IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS THERE HAVE BEEN MANY CALLS FOR MORE FUEL EFFICIENT CARS FROM CONSERVATION GROUPS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICALS.THE EPA WANTS TO MAKE AUTOMOBILES MORE FUEL EFFICIENT TO CONSERVE DIMINISHING SUPPLIES OF FOSILE FUELS AND TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT. THE IRONY TO THIS APPROACH IS THAT LONG AGO THE SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS BEGAN AN ANNUAL CONTEST FOR ENGINEERING STUDENTS TO SEE WHO COULD MAKE THE MOST FUEL EFFICIENT ENGINE THAT COULD TRANSPORT ONE PERSON. THIS PRIZE WAS WON IN 1996 BY THE STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITE DE SHERBOOKE WHOM USING A BRIGGS AND STRATTON GAS ENGINE WERE ABLE TO RUN THEIR ONE MAN CAR FOR 962.63 MILES ON ONE GALLON OF GAS!

WHY PRESIDENT BUSH APPOINTED A MAN WHOM IT IS ALLEGED IS AN AVOWED ENVIRONMENTALIST IS BEYOND RATIONAL COMPREHENSION. THIS MAN HAS USED STOCK HOLDERS INVESTMENT FUNDS, DURING HIS TERM AS CEO, TO FUND RADICAL ENVIRONMENTAL CAUSES.HE IS PAST PRESIDENT OF THE WEALTHY ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP "TNC". AN AVOWED SUPPORTER OF THE "MAN MADE" GLOBAL WARMING CONCEPT,AND AN ADVOCATE OF GOVERNMENT ACTION TO STOP "GLOBAL WARMING".
HE VIGOROUSLY SUPPORTED A SENATE BILL WHICH WAS ,MERCIFULLY DEFEATED, ENVIRONMENTAL SENATE BILL "KYOTO LITE". SPONSERED BY SENATORS McCAIN AND LIEBERMAN, THE "KYOTO LITE" BILL WOULD HAVE MANDATED CABON DIOXIDE EMISSIONS BE ROLLED BACK TO 2000 LEVELS WITHIN FIVE YEARS. IT HAS BEEN ESTIMATED BY RELIABLE ECONOMISTS THAT IF THAT BILL HAD PASSED INTO LAW IT WOULD HAVE COST THE U.S. ECONOMY HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS AND COUNTLESS JOBS.

BUT I DIGRESS! THE KNOWN FACTS ARE THE FOLLOWING. ON THE 20TH OF NOVEMBER FOLLOWING THE KILLING OF A MARINE TRAVELING IN A VEHICLE DESTROYED BY A ROADSIDE BOMB. IT IS CHARGED THAT A GROUP OF ENLISTED MARINE RIFLEMAN ENTERED 3 SEPERATE HOUSES KILLING 23 WOMEN AND CHILDREN. THEY THEN DRAGED A MAN FROM HIS CAR AND SHOT HIM DEAD.THE MARINES ALLEGEDLY REPORTED TO THEIR SUPERIORS THAT THEY KILLED THE PEOPLE IN A "FIRE FIGHT" AFTER THEIR COMRADE HAD BEEN KILLED. THIS ENDED THE ISSUE UNTIL A "JOURNALISM STUDENT" SUBMITTED A VIDEO ALLEGEDLY SHOWING THE 3 HOUSES INVOLVED AND DEAD BODIES OF THOSE KILLED BY THE MARINES. AT THAT TIME TIME MAGAZINE DECIDED THE VIDEO WAS IRAQI PROPAGANDA AND DECLINED TO PUBLISH ANYTHING. HOWEVER, MARCH 27,2006 IT DECIDED TO PUBLISH AN ARTICLE FEATURING A STATEMENT "MARINES RAN AMOK"! WHAT THEY FAILED TO HIGHLIGHT WAS THE FACT THAT JUST A FEW DAY BEFORE, THE MARINES SUFFERED 13 KILLED BY ROADSIDE BOMBS, AND 6 MARINES DIED DURING A GUN BATTLE WITH SOME OF THE TOWNS "CIVILIANS"! THIS DOES NOT JUSTIFY DELIBERATE MURDER OF UNARMED CIVILIANS. BUT JUST HOW MANY MEN AND WOMEN SERVING IN IRAQ HAVE BEEN KILLED BY WHAT THEY THOUGHT WERE INNOCENT CIVILIANS?

Comments on Immigration and Bad Public School Policies

During the last 200 years European nations were the source of immigration to the United States. In fact from 1900 to 1910, when an estimated 9 million entered Ellis Island as immigrants, 90% were from Europe. However by 2000 only 10% were allowed to emigrate to the USA from Europe. Eighty (80) percent were from Latin America and Asia. The remaining 10% were from Eastern Block countries for the most part. These facts were published in 2002 by Jeffrey Pascal of the "Urban Institute" in Washington D.C.

Mr. Pascal hypothesized in 2002 that 8.5 million "undocumented" immigrants were living in the US . He postulated 55% were Mexicans, 22% were Latin Americans, the other 23% from Russia, India, China, Korea and the Philippines. This represented 25% of the 32 million total immigrants residing in the US at that time. Since then the "illegal newcomers" have grown drastically to a conservative estimate of 10 to 12 million. Today Mexicans account for 68.7% of illegals, Central Americans 6.7%, Canada .7%, South America 5..5%, Asia 4.6% and others 11.4%. This data comes from an article published by the "American Immigration Law Foundation".

The Institute article further claims that the political argument made by proponents of "amnesty" that these Mexicans are fleeing an impoverished country for a better life , are misrepresenting the facts at the very least. Mexico is no third world country. It has industrialization, urbanization and a one trillion dollar economy with a comparable personal income with Russia. Russian per cap income is $9700 and Mexico has $9000 per capita income. This seems rather meager except when you compare the PCI of Cameroon at $400 per capita income!

In 1996 Congress voted to double the US border patrol agents to 10,000 and Mandated that fences be built at the most heavily trafficked areas between Mexico and The US. Also in 1996 President Clinton signed a bill passed by both houses of Congress that cut off all federal and state benefits to illegals except emergency medical care, immunization of children and disaster relief. These laws are apparently not stemming the tide of illegals. The problem is LACK OF ENFORCEMENT!

Another "Wrong Headed" program has apparently taken roots in Southern Wisconsin. The school board in Waukesha County has approved a plan by the Hadfield school district to separate their Spanish speaking students into a separate room for Spanish speaking only classes. The Principle. Ms. Stacy McCoy sees this as a positive step in the education of these children. "They now can receive their education curriculum in their native language and learn English in the lunchroom and the playground! What a "crock"! They hope to eventually have room enough to do this for all grades K through 6th. These kids can enter junior high with little knowledge of English. How can we hope to avoid "balkanization" and accomplish assimilation of these children if the kids are placed in a separate room to allow them to perpetuate their ignorance of the language of their adopted country? Don't these teachers and administrators realize the best time to learn a foreign language is as a child. For this reason many parents buy expensive audio programs to expose their children to a foreign language before they even enter school? When these kids reach junior high and high school it will be to late! The international language of American technology is English. What these politically correct imbecile are doing is condemning a whole classroom of Hispanics to menial labor in the fields or cutting grass!

What will these same knuckle heads do when the school population is engulfed with Iranians, Iraquis, Russians, or Koreans as has happened in California. Set up seperate rooms for them. I guess we are back to "seperate but equal" in Waukesha County!

The Specter of Fascisms Ugly Head Rising?

An article in a Canadian newspaper recently told the story of what appears to be a re-emergence of one of mankinds worst treatment by one race of people to all those not of their "kind".

The Iranian Parliament apparently has passed a law requiring all non-Muslims wear an identifying piece of outer clothing! Jews are to wear a yellows cloth strip sewn to their outer garments, Christians must have a red marking (possibly a badge) and Zoroastrians (another religion in Iran) are to wear blue cloth bands.

This evil law which harkens back to the 1930s when Hitler decreed that all Jews were to wear a cloth Star of David on their outer clothes with the word "Jude" sewn in its center. This edict was tantamount to drawing a target on the Jews so they could be easily identified by "Aryans" who wished to wreak havoc on them and their property.

This new law must be approved by the "Supreme Guide" of Iran, Ali Khamenenlie before it goes into effect. However, there is little doubt that it will become part of Iranian law, because the main language of the bill aims to standardize clothing worn by Muslims. Elimination of all Western style apparel is the goal. This in a country whose leaders deny the holocaust ever happened!

History notes that as far back as 717 AD Caliph Oma II ordered both Jews and Christians living in Persia wear distinguishing markers, and in 853 the Calif Al-Montavillel ordered all Jews wear yellow badges. The actions of the Senate in Washington D.C. give me the impression that they believe either they were elected by a majority of Americans sympathetic to Illegal immigrants, or they hope to solidify their "princely Status" by granting 12 million illegals into voters whom will vote to keep them in office.

Voting by the Senate to grant social security benefits to these illegals for time worked while residing here illegally is a travesty. Do we reward people who break into our homes? Many of these same illegals have allegedly voted in past elections with forged documents, and I am certain many workers here illegally used forged documents to obtain work. Where is the logic in putting 10-12 million more into an already bankrupt program?

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada stated on the floor of the Senate today that anyone who opposes comprehensive legislation to help the illegal immigrants is a Racist!
It is not only outrageous to say this, but shows he doesn't care to follow the opinions held by a majority of the people who elected him. Polls show the vast majority of Americans want to secure the borders! Time to print the bumper sticker, "Goodbye Harry"!

Although most of the marchers for "illegal immigrants rights" during March, April and May are not Communists. It is now known that some of the major organizers of the marches are Communists or members of Marxist/Leninist organizations. A few of these organizers are: Center for Community Change (CCC), World Workers Party (WWP), Communist Party USA (CPUSA), Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM), and ANSWER.
All of these organizations are known Communist sympathizers. Two of the principals behind the effort to get students to leave schools and join the marches are Margaret Chinn and Mae Lee known agents for Communist China.

Since 2000 over 1.4 billion dollars has been spent to pay for conferences" in such posh locations as Honolulu, Los Cabos Mexico, Barcelona Spain and Disney world. Not for Congressman and Senators, but for Federal Government Agency employees! This at a time of obscene budget deficits.

"ConservativeRadical" Idea to Cut National Debt!

With the most recent appointment of 22 new members to the UN
Human Rights Council from countries identified by "Freedom House"
as countries which have little or no concern for freedom of speech, government accountability and little or no concern for human rights. Notably; Communist China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Cameroon, Algeria and Azerbaijan. The UN has demonstrated just one more action contrary to its stated purpose when formed in 1945.

China is led by Hu Jintao, whom "Parade Magazine" lists as number six on their list of the Worlds "Ten Worst Dictators".
This based upon human rights abuse. Helping make that decision is the report from inside PRC that between 200,00
and 300,00 Chinese citizen "dissidents" are held captive in "concentration" camps. These "discipline" centers are controlled by Wu Guangheng, Secretary of the Central commission for Discipline Inspection and his 121 commission members. I believe the PRC call them re-education Centers!

My suggestion is we revoke the UN "lease" on the building we paid to be built on the banks of the Hudson River in New York. Ask them to move to Geneva or The Hague. Any place as long as they leave the US, and then we tear down the building. Now the productive part. Sell off the bricks and artifacts from the destruction of this monument to anti-Americanism to all that will buy a memento of this colossal mistake. Maybe it wouldn't put much of a dent in our national dept. But it would be a great sale! The "Pet Rock"made millions. This sale could amount to numbers in the hundred millions of dollars.

If what I have written above doesn't convince you it is past time for the UN to go. Consider these indisputable facts. 1.) The first Secretary General of the UN was Aler Hiss. A convicted Soviet Spy! 2.) Since the UN was founded in 1945 to provide "mans best hope for peace". There have been 140 wars! Korea and Vietnam just two that had UN sanction and troop participation. Not to forget Bosnia, which has some UN and American troops still there. The Korean war has not officially ended for over 50 years. Only a truce and cease fire currently exits between North Korea and the US. 3.) In 1961 the UN with tacit co-operation of the US state department and President John Kennedy drafted a proposal for world total disarmament, including the United States of America, except for troops " intended for internal security forces". Wouldn't the terrorists and "peacenics"around the world love that! 4.) All fourteen of the first Undersecretaries of the UN were avowed Communists.

There is no logical reason to expect that building on the Hudson is not still infested with voting members whose sole purpose in life is to end our way of life and destroy the USA premier place in the World of Civilized nations. Its (the UN) departure is long over due!

Welcome Matt for Illegals From Mexico

Did President Bush's speech Monday night slip the noose over the heads of republicans who face re-election in November? I think he did, even though he should be given the benefit of the doubt. When you review the main points of his speech. The plan he outlined is in my humble opinion no more than a "smoke screen" to cool the anti-illegal rhetoric so prevalent before and after his speech.

The announcement by President Bush of plans to assign 6000 National Guard troops along the 2000 mile border would amount to one guardsman for every mile if you consider that they will work a three day week. They won't be allowed to interdict illegals crossing from Mexico. They will provide "advice" to the additional 1000+ new border agents proposed by the President. Worthy of note is in December of 2005 he proposed adding 1700 new agents. Where are they? And what are they doing to stop the flow of illegals?

How can "weekend warriors" with no training in border security train or advise? They appear to me to be "window dressing"! The president proposed in his speech monday, increased funding for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement of 3.9 billion dollars. Unfortunately, according to a published (5/15 05)interview by columnist and TV show moderator Hugh Hewitt of Julie Myers, Assistant Secretary of ICE (immigration and customs enforcement) a large portion of this money has been designated as money to buy more beds for illegal "detention centers"! She wants an additional 6,700 for a total of 27,600 beds by the end of fiscal 2006. These beds are used by illegals for an average of 90 days at tax payer expense. Despite the fact that she said "85% of the Mexican illegals caught crossing the border are presently being driven back over the border and released! "Catch and Release" appears to be alive and well!

Mr. Hewitt also interviewed Mr. Kevin Stevens, Associate Chief of Border Control, 5/16/06. During this interview Mr. Hewitt asked Mr. Stevens if he thought building 400 miles of double or triple fencing along the Mexican and U.S. border in critical urban and rural areas would help reduce the flow of illegal immigrants? Mr. Stevens answered in the affirmative.

Never the less, the next day when Assistant Secretary for ICE was asked if she agreed the building of physical fences would be part of the implementation of President Bush's' new Immigration Plan? She said "virtual fences" were on the table for consideration. Her explanation of a "virtual fence" would be "surveillance, manpower and infrastructure." Sounds like double seek for no physical fence, but lots more expensive bureaucracy to me. No fixed fences are on the ICE drawing board. This despite the majority of Americans who feel building a fence is a first step needed to stop the flow of illegal and potentially terrorist immigrants flowing across our borders from Mexico.

Border Patrol Chief, David Aguilar stated in a recent interview that during his tenure 4.5 million illegals have been denied entry into the U.S. Of these 350,000 had criminal records. How many of the illegals that didn't get detained, an estimated 10-20 million, are criminals or even worst, potential terrorists? We will never know, but any way you try to spin it. The Presidents message Monday night was not a prescription for stopping this flow of illegals, but a way to legitimizing them and add tens of millions of their adult relatives to the already overloaded welfare roles. In fact the Heritage Foundation predicts that if Congress and President Bush pass "Amnesty" for those illegals presently here. Don't close the borders there will be 103 million more legal immigrants in the next twenty years. Tack on the so called "Guest Worker" legislation and Heritage predicts the number allowed in legally will possibly reach 193 million. This into a country that has about 270 million now! Who will pay? You know damn well it will be the working taxpayers trying to save failing wefare programs for these "Mexicanistas".

If news reports are correct the Senate just passed a bill to build a fence covering 400 miles of the Mexican border! Thank You! Keep tightening the borders and maybe the Republicans have hope for the November elections.

Obscenity May Occur in The Senate!

After reading the synopsis of Senate bill CIRA, S.2611 being sponsored by Republican Senators Hagel of Nebraska and Senator Martinez of Florida I was very dispirited to say the least. But after the travesty of the Presidents speech on this issue last night I am really disappointed in the President and concerned for our Country. President Bush ignored the issue of building a fence to stop the flow of illegals, and asked for public patience for solution to "a problem that has been growing for over twenty years." He has been in office six years and I know we are at war, but what took so long!

Apparently Senate Republicans and President Bush don't mind being historically noted as partners in the greatest increase in welfare in 35 years. Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation predicts that "within two decades the cost to American taxpayers for welfare programs will increase by 30 billion dollars." United States will no longer be what it is today. Drastic changes in social, economical and political areas caused by an estimated 103 million new immigrants in the next 20 years if the proposed S. 2611 is passed is inevitable. Valid statistics indicate that the longer illegal aliens stay here they are likely to go on Welfare. Perhaps this is because over 60% have less than a high school education, and thus are less employable except for menial labor.

Under present law "regulating" immigration it is estimated that 19 million legal immigrants will enter. We can't even enforce the laws on the books now. How will a law that includes three categories of illegal immigrants: Temporary; dictates they leave in 3 years, Non-Permanent: allows these illegals to convert to legal after 5 years, Legal Permanent Residence; that involves a convoluted classification for 11 years to finally achieve full citizenship solve the problem?

Who are these people? Do they live and work in "OZ"? The Senators that drafted this bill must realize it can never be monitored much less enforced. They also know it will result in a huge increase in government workers to administer, and a real drain on the taxpayers who have to fund this "obscene" bill. Maybe if these millionaires living like "princes" in their "Senatorial Club" had to pay for what they are proposing they would reconsider. With their tax shelters and starched collar accountants most won't have anyone put their hand into their wallet to extract monies to pay for this travesty. But the taxpayer will be hit with draconian increases!

We can make them pay for doing this to us if they pass S. 2611. The payback comes at the polls. Vote them all out of office, irregardless of party, when their six year "party" is up. They don't deserve your support. I know I will work to see that my Senator, who is one of the draters of this legislation, is not re-elected. I would vote for my next door neighbor before I'd vote for him agaim.

Illegal Immigration Control is Important But Not The Real Problem!

Although I agree one of the most pressing issues to be addressed now by President Bush and the Congress is stopping the flood of illegal immigrants into our Country. Unless we do this soon all the "Worker" programs and laws passed to "control" the current 12 million illegals will be just exercises in futility and self flagellation. Vote to build the Wall starting now! Then get to the real problem.

But all the debate and hot air being circulated around Washington about this problem is taking away time and effort from what I believe is the greatest threat facing the United Sates today. Finding more sources of oil within our borders and offshore, and building more refineries to process this crude oil into its byproducts: gasoline, kerosene, liquid propane, lubrication oils, asphalt and more than 4000 petrochemical byproducts that are made from refined oil. Some of these products that we use every day in our civilized comfortable life are: ethylene, propylene, benzene, ammonia, menthol. The list of end products produced from these petrochemicals which enrich our lives is endless. Just a few of them are detergents, synthetic rubber, plastic, synthetic fibers, chemical fertilizers and some medicines. The "APC" known to all who served in the US armed services who had headaches or hangovers remember the APC, chemically known as Acetylsalicytic acid. It is made from petrochemical.

When "blow-hard" politicians say we must break our addiction to oil they really are stupid or "pin heads" who have not bothered to consider the facts. Most of the drivel that we hear on television and read in the press is about American SUV owners burning up our oil in the form of gasoline. Of all the energy produced and used worldwide, 41.3% comes from oil, 22.4 percent from gases, 26% from solids like coal and 10.3% from hydroelectric and nuclear sources.

They don't bother to talk about the products listed above that make our lives better than our predecessors. It's all about finding new sources of energy other than oil. Our new source is right under our nose off shore and in ANWAR. If only the elected "public representatives" in Washington had the guts to stand up to the so called Conservationists! Drill now not when it is too late! Or at least encourage exploration in tandem with undeveloped countries that have the potential to provide more "sweet crude" than Arab controlled OPEC.

While we dither away time arguing about illegals, tax cuts, and NSA telephone monitoring, the Chinese, with the help of a 1999 policy by the "Gas Industry Forum" to assist China in obtaining reliable and economical sources of oil and natural gas, are growing economically like "Topsy". Thanks to this assistance their ever growing economic "juggernaut" consumed 7.2 million barrel's of oil a day in 2005. Thirty per cent of this comes from Africa. Africa produces crude oil off shore of its coast as well as inland in twelve separate African Countries. They produce approximately 10.3% of the Worlds total production, and China is doing it's best to get the "lions share" of this valuable material. They have invested heavily in money and human resources to gain influence in Africas oil producing counties. While American officials appear apathetic at their best about Chinese Communists evolving inroads and influence in Africa.

In 2005 84 million barrel's of crude oil was extracted from oil exporting counties. OPEC being a large contributor, and obviously an unpredictable source. Russia produces 8.9 million barrels per day, Iran 3.8 million per day, USA 5,4 million barrel a day and China 3.4 MBPD. Norway, Mexico, and Great Britain were minor producers.

The USA imported 60% of its 20 million barrel a day usage from foreign sources. Sixteen percent came from Africa, and it is predicted up to 25% will need to come from there by 2015 as other foreign sources decrease due to world wide increase in demand. It is estimated that as much as 85% of the new oil sources found world wide in the period 2001 to 2004 were on the West African Coast. None here in the USA!

It happened many centuries ago, but not too distant to have escaped my memory of history. Be it fact or fable, It is written that a great city burned down while the Emperor Nero was playing his "fiddle"! It is my earnest hope that this Great Country of ours won't be reduced to a third rate country with no individual freedom because our elected representatives like Nero fiddled around with everything but the life blood of this great economy! If we want to stay strong we need to become producers not major importers of oil! Wind mills and cars that run on batteries sound good,but won"t solve our real problem.

Back to The Future Agenda?

I was born at the beginning of the "Great Depression". As an infant I slept in a dresser drawer lined with pillows. Pictures I still have prove this. I of course don"t remember. I had loving parents and two younger brothers to play with. I really didn't feel deprived or "poor". But as I got a few years older in the middle 1930s, and saw what was happening to many friends families in my North West Side of Milwaukee home. I did begin to understand the enormity of the misery our Country was going through. "Bank holidays" and massive unemployment, home forclosures were just a few of the many effects of Depression I was witness to.

Now the Congress of the United States with the aid of our President may be taking the steps backward toward the dreaded bankruptcy of this great Country of ours. No, not next year or ten years from now, but possibly by 2040 we will be "back to the future". We won't be transported in a magical car as young McFly did in the popular movie "Back to The Future". Nor will we be able to hop back into that car and return to the good days before the impending "crash".

How you ask is this going to happen? The present proposals in the Senate, and unfortunately not disapproved of by President Bush, for laws granting "amnesty" to over twenty million illegal aliens is a large step toward accelerating the time of insolvency of the social security program and the whole welfare state as it is presently funded. Predictions by Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation estimate that giving amnesty to just 60% to 80% of the present illegals will add 11.4 to 16 billion dollars annually to the cost of welfare. Most of this burden on tax payers will be for needed emergency room and hospital costs for the new aliens made legal by amnesty.

In the past five years Medicaid has grown 50% in people eligible. Food stamp recipients has grown 49% and Pell grants have grown 35%. Earned income tax credit program subsidies to 21 million people has leaped to thirty-five (35) billion dollars annually! Much Of this has to be caused by the huge illegal population.

Most respected economists predict that with our current rate of disbursements for benefits staying constant, and income the government takes from our paychecks now to pay for the benefits not being raised by increased taxes. The social security system will collapse by 2040. What do think will happen to the time line for insolvency if we pour another 18-20 million "amnestyed" illegals into the system?

Yet the liberal media and too many members of Congress hope this will happen. After all, following the great depression, the Democrats controled Congress and the White House for forty years! I think many of them want to take us "back to the future!"

Why else would you see in this weeks news a poll done by the New York Times and CBS and widely circulated in the Liberal media that says: 59% of Americans favor more immigrants, 61% wants illegals who lived and worked in the USA for 2 years be given citizenship, and 66% oppose a fence on the border between Mexico and the US.

Where did they take the poll? In Los Angeles California with over 70% Latino population? Thomas Sowell, whom I respect a great deal more than anyone associated with the NYT or CBS, reports in today's "Town Hall", that the "top priority for most polled Americans is for the government to control our borders. How else but with a fence will we do it. The "catch and release policy" being used presently won't do it. Soldiers up and down the border will either capture or shoot alliens trying to cross over from Mexico to the USA. This is not the humane way. A fence provides the best deterrent. Not the solution. Any solution enacted has to include draconian measures such as cutting off all aid to illegals except life saving care.

If we don't solve this problem I am sure the Democrats will get their hold on the government, and socialism will surely follow.

Time to Raise the White Flag?

In 2000 I had no hesitation in entering the voting booth to vote for George Bush for President. My hopes and dreams for This wonderful country assured me that he would be a good choice to lead "Us" in the battle for Conservative principles and laws.
In 2004 after all the increased spending passed by a Republican controlled Congress, and not vetoed by President Bush. The many other "compromises made with congressional liberals all led me to doubt that I had voted correctly in 2000. But with the war in Iraq being successfully waged against one of the major proponents of Radical Muslim terror against America. I had no doubt that the sitting President would do a better job then the Democratic nominee, Senator Kerry, for all the obvious reasons.
In 2006 I still support what our Government is doing in the war on Radical Muslim Terrorism, despite the casualty rate of our brave soldiers. No war is fought without loosing too many brave military personal! The problem I have, and apparently from the latest polls, most Americans have, Is the way President Bush and his administration is Handling too many domestic issues.
Immigration is foremost. I am sure any prominent politician who ran on a "ticket" of strong border enforcement and effectively stopping the tidal wave of illegal immigrants from Mexico, would if not win surely make a very good showing in 2008. President Bush and his advisers have not even stopped the bureaucrats who run the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from ignoring the will of the people by having a policy of "capture and release" for all illegal aliens caught crossing our border from Mexico. Billions of dollars have been appropriated to fund DHS and unfortunately they are not doing their job. How many potential terrorists have bee caught and released. While this is going on. Michelle Malkin reports in here article today that Homeland Security executive staffers in Washington are driven around Washington in "Shillington limousine" Vans and sedans at a tax payer cost of over six (6) million dollars a year. And by the way this service owner, who has a five (5) year contract with the government has a "Rap" sheet 64 pages long with numerous felonies and misdemeanors.
And what is even more outrageous is the border guards who are supposed to stop and arrest the illegals crossing the border. Are reporting to the Mexican government the names of the "Minutemen" volunteers who are trying desperately and at no cost to the taxpayers to apprehend the illegals.
This is happening while Democrats and Republicans together are trying to pass a "Guest Worker" bill. If passed it will most probably be ignored by bureaucrats who are paid to enforce the law, but prefer the "open Border" policy. It would help if our President listened to the majority that elected him and not whomever or whatever is leading him to further disfavor with the disgruntled
"silent majority". Will we hold our nose and vote Republican in 2006 and 2008? Or will we throw the "buggers" out and take our chances with the "Socialist" Democrats?
I will hold my nose and vote a straight ticket as I always have despite my extreme disillusionment with President Bush and his Administration.

Just Another Late Payment Penalty?

We Americans are used to being financially penalized for failing to pay our monthly credit card minimum payment on time. Late payment of a home mortgage usually results in a monetary penalty. Late payment fees for car payments, and many other forms of monthly payment have become part of our lives for many of us. We know that the biggest penalty we can certainly incur is the one that the government charges for late payment of our income tax, unless an extension has been filed with the IRS.
Now we have a new wrinkle in government penalties. The fine for late sign up for the Medicare Prescription Plan. The deadline for enrolling in the Congressional approved Medicare Prescription Plan is next Monday. If people presently enrolled in Medicare don't sign up for the new "Plan" a financial penalty will be applied and will grow larger each month that the Medicare eligible Senior Citizen delays enrollment. This provision is very punitive for people who still wonder if this Plan will be best for their needs. People who are supposed to be recipients of governmental largesse, will be actually punished financially if they don't join now.
The first thing that comes to mind when I read that our President is "stumping" Florida encouraging seniors to join before Monday. Is the words "adverse selection".
Apparently the close to 1000 meetings in States around the US with senior citizens by government officials is to enroll enough more seniors to prevent a situation in which only those who will use this Plan join. Reduce the chance of "adverse selection."
Having spent over ten (10) years in the Health Insurance Industry as a mid-level executive. I am very familiar with the effect of "adverse selection". All Plans are actuarially designed with the purpose of preventing the pool of members from being only users. For a Plan to survive financially the premiums collected must not be less than the amount of money paid out to providers for services or products. This is most certainly the reason why President Bush is not only visiting Florida Senior Citizens, but also refuses to consider extending the deadline for sign ups without late "Fines." He and the Medicare officials are probably worried "adverse selection" could doom the Medicare Prescription Plan before it gets "off the ground."If this happens many of the "providers" signed up to provide the discounted prescription drugs will certainly loose money and may withdraw from the plan. This will reduce Seniors choice of provider pharmacies. I hope this won't happen, but it could!

Fuzzy Headed Actions and Proposals

Recently in an article posted on the web that I read about Eric Schlosser and Paul Hawkens' "Crusade against Fast Food giant McDonalds" . The two were quoted as saying":fast foods are bad for middle school students". And because of the Fast Food Industry advertising blitz on TV they are "attempting to control behavior of children." The implication being that the government needs to do something about this to control the growing obesity of Americas children. It is true we Americans are getting fatter each year. I personally can attest to the truth of this problem.
The problems I have with this approach are both constitutional based and fact based.
First, where do we stop with the taking away of freedom of speech. Are Liberals like Schlosser and Hawken happy to stop "Big Mac" and their competitors from producing adds that promote their product? Or will they go after the grocery store giants whose delicatessen sell most of the fried foods found in McNuggets and cheeseburgers? After all the sound and fury has settled down let me remind these "geniuses" that the most common childhood disease for children aged 1-6 is not obesity but dental caries! It also has a devastating effect of pain and suffering not to mention cost on teenagers, but thanks to fluoridation caries rates inteenagers has been reduced. Why don't you hear more advocates for policing what our children eat attacking the adds of cereal companies, and companies selling soft drink and fruit juices loaded with sugar? Sugar consumption by small children is the main dietary variable in dental caries destruction of childrens' teeth. This statistic is reported in "American Family Physician" and supported by the Academy of Family Physicians.Maybe I am getting ahead of myself. I may be predicting the future agenda for these "eggheads". But what has happened to the constitutional freedom to do what you want as long as it is lawful? Maybe they are thinking ahead to the Marxist/ Socialist country many of our so called "academia",and their "fellow travelers" have in their minds for the future of our Country?
My second surprise was the failure of CNNs Anderson Hays Cooper to be the succesful replacemwnt anchor of CNN in place of fired Aaron Brown. His ratings are much lower than Mr. Browns ever were. I have always jokingly referred to my family that CNN should be called the "Communist Sympathizer News Network". And now they hired a progeny of Gloria Vanderbilt who went to the University of Hanoi to study Vietnamese!
Are their no Universities in The U.S. or South Vietnam that teach the Vietnamese language? Or did he go there because he felt comfortable in the company of people whose countrymen killed 55,000 American soldiers? Maybe viewers think about it when they watched him on CNN!

Outrageous News!

The Webster dictionary describes the adjective "outrageous" as: "Going beyond standards of decency, utterly intolerable in a civilized society." Other sources describe it as "beyond all reason and being beyond the bounds of good taste."
The jury decision not to hand down a sentence of death for Zacaraias Moussaoui is a reference that should be included in the dictionary in the definition of Outrageous. How can we justify giving the death penalty to single murderers when a jury fails to find sufficient cause to give the admitted participant in the murder of hundreds. Mitigating circumstances be damned! The radical Muslims will begin taking hostages in his name once he is incarcerated, demanding his release or they will kill the hostages. When will the "bleeding hearts" and liberals realized that weakness only encourages those that hate us, to be more aggressive in their quest to kill the "infidels".
On a nationally broadcast radio program this week one of the professors at a Big Ten Law School made his case for the reducing or eliminating standardized tests used to determine who gets into Law School. He advocated using the performance of the law student in the first year be the deciding factor in who gets to complete a law school education. This is this "liberal" professors idea for increasing the number of "needed" minority lawyers in our country.
Forgive me if I misunderstood the role of graduate schools such as Medicine, Law, Dentistry, and "PhD" programs. I really thought it is to graduate and send out into the real world the best and brightest not a graduating class that is marginally proficient, but perfectly "Balkanized" and politically correct! This is just another attempt to destroy the merit system that makes our graduate programs in all fields the envy of the whole world. With any luck this concept will fail!
The proposal to ban soft drinks except diet sodas in primary and high schools is another example of the government meddling in our lives that will surely bring unwanted results.
Not only are most diet drinks loaded with chemicals that have been linked to cancer, but how are they planning to enforce this ban? Yes, they can remove all the dispensing machines, but who will be designated to be sure the students won't bring in sugar loaded drinks. The "food police"! Teachers are having a hard enough time teaching our children to read, write and do basic math. Now they have to check back packs?
What will be next? The banishing of meat in the lunch room. After all, it has fat in it in varying amounts which can contribute to obesity. There is no end to the lengths that people with "good intentions" will go to accomplish their goals.But how about the individuals rights?

Looking for Legal Precedent?

Amidst the hundreds of articles written in the past few weeks about the illegal immigrant problem, the is one very important issue being overlooked. Perhaps it is being "ignored" by the Media for their personal leftist bias.
Yesterdays protest pictures show demonstrators waving signs that say, "Today we march
tomorrow we vote." To me this is the most threatening aspect of the demands being put forward by those who march and advocate "amnesty" for the 12 million illegal immigrants.
No amount of sugar coating or appeals to "Our" sense of compassion will mask the fact that what we have before us is an attempt to turn the constitution on end and shake it up so that all the rights of legal United States citizens will be granted to people who have broken the law and become residents of The United States.
If "amnesty" is granted to these people they will be legal residents of our Country with all the rights and privileges that a legal citizen is entitled to.
Some will say this is the only way to solve the problem. It is logistically impossible to round all the illegals up and ship them back to whence they came from.
This is probably true, but once Congress and the President grant amnesty to these people. Does this not set a legal precedent for all illegals who will certainly pour over our borders if this travesty is allowed to happen.
I can see it now the first place an immigrant, now no longer considered illegal by precedent, coming through our porous borders will head straight for the nearest voting precinct or auto license bureau to register. Those on the left side of the Congressional aisle, and all those leftist advocates of this amnesty push, will have accomplished their goal. A further shift toward a "socialized" America with less emphasis on the rule of law. Do we really want to let this happen? Or will we run to the polls in November and throw the "buggers" out who buy into amnesty for illegals!

Don't Expect to Find This in Mainstream Media!

Two topics that will surely not be covered at all by the so called "mainstream media"are the prospect of foreign countries drilling for oil off the coast of the Southern tip of the Florida Keys. And the real reasons for gasoline prices being so high.
In 1977 the United States signed a treaty with Cuba guaranteeing that Cuba has exclusive right to an exclusive zone of commercial exploration up to 50 miles off its coastline. Cuba is approximately 100 miles from the southern most tip of the Florida Keys, so this gives them mineral rights for an estimated 4.6 billion barrels of crude oil beneath these waters. This estimate was given in a speech on the Senate floor by Idaho Senator Larry Craig recently. The environmentalists and fellow travelers like Senator Martinez of Florida have managed to forbid passage of legislation allowing offshore drilling to provided the crude necessary to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. But the Cubans have already discovered oil offshore with the aid of the oil exploration company Repsol from Spain. Cuba is now in negotiations for drilling and production agreements with Repsol of Spain, Sherritt of Canada and (surprise-Surprise)the Communist Chinese company Siopac. Undoubtedly soon oil will be flowing to one or all of these countries while we Americans continue to suffer at the gasoline pumps.
The second thing you will not hear or read from "old" media is the main causes of the high cost of gasoline at the pump. It is not the price gouging of "Big Oil" as they and the Washington politicians would like us to believe. The real reasons are as follows.
1. The world increase in demand due to economic expansion both at home and in developing countries like china and India. These two countries have 8 times the population of the U.S. and are developing rapidly. Requiring more oil products.
2. Available supply of gasoline has been reduced Hurricane Rita and Katrina reduced U.S. refinery output by 5%. Government mandates for ethanol have reduced the refineries ability to produce gasoline. They can't produce them at the same time. Addition government regulation requiring the additive MTBE be put in ethanol for environmental reasons has delayed refinery retooling and increased time away from the production of gasoline.
3. The government tariff of 54 cents on the importation of foreign ethanol from countries like Brazil has reduced the supply of a government mandated product. This done by Congress to protect Midwestern corn farmers, especially Iowa.
4. Government failure to allow the building of additional refineries for the last 30 years.
5. Federal and State taxes cost an average of 50 cents a gallon. In some states it is higher.
6. Oil production in the United States has fallen by 44.5% since 1971, and since 1996 alone it has dropped 12.3%. Diminished supply always increasing demand and higher prices for what is available.
7. Today we have dropped the demand for fuel efficient cars, and have purchased many more gas guzzler SUVs and Pickup trucks.
So you see it isn't the money grubbing oil companies who are to blame. Some of the big companies like BP, the 2nd largest oil corporation in the world reported a net loss in profit of 15% for this years first quarter.
Just a few things to think about the next time you are filling your gas tank while cursing 'Those Damn Oil Companies!"

History Might Repeat Itself Again?

In 1773 the British Parliament repealed the Townshead Act which had forced American colonists to pay taxes on everything imported. But the repeal exempted the tax on tea from the repeal. This tax of approximately British shilling per pound of tea of this tax the colonist entrepreneur's, somewhat like old Joe Kennedy, decided to "bootleg" tea from Holland to avoid paying the tax. These laterday smugglers did it in a big way and managed to bring enough tea to America for sale to effectively put the British sponsored East India Tea Company close to financial disaster. To help the desperate EITC the British Parliament passed the "Tea Act" in May of 1773. This act allowed the East India Tea Company to sell directly to American colonists bypassing the colonial merchants who we selling the tea from Holland. The taxes and duties collected by the British were refunded in large part to The EITC as a "subsidy" to help them succeed. This enraged the colonists who began the chant, "no taxation without representation". This resulted in the ports of New York and Philadelphia refusing the Tea ships to dock at their ports. Boston allowed three ships to dock, but the dock workers refused to unload the tea,and on the night of 12/16/73/16/73 "The Sons of Liberty", about 60 men dressed as Indians, boarded the three ships and dump into the harbor 342 chests (45 tons) of tea valued at 18,00 pounds British Sterling. Because of this act of "revolution" the British parliament passed the "Intolerability Act" which effectively eliminated self government for the Massachusetts colonists,and closed the Boston harbor. Thus was the match struck that lit the fuse that led to the explosion of Revolution against the British in 1775. Today the issue is taxes in excess of what Americans at the polls in November of 2000 and 2004 voted for. The majority of Americans voted for politicians who promised to limit the size of government and the tax burden on us Americans. The exact opposite has occurred. Government and the spending has grown out of control. Not all of it can be explained by our war against terrorism. Too many expenditures for pork projects by incumbent members of congress for their special friends back home has been a big cause of the budget busting.
Now the oil crisis has hit us, and too many members of congress think the way to rein in the high cost of gas if through taxation. Tax increases at the pump and repeal of tax breaks for exploration and drilling for new sources of oil are in the proposals by various members of congress. No mention, not even by president Bush, of a roll back of the 18 cent federal tax per gallon of gas. Just more punative "acts" to force us and American industry to use less oil. The motor that runs this great country. When will the American people realize that it is time to revolt at the ballot box and vote out of office those that refuse to stop spending and taxing like we are the "colonists" and they are the British "masters". In the free enterprise way of life it is not a "sin" to make a profit. Especially when the stockholders and pension funds that hold the stock are beneficiaries of the profit. It is a "sin" when government makes us work from January 1st to May each year just to pay for their spending habits!

President Bush Missed the Mark!

Today our president gave another of his speeches which he apparently hopes will raise the American public awareness of his recognition of the impact on us of high gasoline prices. The problem with his speech and apparent misunderstanding of the cause of this national problem is that he believes "Americans are addicted to oil."
What he should have said is that too many members of Congress are addicted to the largesse of the Environmental "wackos" who have managed to get enough members of both houses of Congress to derail any legislation which would allow United States to drill oil in ANWAR and offshore. We presently import sixty percent of the oil consumed to run our world class economy from countries who really don't like us. In fact some countries like Iran and Venezuela hate us!
No additional oil refineries or even modernization of existing plants have been allowed in over 20 years due to the influence of environmentalists and people like ex-Vice President Gore.
With the increased demand from economical developing countries like China and India, who each have over a billion in population. The demand has vastly increased world wide resulting in inflation of the barrel cost for crude oil. China has grown 9% per annum and India 7% In order for OPEC countries to keep up with this increased demand it is predicted by reliable experts that they will have to increase crude oil production by one million barrel's a day!
Another point president Bush failed to mention, is the impact: state, local and federal taxes have on the price of gas at the pump. This average of 46 cents per gallon we pay does not all get used for highway improvement,but like all other taxes goes into that large barrel which congressmen and women can dip into to fund their "pork" projects that keep them in office.
I am happy President Bush is our president and I shudder to think what would have happened if Mr. Kerry had won the election, but I am a little weary of our president failing to call out the real culprits in this oil problem. Not the usual suspects mention over and over by liberals wherever they speak or write, but those in Congress, primarily democrats who have failed to allow United States to become less dependent on Foreign oil. We need oil to keep our standard of living and prominence in the world of leading developed counties. Fancy speeches about alternative fuels and different modes of propulsion won't help,but hinder and mask the real need. More oil from American sources.

Small But Important Facts

One hundred and seventy (170) years ago this year Texas won its independence from Mexico in the great battle of San Jacinton. Sam Huston and his brave army of "Texicans" defeated the renowned General Santa Anna. Texas came into existence as a separate independent country and remained this way until 1845 when it joined the Union by way of "Treaty". The treaty, still in force today, allowed Texas to break up into five individual states if they wished to do so.
Can you imagine what would happen to the political lanscape if that happened. The way our government is now structured there would be ten (10) more Senators for sure, and who knows how many more representatives elected to congress. The balance of power would certainly be effected in the Senate with the probability of most of the Senators being elected to represent the Republican party. Not a bad idea!
Why our Country leadership continues to " kiss-up" to Communist China" and Russia, which I believe is still a haven for dedicated Communists, is beyond my comprehension. I know diplomacy with these people is better than overt hostility toward them. Never the less, both Countries are anything but friendly allies. China has sold and is still selling "silkworm" missiles to our enemies. China also is alleged to be exporting nuclear technology to Iran, and Russia not only provided ""SAMS"" to North Vietnam to kill American pilots, but is still supplying them, and the new "TOR" missile to North Korea with whom we are technically still at war but in a state of truce. The Russians lead by former KGB agent President Putin have publicly stated they will not support a UN resolution sanctioning Iran for continuing to work toward development of nuclear weapons. If this is what we accept from our "friends" being wined and dined at the White House. What do we expect from our enemies? Just one thing. Eventually they will use those weapons against us and/or our real allies.

Reflection of Grieved Man

Having recently returned from a long car trip to my oldest daughters funeral. I want to publicly proclaim my deep sorrow in losing one of my children. Not any child, but my first born, who was the kindest, most thoughtful person I have ever lost to death. Of course,like many people in my advanced age group, I have lost both my mother and father. Both at an early age. They too were kind and loving persons, but I have a special place in my heart for my first born who is now gone. I know my religious beliefs tell me she has gone to a "better place". And now is with those other loved ones that have crossed over to the "other side". But I still grieve and wonder why the "Good Die Young?"
The anguish experienced by parents who lose a child to wars or tragic accidents is certainly no less than mine, and I have empathy for them. The world suddenly becomes a more empty place, and the process of going on with our lives is harder.
The one thing I was impressed with was the large numbers of co-workers who attended her funeral. Obviously Her goodness and kindness were evident to all who came in contact with Susan. May God open his arms and embrace Her as I wish I could one more time.
What is the message I am trying to relay to you who take the time to read this? I seek but one thing. No not sympathy, but awakening to the fact that our lives are very fragile. One minute we are here and the next we are gone. So, don't be too busy to tell your loved ones that you love them, and take the time to make personal contact with them. Hug them while you still can!

President Bushs' Public Welcome of a Tyrant!

As a life long republican,who strayed away once to vote for President Kennedy, I am disturbed by the public pronouncements of our president during his press conference welcoming the Chinese Communist "president" at the White House.
All the platitudes and "diplomatic correct" verbiage used for public consumption will not obscure the fact that Communist China could become the 21st century equivalent of "the axis of evil". No matter what the Administration PR people tell us will be discussed in private meetings regarding Chinas' persecution of religion, lack of human rights and disgracefully low wages for the Chinese worker. It is the public images and words spoken at the White House that will be carried all over the world by television and radio. Even in China.
There are too many problems in China to bring to an article like this, but I will attempt to elaborate on three that are particularly troublesome to me.
First, is the ever present but seldom spoken military threat posed to the United States and its allies in Asia. In 1953 the North Koreans invaded South Korea. In the ensuing five years over fifty thousand American service men and women died with the aid of Communist troops from China and their weapons fighting the North Korean aggression. We still face the threat of further North Korean warfare to "re-unify " Korea. But the greatest threat comes from the Nuclear build up in China, and their stated treat that any attempt to help defend our ally Taiwan if China decides to invade Taiwan would result in a nuclear attack on United States. Classified Chinese documents, specifically "Document 65" indicate that China has presently nuclear ICBMs targeting U.S. West coast cities. This according to the book "The Chinese Threat" by Mr. Gertz. This The result of the largesse of the Clinton Administration when it allowed the technology for missile guidance to be sold to Communist China.
The Second, is the failure of china to allow religious freedom despite President Bush's appeal to the Communist leaders during his "state visit" in 2005. The Communist regime has an established State controlled religion, but any other denomination (Protestant, Catholic, Mormon, Buddhist, or Jewish) that worships in secret for fear of reprisals is considered a "cult", and an "evil influence". The punishment for participation can be one or many of the following: fines, imprisonment, torture, welfare payment deductions and withholding medical care. It is also common practice to confiscate Church valuables and property. Recently Cai-Zhoohua pastor of a Chinese Protestant church was sent to prison for three years and fined the U, S. equivalent of $20,000 for printing and distributing Bibles!
Lastly, the worse than "third world" wages paid to Chinese workers making goods for sale in the United States. Unfortunately, "Free Trade" with China results in one thing only. Access by American Companies to "cheap labor".
I don't usually take the position of anti-free traders and Unions, but on this one I have to agree. When Chinese workers are paid 23 cents an hour to make Ralph Lauren shirts, and Nike shoes are made by workers who work 16 hours a day six days a week to make Nike shoes for a paltry $3.00 a day, there is something wrong with this picture. The Wall Street Journal published a recent article praising Communist China stating, "More efficient Chinese production has slashed the price of consumer goods". Why not substitute the words "slave labor" for "efficient production". In the last five years the average Chinese workers wages have been slashed by as much as 80+ percent. American companies continue to send billions of dollars to China for production of cheap goods that can be sold here for huge profits. Nothing wrong with the profit motive, but when it contributes to a regime that is totalitarian and oppress it people as do the Chinese Communists. There has to be a better way.

The Politics of Double Speak.

As I do every morning I was perusing the articles posted on the internet which had been written by political notables and pundits. This morning among the numerous stories about the immigration "amnesty", generals criticizing the way secretary Rumsfeld is waging the war, and should be replaced. I found two articles that deserve consideration. The first was President Bush going on the "stump" for more women in the academic fields of Mathematics and Science. This at first "blush" sounds like a good idea since most of those presently enrolled in American universities are men. But a further review of what is going on here reveals that our President is pushing for another "affirmative action" in mathematics and science for women. Such benefits of this type of program would be grants in aid earmarked only for women, quotas for Universities to fill with woman in these academic disciplines,and penalties incumbent upon non-compliance. What we don't need in this wonderful country is another program that decides who gets valuable training in the fields of scientific effort. We need to have gender and color-blind selection by admissions committees if we want the best scientists. Not the most politically correct.
The second article was written by former Mayor of New York City, Mr. Ed. Koch. In his article concerning how the Democrats, he is one himself, can win back control of the federal government. In this article were numerous things which the Democrats must offer in their platform, in lieu of "Bush Bashing", to win back Congress and eventually the White house. The one that hit me between the eyes was to "offer a comprehensive National health care plan that is based on "the resources available".
This political speak for two things. Rationing of care and increasing the taxes on those who pay taxes. Are the American people ready to hand over the decision for who gets care and who doesn't because of age, rate of survival based on past statistics,or failing to follow government dictated standards of eating and drinking. This doesn't even consider what the increase in tax liability would be if such a comprehensive plan were adopted.
In her "first year in office", Hillary got together a large group of "eggheaded" Liberals to draft a plan for "socialized Medicine".When the American public discovered what was going on behind closed doors we were outraged. Now she is on the "stump' only this time she is not running for "first lady", but for the whole enchilada. President of the United States of America. Don't think for a second that she has changed her core beliefs. Along with reditstribution of wealth through expansion of the unearned tax credit, her election will certainly lead us further down the road to socialism.
The average American works from January to May presently to pay his taxes, which currently consumes twenty percent (20%) of our Gross Domestic Product! Can we allow people like Hillary and her left wing followers in Congress to continue taxing us so they can live like the 21st century equivalent of Royalty?
