauding the "courage" and foreword thinking of Ms. Pelosi's visit with The Syrian President. The people who diplomats have placed their hope for regime change in Syria and Iran less we have to go to war with them, have a very different opinion of her visit.
The following quotes are taken from the Internet site of "Middle East Media Research Institute". They illustrate that we conservatives here in America are not the only ones who think her visit was ill advised and damaging to the cause of hoped for regime change.

Likewise, it did not say that it would close the offices of Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Damascus and expel their leaders. If it had wanted to do this, it would have done so years ago, in response to American demands and pressures…"
Pelosi Delivered a Blow to the Liberal Opposition in Syria and Frustrated Reformists' Hopes

Pelosi Rewarded the Hangman and Turned Her Back on the Victim
"Instead of demanding [Al-Labwani's] immediate release [from prison], Pelosi went to reward the hangman, and turned her back on the victim. Did Al-Labwani fall victim to the trust he placed in America's promises to support democracy and those demanding it?

My comment on the above is the members of the opposition party mentioned are "RINOS", republicans in name only. No loyal republican would defy the President and assume the role of diplomat not given to members of Congress by the Constitution. This role is the sole province of the Executive Branch. Why some member of The Republican Congressional
block doesn't introduce a resolution of censure for Congress woman Pelosi is beyond cowardice. Both she and Senator Reid are guilty of censurable acts, and at the very least should be called out for their actions by members of their Peers.

"Utter Simpletons" In Congress

Vladamir Lenin often referred to the American left as "those who will sell us the rope with which to hang them, utter simpletons".
Today the Democratic controlled Congress could rightly be called either "simpletons or useful idiots" for the Islamist cause.
The object of every General who goes to war is to defeat the enemy, and to do this he must cut off the supply lines to his adversary and make his ability to wage war impossible.
The Congress of the United States is this month acting in a manner of a trapped angry animal or a spoiled brat kid who can't get his way. In their thrashing around to force the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq they demonstrate a pomposity and pretense of doing what is best for the people who they represent.
Senator Reid had the presumption to utter these words yesterday: "Congress will no longer "turn a blind eye to the Bush administration's incompetence and dishonesty. Yes, he is the president, but we are the people's representatives. Instead of sending us back to square one with a veto, some tough talk and nothing more, let him come to the table in the spirit of bipartisanship that Americans demand and deserve."
This bombastic liar, one of a group of power happy leftists politicians who had a different story to tell their constiuents in 2002.
On September 19, Senator Carl Levin (D-MI) said, “We begin with the common belief that Saddam Hussein is a tyrant and a threat to the peace and stability of the region. He has ignored the mandate of the United Nations and is building weapons of mass destruction and the means of delivering them.”
Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) said in a September 27 speech at Johns Hopkins University, “We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction.”
Senator Byrd said in an October 3 floor speech, “We are confident that Saddam Hussein retains some stockpiles of chemical and biological weapons, and that he has since embarked on a crash course to build up his chemical and biological warfare capabilities. Intelligence reports indicate that he is seeking nuclear weapons...”
In an October 9, floor speech, Senator John Kerry (D-MA) said, “I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force – if necessary – to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security.”
In an October 10 floor speech, Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV), a senior member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, said, “There is unmistakable evidence that Saddam Hussein is working aggressively to develop nuclear weapons and will likely have nuclear weapons within the next five years…We also should remember we have always underestimated the progress Saddam has made in development of weapons of mass destruction.”
In yet another October 10 floor speech, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) said, “In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear…that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons.”
And Yet today we have Reid challenging the Presidents right to support and defend the Constitution against a religious fanatical power that thinks in absolutes not in relativistic values as we do,and seeks to destroy us.
The Congressional Speaker of the House goes to Syria, a country known to be the conduit of weapons and supplies to Iraq from Iran. And most heinous of all, Congressman Dennis Kucinick wants to impeach President Bush and Vice-President Cheney in the middle of a WAR!.
Rep. Kucinich (D-OH), the most liberal of the Democratic presidential candidates in the primary field, declared in a letter sent to his Democratic House colleagues this morning that he plans to file articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney.
These "useful idiots" of the Islamist quest to conquer Us will be the first to feel the sword when and if the Islamists prevail. Traitors are never trusted, even by those whom their treachery has helped be victorious.

Democrats Helping Jihad?

Not since Harry Truman gave away East Berlin to the Communists at Potsdam in 1944, has someone in government been a "dupe" or collaborator with our enemy as was the Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate last week. Senator Reid by saying we have lost the war in Iraq could
not have given more aid ti the cause of the Islamist radicals if he had given them a large shipment of weapons to us against our troops. At least Truman might have thought Russia wouldn't put up the Berlin wall and begin the cold war. Reid had no such cover for his treachery.
His five words uttered in blatant disregard for the welfare of those brave men and women fighting the good fight in Iraq, "we have lost the war"in Iraq. Give the Radical Muslims around the world the message that all they have to do is keep up the terror and America will withdraw sooner than later.
Just as Communism in 1936 was a death sentence for tens of millions of Zeks. So to is the Muslim obligation under direction from the Koran (2:256) to gain power over all nations and to fight against people until they all testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah. These words are passed down directly from Mohammad (Hadith 2:193), and it is time we realize we are in a fight like this country has never faced before.
The doctrine of jihad - violence in the path of Allah with the objective of converting, killing, or else subjugating and taxing the "infidel" - was Muhammad's most significant original contribution to world history. It defined Islam in its earliest days, it has defined the relations between "the world of faith" and "the world of war" ever since of Islam to this day.
There are 32 nations world wide that are predominantly Muslim. Unless these nations renounce Jihad as a way to further their religious and political precepts, for they are one and the same according to the Koran, they must be considered potential threats to our way of life.
It is long past the time when President Bush should come out and publicly state that any Muslim who does not renounce Jihad is no friend of this country.
With all this in mind what earthly reason do people like Reid and Pelosi collaborate with enemies of this country other than blind ambition and failure to comprehend the damage their actions do against our country.

Rosie Attacks Catholicism

The View Television show is not a program I watch frequently, but the "Y" I exercise at four times a week happened to have the show on the TV set above the exercise machine I was using.

Imagine my shock and dismay when I heard the Blob Rosie O'Donnell say the five catholics on the Supreme court shouldn't be there because of the "separation of church and state."It is obvious she hates Catholics, but the only people who could qualify for the Supreme Court per her criteria is an atheist!If she said the same thing about Blacks, homosexuals(which she would not as she is a lesbian) or Muslims she would probably be off the show in a nono-second.

I remember well when the great defensive end for the Green Bay Packers , Reggie White, uttered the words: "Homosexuality is a sin" during a speech. He was removed from the show immediately after it was reported on National TV.

Those who control the MSM are not just biased.They are perpetrators of a plan to rid America of all traces of religious belief held in the Judeo-Christian populace.

I believe God is watching, and is certainly offended. In my opinion the downfall of this great country will result from turning our face away from the Almighty.

Time To Wake Up And Listen

Just as we Americans and most U.S. corporations have a long range plan. So too do the Muslims have a 20 year plan to take over America, and replace our Constitution with Sharia law.
You say it is not possible! But who would have believed 40 years ago that putting a copy of the Koran with two strips of bacon placed inside the cover would be called a hate crime by the police and FBI? This very thing has happened in Clarksville Tennessee last Friday.
Some unknown person had placed the copy of the Koran on the steps of the Clarksville Islamic Center with the words " Mohammad a pedophile" and placed two strips of bacon inside the cover.
Cair administrator Nibad Awad notified local police and the FBI who are searching for the perpetrator under suspicion of committing a hate crime.
The fact that all but one state in the U.S. have hate crime statutes on the books is significant of the recognition that hate crimes do exist. But writing the words pedophile and putting two strips of bacon in the "book" are hardly reasons to label this tasteless action a hate crime.
If you use the Koran as a reference you will see a passage that tells us Mohammad married six year old girl and consummated the marriage when the girl was 9 years old. It can be found in the most venerated publication of Muslims Sahih Bukhar volume 7, book 62, number 64.
And bacon is one of Tennessee biggest farm products and ranked 24th in the U.S. in pork production.
The real reason for this blog is to alert all who bother to read it. That Isam has a plan for the take over of America, not unlike Joseph Stalin once hoped to do. The big difference is this plan will be passed down from generation to generation unless it is eliminated.

Rapid Resonse Could Have Saved LIves

Being a right wing law and order advocate it is somewhat disconcerting for me to write this blog, but it must be said. The so called "first response" people dropped the ball in the Virginia Tech murders.
The perpetrator of the 32 murders had a history of run ins with the campus police for harassing female students on two occasions in 2005. His poetry had him removed from her class upon asking for his removal or she would tender her resignation. Why? Because his poetry writings were so violent and obscene. additionally, he was sent to a Psychiatric facility in 2005 because of his erratic behavior for observation.
Each one of these incidents by itself was not enough to have him removed from the University, but collectively they were in my opinion reason enough to have him suspended and directed to get medical help before he was readmitted.
Admittedly with campus as large as VT it would have been impossible to keep him off campus, but he could have been denied a student pas to enter the halls where he committed his murders.
Once the two murders were discovered in the dormitory there is no legitimate reason to not lock down the school buildings. The only reason imaginable is to keep the image of the University in good light. This is not the purpose of the leaders of a place we send our children to learn. We ask and expect that there well being be preserved while they are on campus. Two and one-half hours between killings is obscene in the light of the terrorist awareness we Americans have today.
The blame game will not bring back the 32 who were killed by this crazed and fanatical killer, but maybe it will make some of the places we send our children off to learn safer places due to vigilance and rapid action. At least I hope and pray so!

Gas Cartel In The Making?

Foreign news sources relate that Vladimir Putin is quietly putting together a gas cartel which if formed unopposed will place the U.S. in a vulnerable position energy wise
The ecology movement has held the gas and oil business in a stranglehold for over 35 years, Their influence has resulted in no new exploration for oil and gas in the continental U.S. or off shore, and there has not been a new refinery built in over thirty years. This despite a tremendous growth in population and demand for both oil and natural gas.
History tells us that wars cannot be won without adequate amounts of petroleum products. The Nazi Panzer tanks ran out of fuel in the battle of the Bulge during WWII or the final push by Hitler might have been a success.
All planes and mechanized units need petroleum products. Those of us who are old enough to remember our parents cars having "gas stamps" on the windshields during the 40's, And there are less and less each year,remember the shortage caused by the consumption of our war machine.
This situation can and will happen again if our leadership in Washington does not shrug off the chains of environmentalism and work toward petroleum independence. There is no shortage of untapped supply in ANWAR and offshore Florida and Louisiana. WE cannot fight a war using ethanol and hybrid powered tanks!

Iran and the other hate America countries are serious and will strike as soon as they are ready. Will we be?

"Oil is a global commodity, but natural gas is not. When it is piped, prices are set as far as 15 to 20 years in advance through long-term contracts. However, liquid natural gas (LNG) is rapidly becoming a worldwide commodity.
By 2010, LNG's share of the world's total gas consumption will double. Thus, price gouging through production quota manipulation may come faster than many experts expect if the GECF becomes a new OPEC and if consumer nations do not unite and flex their muscle. Moreover, Russia and Iran are interested in increasing their geopolitical leverage against the EU in areas which often have little to do with energy.
Major gas producers share another characteristic. Qatar, Turkmenistan, Brunei, and Venezuela, to name just a few, have one feature in common: a democracy deficit. Just like OPEC, the gas cartel will be a formidable global force that can be used to oppose, challenge, and possibly weaken market-based democracies through high prices and wealth transfer. Such a cartel may cut deals with similarly undemocratic large-scale consumers, while forcing the West to pay full price.
Coordinated Global Action Needed
The Bush Administration barely reacted to the Doha meeting. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R–FL), Ranking Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, wrote to the Secretary of State that the establishment of a gas OPEC would be a "major and long-term threat to the world energy supply" which the U.S. should "vigorously oppose." Officials express grave concern, but only in private.
As the case of OPEC demonstrates, closing markets to competition, promoting national oil companies (NOCs), and limiting production through a quota system results in limited supply and higher oil prices. Gas, in the long run, will not be different. The United States should open its vast natural gas resources on- and off- shore to further exploration and production and encourage its neighbors in Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean to do the same.

Tragedy Used For Ideological Gain

It is unfortunate the tragedy that occurred at Virginia Tech Monday was picked up by the gun control lobby as a new "war cry".
The killing of 32 people by one crazed madman is a tragic thing, but the quick knee jerk response of the left is abominable. The cry for stricter gun control and confiscation of guns will produce angst and dissension thoughout the land. But it won't stop murders caused by people who are determined to kill. In fact one well armed teacher might have save many lives monday in Virginia.
The multitude of laws and law enforcement personnel has not stopped the use of illegal drugs. It has increased and drive up the price for the product.
What this country needs if we are to avoid anarchy and totalitarian rules is a return to a national respect for life and religion. Not more laws!
The total loss of respect for human life as evidenced in laws passed and SCOTUS rulings allowing mercy killing and unfettered abortion, has led the country onto a path of destruction from within.
Unfettered exploitation of sexual activity and a movie and television industry that glorifies violence and sex has made Sodom and Gomorrah look rather benign.
The young South Korean who lived here since he was eight years old, grew up with the culture of depravity all around him. It is a wonder more teens don't go onto killing rampages after spending their formative years watching violence on TV and in movies. Video games glorifying and rewarding killing are a big part of the pre-teen and teen years entertainment.
The left has done everything it can do to remove religion from the lives of children growing up today, and the result of all the above is the violence we were horrified by on Monday.

The Enemy At The Gates

Not only is the mortal enemy at Our gates. They are well placed among us.
The document that is the framework of this great nation is being used to advance a threat to our way of life right under our noses with little or none mention in the MSM.
Immediately after 9/11 the threat of Muslim terrorism was on every ones minds. We even began targeting Arab looking men at check points in airports. But then the Muslim advocacy groups went to work. CAIR the organization bankrolled by Saudi Arabia, and The National Council of Arabs went on the offensive, and it became not"PC" to target all Muslims.
WE were bombarded with newspaper and TV features that told us we must distinguish between the Terrorist and the Muslim religion. It was soon considered Islamophobic to even suggest that the Muslim religion is a fanatical cult that is dedicated to the replacement of our Constitution with Sharia laws.
Some States have allowed their elementary schools to have Muslim days when the children all must dress up in Muslim garb, and observe Muslim culture for a day. In California. One school even raised a banner that read "Allah is the one and only God"!
TV shows like "24" started calling the terrorists Chinese or Chechen radicals, apparently after they were visited by CAIR leaders. The move was on to separate the "moderate" Muslim from the Terrorist Muslim. The Democrats in Congress even want to ban the words "World wide terrorism."
The problem is from the mouths of Muslims who are accepted leaders in the U.S. we hear a different story. The following is a quote from "Islam Watch". Read it and then ask yourself if there are two kinds of Muslims, and if not what shall we do?

According to Dr. Daniel Pipes, Omar Ahmad, the long-serving chairman of CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, reportedly told a crowd of California Muslims in July 1998, “Islam is not in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran ... should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”
So, what happened to the famous “moderate Muslims” in all this? That’s a question writer Robert Spencer asks, too. Imam Siraj Wahaj is in great demand as a speaker. In 1991, he even became the first Muslim to give an invocation to the U.S. Congress.However, he has also warned that the United States will fall unless it “accepts the Islamic agenda.” He has lamented that “if only Muslims were clever politically, they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate.” In the early 1990s he sponsored talks by Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman in mosques in New York City and New Jersey; Rahman was later convicted for conspiring to blow up the World Trade Center in 1993, and Wahaj was designated a “potential unindicted co-conspirator.”Mr. Spencer notes that “The fact that someone who would like to see the [US] Constitution replaced has led a prayer for those sworn to uphold it is just a symptom a larger, ongoing problem: the government and media are avid to find moderate Muslims -- and as their desperation has increased, their standards have lowered.” The situation is complicated by many factors, including, taqiyya and kitman: “These are Islamic doctrines of religious deception. They originated in Shi’ite Islamic defenses against Sunni Islam, but have their roots in the Qur’an (3:28 and 16:106). Many radical Muslims today work hard to deceive unbelievers, in line with Muhammad’s statement, “War is deceit.”

If We would Only Learn From History

Unfortunately most people who have attended public schools during the past 30 years have learned very little about Western History. They have not been exposed to the great leaders who led the free world though the greatest tragedy of modern times, WWII.
One such man whom too many people know very little about except that he drank a lot of brandy and smoked cigars.
What people should know is relevant to the war we are involved in with radical Islam, and Churchill sounded the clarion alarm bells many years ago. The following is a quote from a politician who actually fought against the followers of Mohammad.



"Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men's passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccination. But the Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since, its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness."
After 9/11, George W. Bush famously described Islam as a "religion of peace". Churchill entertained no such fancy notions. In his history of the Malakand Field Force, Churchill wrote that "civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism. The forces of progress clash with those of reaction. The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace. Luckily the religion of peace is usually the better armed."
By the time his first book was published, Churchill had taken part in active service, fighting in Bangalore. He joined Lord Kitchener's army in the Sudan, and took part in the Battle of Omdurman on September 2, 1898. This battle took place in what is now a suburb of Khartoum, and pitted British troops against 50,000 belonging to a local warlord, Abdullah al-Taashi. This man called himself the Khalifa or "Caliph", and was the successor of Muhammad Ahmad. Ahmad had been the self-styled "Mahdi" (Muslim Messiah) who had beheaded General Gordon at Khartoum in 1885. The war in Sudan was a religious war.
He also said Muslimism is:"A militant and proselytising faith,and fanaticism is not a cause of war, but the means which helps savage people fight, and no stronger retrograde force exists in the world today."
Propagandists for groups like CAIR and our own President would have us believe that the terrorists are a small fanatic fringe of the Muslim faith.
But as Sir Winston Churchill knew over 60 years ago. All of Islam is to be feared if they do not publicly denounce the atrocities perpetrated upon people around the world by Islams radicals.
Unfortunately in the world of semantic jingoism words like "Islamaphobic" is used to label anyone who speaks out about the threat to the Judeo-Christian world by Islam.
The Democratic controlled Congress and the MSM should take note of another quote from Sr. Winston: "Victory will never be found by taking the line of least resistance." Withdrawal from Iraq will be taking the line of least resistance, and embolden those who have sworn to destroy us.

The Global Warming Scam

The man pictured to the left is James Hansen, director of NASA Goddard Institute in New York.
He spoke this past week to the media in London, England of the impending catastrophe of global warming. His background is similar to other non-scientist advocates of the "anthropogenic climate change" religion that has swept the developed nations lately. Hansen is an educated physicist and astronomer,not a climatologist. Not un- like Al Gore, with no scientific training, has taken on the mantle of the new left. The ecology movement, and it's Marxist goals to bring down the capitalistic system. Not that they are Marxists. But their "quest" is running hand in hand with those who are!
The whole movement began in the 1970's, when the coal miners struck in England during Margaret Thatchers term as prime Minister of England. Like so many other leaders of the free world she was worried about Her Country's dependence on oil and coal.
To alleviate this problem she went to the scientific community with a great deal of money and told them to find that fossil fuels producing co2 was the cause of raising temperatures. Her intent was to promote clean nuclear power supplies. Like many good ideas it ran away with itself!
Most of those who have taken up the cause of "global warming", including Presidents and Prime Ministers, have bought into the idea that the environmental movement is too strong a force to fight.
Indeed the environmental industry in the U.S. has grown from a government (aka taxpayer) investment of 170 million dollars in the early 1980's to a present 2 billion dollar taxpayers expense. There are hundreds of thousands of government and higher education people making their living off this movement. Mr. Gore even has his hands in the profit making end of environmentalism. But those that want to destroy our way of life are not all Islamists.
The founder of Green Peace, Patrick Moore, was recently quoted as saying: " Peaceniks" and Marxists have moved into the ecology movement with their anti-capitalist motives."
The National Resources Defense Council and Council on Foreign Relations are the other strong forces behind the push to make the lie of co2 and global warming a truth.
Most if not all the predictions used to support the claim for the connection between co2 and global warming come from computer models. These models are all subject to the well known acronym "GIGO". Garbage in and Garbage out! This is so, because none of the data used for their predictions, takes into account the Suns energy busts. A subject I touched on in previous blog.
Real scientists and climatologists, like Dr. Pirus Corbyn, claim that the "sun Bursts" sometimes called sun spots have more effect on global warming than co2.
All computer models used by the "gloom and doom" global warming advocates use co2 as the basis for the warming. This fact has been stated by Dr. Roy Spencer of NASA.
MIT professor R. Lindgen states that: "the green house propaganda was begun in 1988, when the IPPC predicted disaster due to global warming. This was done with no evidence to prove or support the theory that co2 causes global warming."
In fact the studies of ice core samples taken in the Arctic by Scientists from MIT and Harvard show that co2 does not cause temperature rises, but the temperature rises produce an increase in co2 over time.
Another large producer and sink of co2 are the worlds oceans. They absorb co2 when the ocean is cold and produce co2 when the ocean becomes warm.
Even the scientists who put together the Kyoto Agreement stated that if we reduce emissions of co2 drastically by 60-80 percent, as they recommended, it will only reduce global temperatures by .005 to .01 degrees by 2050!
But if we do fall into the trap of global warming and reduce co2 by the demanded amount. This Country will revert back to the bicycle days of the 1990s.
Professors of science have long been telling those who will listen that co2 is naturally produced by decaying vegetation and animal matter. Cows are a large producer of methane gas. Should we kill all the cows?
The polar bears have survived the dramatic climate changes of recorded history and they will adapt as will we to any natural change in temperature. Whats the real worry? Most of us and are relatives for the next generation won't live to see any change. Even if the "quacks" are correct. This heretic believes they are wrong and know they are!

Wars Are Lost When Logistics Fail

The famous battle of the Bulge during World War II was nearly lost because our troops were running out of ammunition, food and medical supplies,
The Germans had launched a last desperate attack in Belgium with the full force of Panzer Tanks and thousands of troops. This offensive was to try to keep the Allies from invading Germany.
Because of overcast skies and the German troops surrounding the Americans on three sides. Our soldiers were trapped and facing possible annihilation.
Thank God, clearing skies and the race across Europe by Patton's tanks.prevented Our defeat. The battle of the Bulge was eventually won. But at a great cost of lives due to the lack of supplies.
Since wars began, the one thing that has to be maintained is the supply line if an army has any hope of winning.
Europe and all Of Asia would also have been lost, no matter how valiantly our troops fought, if their supply lines were cut off.
Today we have the Congress of the United States threatening to cut off the supplies to our men and women in Iraq!
Even though President Bush will veto this Bill as presently constituted. The Congress seems determined to inflict defeat on the U.S. even if it means they have to literally take the weapons out of the troops hands.

Last week Congressman and Democratic majority leader, Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) , took it upon himself to pay a visit with a known Hamas supporter.
Hoyer met with Mohammad el-Katatni in Cairo, Egypt. After the meeting el-Katatni said: "they reached agreements that would be helpful when the Democrats win in 2008!
